The worst tour I've ever been on. Truly pathetic. Didn't even want to stick around to get my money back it was so bad.

Itinerary
Formally known as "The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement", The Mob Museum contains a vast amount of information on the history of the Mafia and the various criminal activities that took place during the Prohibition Era.
When Benny Binion purchased the Hotel Apache, he decided to make a few changes to the building - secret rooms, tunnels, and other things to make criminal activity easier. But what he could not change was the haunted energy of various parts of the hotel, so get ready to learn about Benny's crimes, and the ghosts leftover!
The El Cortez is typically not the first hotel-casino you'll hear about in Vegas, Binion's usually takes that spot, but there is far from a shortage of mob history and paranormal experiences to learn about here, and you can even book a night to stay after your tour!

So much fun! Ed was a wealth of knowledge and had a great sense of humor. Pretty sure we saw Mr. Petrie at the high school(if you know you know!). Would definitely recommend this as a unique experience in Vegas
It was a fun experience. Our guide brought the local history to life and was a great storyteller. Some of the stops were away from the neon lights and loud noises which really set a fun, but spooky vibe. The tour extended a little past the 90 minute mark, but was worth it if you're the type to take in the atmosphere of all the different stops.
We had an amazing experience on The Shadows of Sin City Tour. Alan was extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. He explained every story in a very clear, engaging, and captivating way, making the history of Las Vegas come alive. The tour lasted about two hours, and it was very interesting from beginning to end. The stories were fascinating, full of historical details, and presented in a way that kept our attention the entire time. Alan clearly has a passion for the subject, and that made the experience even more special. Anyone who enjoys history, intriguing stories, and learning more about the darker side of Las Vegas will not regret booking this tour. We highly recommend it!
The tour guide was very informative. Loved the the extra touches with photos. Great ghosts stories. Definitely recommend it.
Walk thru old Las Vegas. Learn the history about the the area before the casinos. Learned a lot of spooky stories of the area
Be prepared to walk. But, totally worth it! The tour was very informative and gave an historical guide to how Las Vegas began. In addition, the ghost stories, tied in to all the history, which made it more interesting and informative.
It was a crazy windy day and there was only 2 of us on the tour- Mitch, our guide, went above and beyond with the tour We learned alot of history and would definitely recommend it to others
Great tour guide , very engaging and informative. We went to many places I’ve never seen before. Fun time.
Enjoyed the guide - engaging raconteur with a great knowledge of local history. Really gave us a good feel for the changes & growth of Las Vegas over the years - so much so that for at least the first 1/2 of tour, we felt we were on a historical tour. Didn't really focus on ghosts & hauntings until about 1/2 through tour and then some of the ghost stories were very nebulous. Example: we were told repeatedly which casino was the most haunted.... but not why. Noted that there have been many sightings & experiences recorded but no stories. Who are the ghosts supposed to be? What caused the ghosts to remain? Nope, just that it's very haunted. (And we came out of that casino reeking of cigarette smoke.) It would have also helped to have more easily viewed graphics when referring to historic pictures - have had other tours use binder of 8x10s or even a large tablet. Biggest negative was, despite the online tour description, we weren't taken back to our starting point (where we parked). In fact, we were left on the other side of the Fremont District, had to ask the guide for directions which were quick and meant for people familiar with the area, and then made our way alone past some rather dodgy sites, sights & people that made us feel rather unsafe. Also didn't care to be reminded more than once that 5-star reviews were appreciated. Been on many ghost tours in US & Canada - this was only about average in comparison.
The guide was rude and monotone, spoke while walking so much went unheard. We go on ghost walks on all our vacations, this was by far the worst.
Literally not even two hours before my tour was supposed to begin, I'm sitting and waiting at the meeting location for the tour to start then I get a text from them saying that they aren't doing the tour tonight as I am the only one who booked the tour. Like, setiously? I had wasted $25 on ubers to get there, then they're wanting me to waste another $25 on ubers to go there and back again. I chose not to reschedule as I didn't have time at any point within the rest of my vacation to do this tour. I had selected this time and day for a reason. If I had wanted Friday or Saturday, I would've selected Friday or Saturday as my original booking. Today was the best day for me just in the way that everything else laid out and was most beneficial for me. But no. Can't do it now, cause they don't wanna send a text around noon to people saying, "Hey, you're our only person for the tour tonight. Don't show up to the meeting point unless we say you should so you don't waste your time." But no. Getting a refund, but it doesn't replace the $25 I wasted on ubers.
