Had a great experience with River Dogz with our whole family. The tour itself was beautiful and fun. They proved all the equipment and snacks and our guide Preston was so good about ensuring everyone’s safety and making the experience enjoyable for the entire group!

Our tour guide Michelle was very friendly and engaging, while keeping the tour fun, safe and an informative trip on the Colorado river up to the Emerald caves. Her tour pointed out a number of animals and history of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking adventure and the beautiful scenery.

Had a great experience with RiverDogz and highly recommend the tour. The river is beautiful and the water really is green along the river. My daughter and I had a great time and recommend it highly. Our guide Preston was awesome and had snacks and drinks for us at the stop we took to swim and hike. Highly recommend

Our 2nd time kayaking the Colorado, 1st tiem 5 years ago. Our guide Capt G was very personable and and extensive knowledge he passed to us. We did get to see a couple of horn sheep. Overall great experience

Michelle was absolutely fabulous. She was knowledgeable, entertaining, and extremely helpful. Our tour departed 2 hours prior to the booked timing, but it was communicated early and was worth it to avoid the wind! I would recommend this tour!

My husband & I had the pleasure of having Michelle as our guide. She is extremely knowledgeable about the river and the history of the area. She was awesome!! We had an amazing experience!! The wind was rough but there was no pressure to rush. Michelle allowed us all to go at our own pace. We took a break at a beach area and she lead a tour to a breathtaking view of the river and mountains. The Emerald Cave was stunning!!! We would highly recommend this trip to all of our friends and family.

Beautiful day on the river. Very quiet and the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. She was also very efficient, so we did not waste any time waiting around.

Fantastic outfit with excellent communication esp since high winds were anticipated…moved our time up for us so we didn’t have to cancel and got to enjoy the Colorado River kayaking up & fro to Emerald Cove. Given plenty of time and instructions. Worth it!

River Dogz was great to deal with. From the initial contact through the whole tour they were great. Grif is a great guide. Very personable and knowledgeable. The trip was a nice relaxing paddle. A couple miles up the river with a snack/ swim break and a couple miles back.

This group know what they're doing. They were in constant communication with us before, during and followed up after our trip which added to the professionalism of this crew. Our tour guide Griffin was super funny, informative, and helpful. At one point during our trip the wind had picked up and it became very difficult for two of the parents in our group that had small children in a tandem kayak. He put the two kids in one kayak and towed them behind his in order to help relieve these struggling parents. 5 stars well deserved! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This tour was wonderful, beautiful area, self paced, great for beginners. Our tour guide Michelle was a great teacher and knew the area well. We had so much fun.

Wonderful experience beautiful trip

This was such a fun day. Although we had a stiff wind on our return, we loved the rugged beauty of the canyon. Seeing some wildlife was also a treat. Our guide Jessica was thorough in her instructions, and her friendliness and enthusiasm added to making this a memorable experience. I was a bit disappointed to see another kayaker from a different group catch and play with a small lizard before tossing it into the water. Such interactions with wildlife is not cool, and should be addressed to those who visit.

Such a great time! Kids loved it! Michelle was amazing!! We were a group aging 11-72 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it!

Ryan our guide was awesome. Easy going and funny. Also confident and resourceful on the water and land. He made it a fantastic experience for first timers. Made time for everyone. Oh and the trip itself was amazing. Water was calm, sunshine but not to hot, minimal wind. Going up and down the river with the canyon walls above was amazing. We saw an Eagle and some rams up high. So beautiful a place in the desolate desert I highly recommend River dogs and Willow beach adventure.

We absolutely loved our kayak tour with River Dogz! Our guide, Preston, was excellent! He really made the trip fun and had a wealth of knowledge about the beautiful scenery surrounding us! Definitely a highlight of our Las Vegas trip!

Beautiful water! Preston was knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the areas past, present, and future. The 3 hr tour was just right.

