Steve was awesome! We had such a great day and learned so much. It was so nice to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The waters and access to USB ports and plug ins were also an added benefit for such a long day. Everything was taken care of for us and we would love to book with this tour company (and Steve) again!

This tour is an absolute must! We had been to Grand Canyon before but this west rim tour was the best and Matt was the best driver/tour guide. Provided lots of history and great information about the Canyon, Hoover Dam and Las Vegas in general. Small group is definitely the way to go and he gave us great info to navigate the Canyon and where to spend our time and where. What an amazing trip to the Grand Canyon! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the Skywalk was such an incredible experience with views we’ll never forget. Even with rain and cool temps ( highly unusual for this time of year), Matt made this a great trip! The West Rim is owned by the Hualapai Tribe, which it makes it even more interesting. And Matt knew where to find the Bighorn Sheep! A win all around!

An excellent way to spend a day trip out of Las Vegas. The van was very comfortable and we loved that it was a small group. We had a pit-stop half way, which was good. The guide did give us some information about Boulder City as we drove through and about the indigenous people who own the land on which the Grand Canyon is situated. I would have like some more information on the area and people. Lunch was included in the tour, however, information was a little misleading as we were only able to order one course and a soft drink - not "anything we wanted". Food at the Skywalk restaurant is average but I guess that that is to be expected with such a high number of guests coming through. All in all, I would definitely recommend this trip.
We were contacted the day before as there had been an usual amount of rain in the week leading up to our trip and we were offered to reschedule or refund. We rescheduled and it all worked out great. Steve was our host for the day and he was great. Kept us in good spirits whilst on the journey to and from the Canyon and Dam, with lots of information, all conveyed in an interesting and somewhat humorous way. The food at the canyon in the restaurant was not great, boring and basic, but was included in the price so we went with it. The native vendors had some lovely items for sale but very expensive. Did buy a nice t-shirt and cap set for a good price in the main gift shop though. All in all it was a great trip and we are glad we did it.

We had a great time visiting The Grand Canyon, Skywalk and Hoover Dam in this 10 hour excursion. Pick up time & location were notified two days before and perfectly on time right outside our hotel on the day. Ward, our guide for the day, was extremely personable and very knowledgeable. He provided a great commentary as we took the roughly 2.5 hour drive to Grand Canyon, stopping for a quick coffee break along the way. The Skywalk experience itself was great. We arrived early, no queuing to speak of and had a light lunch in the Skywalk Restaurant at Eagle Point, before moving on to Guano point for more amazing views of the canyon. We returned to the Grand Canyon terminal and headed back to Las Vegas, picking up Hoover Dam on the way back. Ward organised a quick stop at the Hoover Dam Hotel for a comfort break before driving down to the dam itself. We drove across the dam and stopped for a great photo opportunity at one of the parking areas above the dam. Then we walked across the dam itself, whilst Ward went back around the one way circuit to pick us up at the other side. Ward always gave us time to visit the gift shops or have water or a restroom break and pick up a snack throughout the day. He was very mindful of our comfort and ensuring the group got to see and do everything they wanted to. I’d recommend One Day Tours for this excursion, Ward was excellent, kept us entertained and comfortable with cool water always on hand. 10/10
We booked the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam tour with One Day Tours, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Communication before the excursion was clear and helpful — they provided precise instructions for the pickup location and time at our hotel on the Strip, which made everything easy. On the week of the tour, we learned that Hoover Dam was unexpectedly closed with no confirmed reopening time. The company was completely transparent about the situation and even offered a full refund if we preferred to cancel. We really appreciated their honesty and professionalism. In the end, Hoover Dam reopened to the public the same day, so the tour proceeded as planned. Our guide, Steve, was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely funny. His commentary throughout the day added so much to the experience. We arrived early at the Grand Canyon Skywalk, well before the big tour buses. This was a huge plus: we had time to enjoy the Skywalk, take in the breathtaking views, and capture great photos without the crowds. The entire excursion was spectacular, with unforgettable scenery and moments. We returned safely to our hotel around 5:30 pm, right on schedule. We truly recommend this tour. One Day Tours delivered an amazing experience with excellent service and thoughtful attention to detail.
Ward was our tour guide and he was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and very accommodating. The tour took approximately 10 hours but following Ward’s instructions gave us ample time at the skywalk, guano and eagle points, time to sit and have a wonderful Native American lunch and time to visit the Hoover Dam. We couldn’t stay more than 10 minutes outside to view the Hoover Fam because it was 115 degrees out there. Everyone on the tour was punctual so we were always on time. We headed back towards Las Vegas around 3:45pm. We got to meet some really special people today. This is an experience that created memories that will last a lifetime.

Great experience using One day tours and Ward. Our kids are 13 and 7 and it was an easy trip for them. Ward dropped some knowledge and funny stories along the drive and definitely streamlined everything and the best things to see while there.

Best decision to pick this trip! Communication (call and text) pre-trip was helpful. Our guide Steve picked us up at our hotel just as expected and kept us ahead of the crowds all day. Price for your experience is right on the money. We were never rushed and still had time to see everything we wanted while still relaxing a bit for lunch. Steve offered details during the drive and answered questions. The van was comfortable, cool AC, plenty of room, comfy seats and plenty of cold water during the day.
Excellent service from One Day Tours, Matt was our chauffeur and historical guide through Nevada history, Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. The ride was smooth and the atmosphere was friendly. This is a drop off tour, Matt took us to Grand Canyon West, gave us clear directions on what to do with the shuttles when we got there and we were on our own. GCW was amazing but people beware there is little to no boundaries from the cliffs especially at Guano point. You need to have some maturity and dexterity to do the entire hike. It’s not a place to let the kids roam free. The Sky Walk was fun and the food was good. I see prices for this tour at lower rates but those may not include admission and meals. Ours was the premium package and also included coupons at gift shops. It was nice to have everything prepaid. Overall Matt was terrific and kept us smiling in the heat and it is a trip we won’t soon forget!

We decided to take this trip a few months ago and are so glad we did. First, the cancellation policy is very liberal allowing you to cancel pretty much up to 24 hours before. They communicated well ahead of time, picked us up exactly when they said they would. We had Steve as our guide and he was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and accommodating. If you only have one day to do the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam, this is the way to do it!