Our guide was nice and informative on history but not much ghost story to the trip. Long walk to see a few historic sites, but not exactly what was advertised. Your guide even mentioned it several times. This is “more of a history tour.”
Alan was a great tour guide! Very engaging and knowledgeable on the history of Las Vegas! This is a great tour for anyone looking for a fun and interactive experience!
Unfortunately, the tour operator did not show up for the tour at the designated time. When the vendor tried to contact the tour operator, their call was sent to voicemail. At this time, a full refund has been requested.
Cool experience knowing the history of old Las Vegas and the haunted areas visited. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
Fun learning experience! Easy to follow appreciated the story telling with each of the different areas.
Mary was such an amazing tour guide, she was very detailed with the history and the experiences that came along with it. She was taking us to places that we never expected paranormal experiences would occur. She was fun and engaging, I would recommend her to whoever is interested in this tour.
Dragon was a really great guide and the walk was very interesting, especially seeing Las Vegas High School
Despite high heat my wife and I enjoyed hearing about the history of primarily old Las Vegas. Dragan Rnic Jr. was engaging and pleasant while also being challenged by the high heat (100* plus) and occasionally background noise/music in some of the areas we toured.
We really enjoyed the tour. Our friend Alan did a great job as we walked around old Vegas. You learn a lot about how the area was established and how incidents that occurred help develop the present day Las Vegas.
If you love some Mob history and ghost tales, you’ll enjoy this tour! Sega was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgeable, super friendly and fun!
Tour was awesome. Learned so much about Vegas history! The High School ghost stories were our favorite, including photos of ghosts!
My friend and I were the only one on the 9:30 tour on her birthday. July 6th. We asked him to go a little slower because of a knee issue. He said ok. We had to keep asking him to slow down. He was very knowledgeable about the previous owners of an onions, and other Casinos, and we enjoyed listening to him, that is where the good stopped. He left us off in a bad part of downtown. He did not tell us that at the beginning of the tour. Again, two women, only on the tour. At the end, I handed him a $5 bill for a tip and he said: “Are you sure you don’t need this more than me?” $5 is standard for a tour. My friend also gave him $5. It is not our fault that no one else booked the tour. Had more people booked, he would have made more money. So disappointed in his behavior. That ruined it for us. Make sure you know where you will be dropped off and beware of begging for tips. Very rude!
We had a great time with Segashine, our guide. He was very knowledgeable and we learned lots of new things! Would absolutely recommend!
Our guide Sega was incredibly fluent in Las Vegas history, ghostly sightings, gory details and overall geographical insights we never would have imagined without taking this tour. We’d recommend it highly to anyone wanting to go beyond the surface of Las Vegas entertainment!
From the first moments, the tour on evening of 6/19 was awkward and uncomfortable with Sammy. He seemed “off” and at end of tour the other guests agreed that something was strange. He seemed impaired or something. His demeanor was weird. He asked strange questions as he could tell the group was uncomfortable. Just a terrible waste of time and money that should be refunded to the 5 of us that paid. Not to mention the costs of transportation to the starting point of tour. Can’t believe the prior ratings score average a 4.8. Those reviewers did not have the experience our two (unrelated) groups had…
We had so much fun on this tour. It had great info about the history of Vegas and haunted areas. We got to ask a ton of questions and our guide was very knowledgeable.
It was so much fun and informative! We came with the family and it was a blast. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny! Would do it again!
Our tour guide was Alan and he did an amazing job, he was very knowledgeable and a great story teller. I would definitely like to do this again if I ever come back to Vegas.
Wonderful and informative! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I must do if you are going to Las Vegas
As a group of Las Vegas natives, we had a great time wandering downtown Las Vegas and learning some very interesting history about the area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun and interesting with his research and passion.
Sammy was a great guide— very knowledgeable and funny. He went the extra mile. I had a great time on the tour and it added to my overall Vegas experience.
