Beautiful sights out there and the option to just take an easy 3 mile walk was perfect for what we wanted. Even ran into a rattlesnake! Casey was our tour guide and he was so great at what he does and it is clear that he truly loves what he does. It was cool to also hear all about his real life experiences and all the hikes he has done.

The hike was challenging but a lot of fun. Views were spectacular. Tony was an awesome guide. Highly recommend!
What an incredible experience hiking at Red Rock Canyon! Our guide, Nick, was fantastic! He was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job pointing out interesting sights and sharing tons of information along the way. He made the entire hike both fun and educational. One of the highlights was getting to climb some amazing rocks and squeeze our way through some pretty tight spaces! It added just the right amount of adventure and made the experience even more memorable. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and Nick made the whole experience even better. We highly recommend this hike, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Nick as your guide!
Love Tours was our local guide for Red Rock Canyon. Tony, our guide, was excellent, and checked how we were doing as we went along. It was good to learn about the history of the canyon and local information. The views were amazing!
Nick was great! The pick up and transport was all seamless. The vibe, information provided and pace of the hike was phenomenal! Nick was a great guide and kept us all well hydrated.
Nick was fun and it was great he adapted the hike to our interests. It is fun adventure and it was great to have a guide that new the easier or more challenging routes through the trails. I appreciated the water that he hauled along. The heat was not bad at all.
Couldn’t have been easier- door to door pickup and drop off from our hotels. Our guide, Tony, was wonderful- knowledgeable about Las Vegas, the trail, and accommodated to everyone’s skill level. Met nice people. Overall, great experience!
Good communication by the tour operator. We went on two different hikes which were great. The only unfortunate part was that the guide was not in great shape. Also being hot around this time of the year would be beneficial to start early.
Nice hike to discover more about the area than only the strip ! The weathzr was perfect Not difficult Thanks to Tony , the guide was so Nice
Nick was a wonderful guide for our Red Rock Canyon morning hike! We are not experienced hikers, but we do walk a lot, and we managed fine. We arranged pick up at our hotel and as it turned out, It was just my myself and my husband hiking. The drive out to Red Rock conservation area was pretty quick from Vegas -maybe a half hour. The entrance fee was covered by the cost of the hike. It was about 2 1/2 hours of hiking. The first half was a little trickier than the second half in that a fair amount of the path was sand covered and a little up and down so you had to be a little careful not to slip. Nick pointed out lots of plants, some of which we could taste. He also explained how the fire in (I think) 2005 decimated parts of the area. You could see stumps of Joshua trees that didn’t survive. Nick also brought plenty of water and snacks for us. The visitor center was a fun bonus. I didn’t know about it before the hike. Cute gift shop and really informative exhibits.
Nick was an amazing tour guide and took us all around one of the trails of the red rock canyon! Overall we loved the experience and would do another one of the trails next time we are back in Vegas.
A great afternoon, easy pickup at our hotel, nice drive to the Canyon- and our tour guide Brayden was awesome- he is very knowledgeable and made our experience much more enjoyable
Did the most amazing two hikes with guide Sarah this month in Red Rocks. Sarah was so knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of our experience. It would be two British clients that were keen to do two hikes in 100 degrees heat. Sarah was very obliging, going out if her way to make sure we enjoyed the morning. We were supplied with generous amounts of water and snacks that helped us through the hikes, and rewarded with the most amazing scenery and great company. Could not recommend this company, and especially Sarah, enough.
This is a great tour - Nick was our guide and was very friendly, hiked at a good pace for the group, and pointed out interesting things the whole way along the way. Red Rock Canyon is beautiful. The vehicle was very nice, clean, and the hotel pick up/drop off was a big plus as a solo traveler. Don't hesitate to do this tour if you are in Vegas and want a half day out in nature.
Nick was an excellent guide. He's very knowledgeable and obviously cares about Red Rock Canyon's preservation. We were very impressed by Nick. The hike itself did include some loose ground, some mildly difficult footing. We saw the beauty of the canyon!
Good idea to go on the early hike! Tony was very helpful and a nice group of two other friendly couples. Beautiful views. Hike was a bit tough but Tony was helpful in pointing out the right rocks to step on. He said this was a mid level hike, but he tailors them to what the group can do.
Hiking in red rock canyon was fun & beautiful. The hike/scramble was challenging in parts, but the scenery & views are worth it. A nice change of pace from the usual Vegas activities. Travis our guide was outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable, and positive. Would definitely hike with him again.
We had an amazing hike with Nick! He was super knowledgeable about the different wildlife, geological formations, plants and flowers which made it a meaningful and memorable experience! We had awesome weather and we were lucky enough to see a waterfall. I 100% recommend this hike with Nick as your guide. Let’s Red Rock & Roll! 😉
This was an amazing hike! The views were so amazing and Tony knew exactly where to take us for the best views.
Travis was excellent. Great guide, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Nice adjustments and will work to pick you up from your hotle even if not listed.
The distance was fine. The rocky trail could be hazardous in places. Scenery was beautiful! Guide was very knowledgable and helpful.
We had a great time, our guide Nick was amazing! Took his time and explained everything about the canyon. Would highly recommend
Nick McDearmon was our guide. I never felt rushed to get to the next thing. Nick allowed our group time to really take in Red Rock. He was knowledgeable about the botany and history of the area. Most importantly, it wasn't just a job for Nick. It was very evident that he has a passion for what he does and the land we were hiking on. It was def worth taking the tour.
