Awesome time... trip was only 30 minutes but felt longer... really enjoyed the trip... only downfall was a kid who kept talking while the pilot was trying to speak during the tour.

Fantastic experience and informative the hole way until we arrived. Also great and safe helicopter trip with awsome pilot/guide. If you never tryed it I highly recommend!

I loved this tour…a part of that was because I was lucky enough to sit next to the pilot! It was a day with a wind warning, but the ride was smooth and the visibility was great!

Our host Jessie and driver Eric were the best. This was an amazing trip but a very long day. Be prepared to take drinks and snacks. Drink plenty and more water to keep hydrated. Lots of walking on uneven ground so comfy shoes a must. The Hoover Dam was a bit disappointing thought coach would drive over it but no, we walking over motorway bridge so if your scared of heights stay in the coach. Roads very flat and coach swayed loads so if travel sick take pills with. Only thing that let the trip down was the pickup up at the Horseshoe hotel was organised chaos.

Huge fun to fly over Vegas, over the desert and into the Valley of Fire, and drinking champagne in the Valley of Fire really is as cool as it sounds.

My wife and I enjoyed this tour tremendously. Both the guide and the driver were excellent. We loved the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam. The breakfast, lunch and frequent waters provided were very good as well.

First helicopter ride, it was all memorable. Pilot was awesome with a great sense of humor and informative about the canyon and Las Vegas history. Highly recommend.

We were actually offered an upgrade to the champagne toast in the Valley of Fire and it blew our mind. Chelsea was an incredible pilot; she gave as lots of wows and a few sensible thrills.

Well worth doing and a great pilot . There was 6 of us passengers on the trip so space was really tight and if the flight was longer it would have been very uncomfortable. The experience is excellent though , so scenic and fun

This adventure worked out perfectly for me. From the cool driver reaching out about pickup time - to the helicopter ride itself, I was completely satisfied. Friendly staff along the way, comfortable facility, experienced and knowledgeable pilot… I paid extra for the sunset ride and it was the better deal. If you go earlier then be prepared to face the glaring sun. So it may effect your view and taking pictures.

This ride that took us over the Strip, then to the canyon, landing on top and having champagne overlooking Las Vegas, was a great experience that we recommend. Maverick Helicopters are a well oiled machine, from the check in, to the professional and friendly pilots, to the transfers... Some might consider this ride short, for us was enough to get the feel of flying and also a bit of VIP life. LOL

At the last minute required us to buy two more seats due to having two travels weighing 250. This was booked weeks in advance but only told a couple hours before the trip was to begin.

The pilot was very knowledgeable of the area and made our experience enjoyable. Although there were some guests that were nervous, he assured us we were safe and it would be the best tour we've experienced yet in Las Vegas. He was right. Glad we chose the sunset tour it was beautiful!!! I will never forget it!

First, 5 star helicopters for a reason. Booked the trip through Viator on Google. Smooth transactions and payments were completed the day before we went to vegas. On arrival, I had messages to confirm the puck up times, etc.. The pick up went smoothly and on time. Then we had a safety briefing prior to the flight. Our pilot was Ray, he was so professional, knowledgeable, informative and always checking in on our wellbeing. The whole trip was superb, I wholeheartedly recommend 5 star as a company. If we are lucky enough to go back and do it again it would only be with 5 star helicopter rides. Thanks a million it's a tick off my our bucket list.

We wanted to see the Grand Canyon without the hassle of renting a car or being crammed onto a long bus tour. A Helicopter Tour over the canyon seemed like the best approach for us given that they pick you up directly from your hotel and drop you off right after. On the strip, we happened upon an RSI (?) tour operator booth with information on many of the companies that offer such tours. Ultimately, 5-Star was the one we went with given the timing and approach of the flight. We were staying at the Virgin Hotel off strip, and our Tour Operator gave us notice that the pick up time would be 6:15 AM on the morning of our tour - no problem since we're normally on EST time zone so we're up anyway. Night prior we received a courtesy call letting us know they'd be slightly early at 6:00AM. Morning of, our driver was early and notified us not to rush, he was early. No stress. We collected another couple and made our way to Five Star Tours office. Although an early morning for the staff, everyone was friendly and happy to greet us. When you check in, you pass them your credit card and photo ID before being weighed on the scale. (Helicopter seat selection is made by weight not your personal preference on where you want to sit) Each helicopter holds 6 people. We had Paris take us through the safety video prior to being divided into our two groups of six. Luckily we were able to be front seat beside our pilot and got the rockstar views from the head of the helicopter. Overall flight time was just under 90 minutes, leaving at 7 and coming back just shy of 8:30. We opted for no stops or add-ons since we had other plans already scheduled following our flight. Our pilot was excellent – she gave us information as we flew over various parts and was very knowledgeable about the area. Flight was extremely smooth as well and we lucked out that the weather / wind was perfect. When you return to the office, a print out of your photo is waiting for you which is an optional add-on for $25USD should you wish to keep your momento. Big thank you to the entire Team at 5-Star. It was a wonderful experience and we felt extremely safe and comfortable flying with you!