Great experience for the family. Guide was super knowledgeable of the area and had lots to share. Great with the kids. We went early morning and beat crowds. Our youngest 8year old went solo and ran out of steam, but the guide was well equipped and towed him to ensure everyone had an enjoyable ride.

We had such a great time with our guide Jessica. She was very informative and sweet. She shared some history along the way and during our break gave us plenty of water and snacks. She offered to take pictures for everyone as well. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. Our teens loved it too.

Colorado river is stunning. Ms. Julia, our tour guide is very knowledgeable and amazing. And also very patient with me and my friend since it is our first time to paddle/kayak. Our group are all nice and friendly, we got to know and connect with some of them too. Definitely worth an hour drive just outside the city and overall fun experience!!! 10/10

We had an amazing experience with River Dogz and Ryan as our guide! The kayaking instruction was super helpful, Ryan took tons of pictures for the group and was informative about the history, the area, animals and more. This is a great kayaking trip for beginners through experienced. Thanks River Dogz!

Ryan was our guide on this tour and was fantastic, he was able to communicate in a friendly manner which had everyone at ease. He even recommended a great pizza place in the arts district for dinner that night. Sorry I can't remember her name but his fiancee who also assisted was great This is a must do activity

My son and I really enjoyed our time kayaking with the River Dogz. The team did a great job. Our tour guide, Preston was awesome! He is so helpful, patient and very informative. It was worth the money. The group was not so big so that's good.

What a wonderfully setting for a paddle. Length of paddle was good and location was fantastic. Our guide Preston was awesome and he provided education along the way relating to the environment and its history. Was a nice contrast to the lights and actively in Vegas.

If you want to do something outside of Vegas, I highly reccomend this tour. About an hour's drive, but we'll worth it. Lake Mead is beautiful, but the Gren Cave is amazing. You have to go.

The kayaking is a lovely way to spend the day, lazy river drifting and the guides are super with lots of interesting info along the way

This was one of the better guided tours we’ve been on! the weather was perfect the water is beautiful, clear pristine! Our tour guide Ryan was super fun, knowledgeable, and experienced! Ryan timed our way to the Emerald cove so that we werent stuck waiting in line too long and made our trip smooth. Ryan made sure to check in with each guest to see if they were ok or if they needed anything, especially offering water to make sure everyone stayed hydrated. I highly recommend going with River dogz as they are professional and have Ryan on their team!!

This was a very fun activity to get away from the concrete jungle while enjoying the heat! We went down for the 4 mile excursion. The good: our guide, Jessica. Was very personable and had a wonderful, outgoing personality. She included everyone in the group in having fun. She stopped and helped us take pictures of each other and even took pictures of us on her phone that she sent to everyone the next day! Jessica gave us historical facts about the area. The bad: it felt very rushed. Was not a leisurely kayaking experience. It was a get over here in 3 minutes, across the river in 6...I had never been kayaking before and found this much more trying that I thought it'd be. We weren't able to look around at the sights because of the go, go of the tour. On the way back, my boyfriend and I fell back behind the group and enjoyed paddling at our speed looking at the goats, eagles, and all the other sights we didn't get to see on our way to the cove. The cove is very small and only allows approx 10 people in at a time. There was a 30-40 min wait time for our turn to take pictures in the <5 minutes. Overall, I'd definitely do it again. Must do a tandem instead of a single. See if there's a different style group or rental that isnt so time goal oriented that would allow for more of a casual (vs feeling like a race...this was expressed by a few couples in the group) kayaking experience with a goal, ie the cave.

Derrick was awesome!! He went above and beyond to make sure our kayaking adventure was fun, educational (lots of wildlife), and well worth the cost! We were even provided snacks, water, and tons of kayaking advice. We would definitely book this experience with River Dogz again, especially with Derrick as our tour guide.

Our guide is very knowledgeable about the Colorado River, knows the ins and outs, and was very pleasant as a person. She ensured we had snacks and water throughout as well.

Julie is a great guide! Patient. Informative and full of knowledge. Booking and confirmation is easy. Follow up is good. And she sent photos after the trip she took, which is great