The walk was at the beginning of February from noon to 3 PM. We were worried whether the sunlight was too strong. But it was not an issue because the valley created many shadows where we could stay. Our guide gave us two options - a path with a little bit of scrambling on the rocks and a much flatter one. We took the scrambling one, and there were people in heels doing it. If you want to avoid any challenges, you may choose the flat course. If I visit Vegas again, I may find our guide Tony again for another walk.
Everything was easy! The booking, the confirmation, the meeting instructions, Mike, our guide, was early and ready for us. He even had snacks and drinks! Clean well maintained van. Very knowledgeable and fun on the hike too.
Sarah is an amazing guide. She is very friendly, knows the area well, and as a guide, she made the hike more meaningful. She talked about the history and geography of the location. She is very knowledgeable about the plants and trees and other aspects of the eco system and shared that understanding with us during the hike. This is very important to us. It made our trip more enjoyable. This was a perfect fit for our family.
Tony was an excellent guide. He tailored our hike to our fitness level. The Calico Tanks hike with views of Las Vegas at the top was epic! I highly recommend this tour
We had a fantastic guided hike with Nick. From the very start, he was incredibly considerate of everyone in the group, keeping a comfortable pace and genuinely caring that everyone was enjoying the experience. The hike itself was beautiful and well chosen, and Nick’s knowledge really added to it. Friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does — highly recommended!
Nick was awesome great time , fun , answered all questions and more. I will pass my experience onto friends and more, good way to see nature and not waste your money in casino.
Everything was easy. Easy to book. Easy to get questions answered. Easy to meet up with guide. Our guide, Michael, was prompt and personable. He was knowledgeable and interesting. We had an extra guide, Brayden, who was also great. Overall a wonderful experience hiking Red Rock.
Prompt friendly pickup and efficient travel to Red Rock. Halle was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating during the entire hike. It's an experience to learn a lot, see everything and be physically challenged.
We had a great time with our guide Tony! He was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend this experience to friends and family.
Great time in the desert with a combo driving/hiking tour. Our guide, Nick, really knows the territory and was awesome!
Nick was an excellent guide very personable and knowledgeable. He showed us all the different plant life and even picked out a tarantula crossing the road! It’s a beautiful spot and great quick drive to get away from the noise of the strip!
Lovely hike with a very patient and knowledgeable guide, Nick. We enjoyed our trip so much, we will plan to do other hikes with Love Hikes!
Our tour guide Tony was great and the hike was excellent planned and thought of, definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a short getaway!
10/10 experience! Nick was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable about the plants and wildlife. The views on the Calico Tanks trail were fantastic— can’t wait to plan another trip and hike another trail!
The Red Rock Canyon was stunning , the hike was beautiful! I would highly recommend! Great to get away from the LV strip
It was an awesome experience and a beautiful view. My guide, Nick, was great and full of information about the area and the inhabitants.
Red Rock is breathtaking, our guide Sarah was awesome and let us take time to contemplate and absorb everything
On June 10, 2025, we went on a lovely hike in the early morning with our guide, Mike at Red Rock Canyon. Mike was an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable and a great motivator as we did our hike. I appreciated how he told us we were doing a great job and motivated us as we hiked up the mountain. Mike is also very easy going and friendly. It was very much like hanging out with an old friend. I'm glad we decided on an early morning hike to beat the summer heat. We did a moderate hike and ended up with a great view of Las Vegas. I appreciated that Mike held on to our waters and gatorade in his backpack (which was provided by Love Hikes) to keep our hands and pockets free. I'm actually afraid of heights but the hike was perfect. Nothing too crazy and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Thanks again, Mike for a fantastic hike.
Love Hikes was easy to work with as a solo hiker and they added me to a group to ensure I was able to participate. On time pickup and very communicative. Our guide Matthew was well informed and experienced. I learned not only a lot about the geography and geology, but also the history of the land and the people who have lived there. Matthew also read the varying hiking capabilities of our mixed group and was able to allow everyone to participate and still feel comfortable, but also work a bit. It was a great break from the typical Vegas experience and the scenery was amazing.. 10/10 would recommend!
This was a great afternoon of scrambling over rocks to a beautiful waterfall. It wasn’t a long hike, but it was a fun challenge. Josh was a fantastic guide and made sure we were safe, watching for loose rocks or branches in our way. He was a very positive & pleasant guy to hike with, and we were fortunate to have his knowledge of the trails.
Nick Mc D was amazing! Informative, knowledgeable and truly passionate about what he does! Highly recommend Nick and this tour!
If you're looking for an excursion that incorporates a good amount of hiking rather than just driving from viewpoint to viewpoint with short easy walks, this is a fantastic option. Compared to the typical tour, this one came with a good amount of flexibility and built-in customization. Despite being the only party, the tour still went on, which I really appreciated. Nick and Josh were great guides. This was my second experience with Love Hikes, and they've definitely exceeded expectations on both occasions.
We were picked up on time from our hotel. The guides were ready with water and snacks. The whole tour was wonderful with guides that were in a good mood and helpful for the tricky party of the hike.
Clear and easy handling; excellent communication with the company. The hiking style should be determined at the purchase because once on site, the guide asked the group for our preferences. We found the hike to be not very strenuous, while for others it was more difficult. Overall, the landscape was magnificent and it was very pleasant. Water, Gatorade, and small snacks (soft bars, nuts, and peanuts in bags included). Hike that does not require special equipment. Our guide Sarah was very professional and attentive to our needs. Her walking pace was rather slow for us. However, she offered us a slightly longer route... We recommend VIATOR because it is more convenient (ticket purchase and transportation). Thank you! Maxime and Isabelle.