We were packed in a helicopter like sardines. Nobody could move their arms. The pilot didn’t have much to say on the tour; we expected some narrating. Although he did say in the beginning “seats are assigned by weight and the helicopter will be full….if you don’t like that go back inside and tell the staff “..that should have been our first clue. Save your money!!! We have done tours before that we’re very nice and comfortable..this is not it!!

My daughter and I had a great time. The weather wasn’t the most cooperative, but we both agreed the slight turbulence was actually kind of fun and definitely worth seeing the canyon with a dusting of snow. The scenery was beautiful and the pilot pointed out certain features of the canyon or the city throughout the flight - she was fantastic.

What a top experience by a very professional, friendly and helpful company. We were a group of 6, and 5Star Helicopters were extremely accommodating. A lot of money to spend to be stuffed into an old helicopter with no room to move! The man next to me had a shoulder problem and was so packed in he couldn’t move his arms. My husband and I were “assigned” to the middle seats so really couldn’t even take good pictures. The pilot, obviously used to this practice, started his speech with “you have been assigned a seat based on your weight and may not be seated next to the person you came with, so if your not comfortable with that you can go back inside and talk to them about it”! My husband and I were the only ones seated next to each other in our group and had to put our arms around each other so everyone could fit! Don’t waste your money…very uncomfortable trip!!!

The pilot was amazing! She did a fabulous job, we felt like we were just floating the whole time. The views of Red Rock Canyon were beautiful. The next time we are back to Vegas we will do the 4 hour trip to the Grand Canyon.

Great tour.., Erik was great as our pilot and provided super commentary as we flew. The flight itself was super smooth and a great experience. Felt safe and relaxed throughout, such a cool experience…

It was amazing to get up in the air and see everything. I was really bummed my headset was not working properly. I told the pilot and she said just keep tapping it. That was a disappointment cause I missed what she was saying over the area. I paid for a sightseeing flight. It kept turning on and off. I wish the equipment was working properly 😪. I did appreciate the shuttle service and complimentary water.

Excellent value for money, superb experience and cool pilot, the wife was scared before the flight but by the end of the flight she was a convert and loved it. Would book again without a doubt, thanks guys

We had a brilliant time in the helicopter at sunset and our pilot Jack was very informative. It is important that you are aware that this trip does not take you to The Grand Canyon. If you know the geography of the area you will see it is too far to travel to in the time but the labelling is quite misleading and confusing. Think carefully about whether you feel it’s value for money. We thought we could find the venue by foot but it’s really not possible and should not be attempted in the dark. This should be made clear on the site information. However, it was the experience of a lifetime a perfect length for my fearful friend.

The Vegas and sunset Ariel view were amazing. Pilot was friendly and played some good tunes. First time being in a helicopter and would recommend!!

I would definately recommend this helicopter tour to anyone. 5 Star are simply the best. A superb flight taking in the strip in daytime, hoover dam and Grand Canyon pilotted expertly by "Mad Dog" . Wow just wow, the views are spectacular, the flying ingenious so everyone gets a great view. We had a really in depth explanation of everything to do with the rock formations and what to look out for from " Mad Dog". He made my son and I feel extremely priveledged to fly with him. We added kayaking to the experience and spent several hours kayaking near Lake Mead. Absolutely stunning scenary, calm still waters and fantastic company. Well worth the money. A lovely meal waiting for us back at base when we arrived back.

A very professional company, we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were lucky to have MadDog Mike as our pilot, he was so knowledgable and had a great sense of humour 😀 had us laughing from start to finish. Our safety of course was priority and they made us feel very safe indeed. One experience of my bucket list ticked ☑️

I booked this trip and then they cancelled 15 minutes before we we were suppose to leave . They did offer a different option but it would be at 10:45 pm and just the strip and our original flight was at 5:15 pm to red rock . We had to pass . Currently waiting on my full refund since they could not fulfill the trip I booked .

Fun trip! Unique way to see Vegas. Helicopter was very tight. Wish they had offered a champagne toast!