Idk if we missed something but this experience was not worth the money. My partner and I were the only people attending the tour. No signage indicated where the tour starts. A man who was clearly drunk and had dried vomit down the front of his jacket mentioned my name from the booking and started the tour. He wore nothing to indicate he is a tour guide. He took us to see various parking garages and frankly my partner and I worried that not only is this tour a scam, but it may be unsafe. Our guide appeared to be drinking and irritable. We left early, later learned this company is out of Louisiana and likely has no idea who is giving these tours. Don’t do it!
Great overview of local history and lore, but I would not consider this so much of a ghost walk. Spookiness level is low.
The tour was good. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. It wasn't scary, if that's what you want, but we just enjoyed it. It was historically informative about the culture of the Vegas area. Our guide was Allen.
Fun tour guide with interesting stops. I wish it would have been more ghost focused, but I would recommend it nonetheless
Allan was a great guide and historian. We could tell he really enjoys the history and haunts of Las Vegas!
We were walked all over downtown LV,past literally dozens of homeless sleeping on the streets to look at buildings where people had been murdered or died suspiciously. A pretty lame experience. Spend your time on Fremont st.
We had the honor of a private tour. Our guide Alan was a great storyteller and some of the stories were truly chilling (my regards to mr Petri). Overall, a time well spent and I would recommend it to get an overview of Las Vegas history and the main string-pullers behind all the glitz and glamour.
I recently went on a ghost tour in Las Vegas, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our tour guide, Alan, was incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly. He kept the group engaged with fascinating stories and historical insights from start to finish. I found myself constantly interested, and whenever I had questions, Alan responded with enthusiasm and detailed answers, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're thinking about taking this tour, I highly recommend it. If you’re lucky enough to have Alan as your guide, you're in for a treat. He truly made the tour special. I can't wait to go on another one!
Our guide, Mary, was incredible! She told stories about the dark history of Las Vegas that were so gripping we didn’t even think about the 100 degree heat. Her knowledge and personal experiences facilitating these tours gave it so much depth leaving us to believe Las Vegas’s violent past is refusing to be forgotten.
After coming to Vegas for years and doing the usual Vegas activities, we decided to do something different, and that's what we got. Fun, entertaining, and historical, we learned so much and had a great time.
Jim was a great tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. My friends and I are paranormal investigators and we enjoy ghost tours everywhere go. I will definitely recommend.
My family was the only group on the tour. Our tour guide was awkward, stood too close, and kept spitting on us when he talked. At one point he wanted to leave us at a random alley to make a personal phone call. We refused and he took it sort of personally. My aunt also has back issues and wanted to end the tour and he was short with her as well. The tour had about 5 stops in total ( mph museum, California, binions, bridger building, and Las Vegas high school.) We spent most of the time walking in silence to each stop for two hours. Expected to spend more time at major sights downtown but all we saw was alleyways and sidewalk. Felt unsafe at times because it was so late at night. The “ghost stories” were just history facts. They were great facts, we just wanted more ooky spooky storytelling. He sort of just told us that people died in some areas. Wasn’t worth the money, do not book this tour.
The tour was very informative. The stories about Binions and the high school creeped me out the most. Jim was very knowledgeable and personable. Would definitely recommend.
We were looking for more of a haunted tour/ghost story sort of adventure- hopefully peppered with tales of murder and bits of history here and there- but were met with more of a rambling, non-linear assemblage of largely mob related semi-stories that did occasionally mention ways in which people think certain buildings might be haunted. It seemed like the organization and delivery of the tour needed to be retuned. When traveling between stops on a tour like this, it’s nice to have some bonus spooky stories/tales of terror to fill the dead air while traveling in a pack, but that wasn’t a part of this tour. (I hate to mention it, but I must say that chewing gum and talking can pose certain risks of flying spit- and my husband and I did get accidentally spit on a few times)
We did the Ghost Tour with Jim and had a one-of-a-kind experience! This tour is in OG Vegas aka Fremont Street but you go away from the tourist areas, which can be a little sketchy, but still pretty cool. It was a really cool way to learn about the history of Vegas. Jim is very engaging and fun! Definitely wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water!
We learned so much on this tour! Even the Las Vegas native in our group learned some things. The tour guide was insightful and funny. Would recommend this to anyone looking for something different to do around Freemont Street.
This was a fun and fascinating tour, including ghost and historical stories - very entertaining. You’ll enjoy this tour.
