Dan aka Hoover Dan was an amazing tour guide! A brilliant tour with some amazing lookout points along the way.
It was a great tour. Very informative. Our guide was hands down amazing. He was always making sure the trip was fun. Tha ks for the great day
The tour was great! Very interesting and the tour guide had so much knowledge and passion. Thank you Robert for going above and beyond by taking us to places not in our itinerary!
Robert was completely amazing! He was so knowledgeable and I loved the personal anecdotes he was able to share with us. Be careful! July heat is no joke! Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated and a big hat! The bigger the better!
Loved the private tour guide Marcel that picked us up and drove us to the Hoover Dam. We stopped at a look out point for Lake Mead, walked across the bridge to have a full view of the Hoover Dam and did the power plant tour. He was just great and quite informative. For sure do the tour of the power station. To see the size is incredible.
Bob was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job!
The Hoover Dam experience was absolutely a must-do during our Vegas trip! The entire experience took about 6 hours total, and every part of it was worth it. It was such an amazing opportunity to learn about the history of the Hoover Dam while also enjoying some incredible scenery and views along the way. Pictures honestly do not do it justice. A huge shoutout to our tour guide, Dan Armstrong, who made the experience even better. He was extremely welcoming, funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and he made learning about the Hoover Dam both entertaining and memorable. His energy kept the whole tour enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re visiting Las Vegas, I highly recommend adding this tour to your itinerary. It’s a perfect mix of history, sightseeing, and fun, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
Loved the tour! The guide was amazing and well worth the few hours you spend at each spot! My tour started at 10 and I was pretty much on the tour until about 3 or 4pm!
Great to see the hoover dam but didn't feel it was necessary to stop in Boulder City when we could have spent more time at the dam and been able to go into the gift shop but by the time the generator tour was over, we barely had enough time to get back to the bus after spending what felt like a few short minutes on the actual dam Also, not the drivers fault but there were extremely unruly children in the back and it made it hard to hear what information he was giving and what the video he played said.
Ive emailed customer service AND texted them and have gotten no response. Regarding Hoover Dam Tour on 3/14: Just had a disappointing bus tour to Hoover Dam. Our driver “Robert L” was nice enough but not the best guide. He rambled for the entire trip and kept losing his train of thought. To the point that he completely missed our first exit to the Dam. Had to go past to the next exit and turn around. After the damn tour we had to wait 10 minutes for two people that were late. I realize it’s not your fault. But then the driver took us to a lookout that was “not part of the trip” to a junky gift shop “that was much cheaper than the dam gift shop”. So that wasted 20 more minutes. We get on the road to the scheduled lookout only for someone to be late returning back from that as well. As we finally get on the interstate, he says “oh wait I’m flappin!” He had opened one of the under bay doors when we stopped and hadn’t gotten it closed so we had to PULL OVER ON THE SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY and he had to get out and close it. So by the time we got to Boulder City we literally had 20 minutes which isn’t enough time for anything. All that to get back on the bus and get headed back to Treasure Island and the vents are blowing HOT AIR. A passenger up front is trying to get his attention but he won’t stop talking long enough to even notice. The passenger finally brings it to his attention and he says “yeah I don’t know what’s happening! We’ve had trouble with the AC on this one!” So admittedly the AC is faulty on this bus. It’s almost 90 degrees out and we have the entire ride back with hot air blowing in our faces. I was absolutely sick by the time we got back. Really disappointing and I expect some sort of compensation for the AC not working. If I had known that on the front end I would NOT have taken this tour. THE LACK OF FOLLOW UP FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE IS UNNACCEPTABLE. ESPECIALLY REGARDING THE BROKEN AIR CONDITIONING ON THE BUS THAT THEY WERE ALREADY HAVING PROBLEMS WITH. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Robert gave a great tour. It was worth the time and money would do another tour next time we visit.
Overall we enjoyed the tiur. However, after we left the dam and went on top of the mountain on the Arizona side, we exited the bus. When we were ready to board, the door was already open with the bus running. After taking our seats, a male with what appears to be special needs started playing with the bus controls. He honked the horn, got on the microphone, and sat in the driver's seat. I was terrified that he would figure out how to put the bus in gear and thought we'd go right over the railing. Just as I told my son to get off the bus, his family appeared at the door and got him to go to his seat. He kept saying "I did it, did you see me". The bus should have never been left running and unattended. Things could have taken a bad turn.
We did the Hoover Dam highlights tour that also included stops at the Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and a quick stop at Boulder City. Our guide, Robert, was awesome. He’s so full of knowledge about Hoover Dam history, Boulder city & all things Vegas. I highly recommend our guide! The bus ride was comfortable and with Robert talking about history and fun facts, it made the ride enjoyable. Total time we had to walk and roam the Hoover dam was about 1 hour 10 minutes. It was plenty of time. You could buy extra ticket to tour the inside generators but we didn’t do it. The facility also has a cafe and gift shop. The tour price is very reasonable as well. Our family really enjoyed the day. We were picked up at 10 AM (TI) and back to same pick up spot by 3:30 PM Lunch is not included but the 30 minute stop in Boulder city was enough time for us to pick up a quick bite to eat from 2:30-3:00PM. Tour guide provided water bottles and there was a bathroom on board as well.
The Hoover Dam is truly an incredible, massive marvel to see in person. My girlfriend and I got this experience through Go City, and it was my favorite use of it! We upgraded to the Power Plant tour, which, as a general nerd, was the highlight of the whole experience for me. Shoutout to our driver and tour guide, Robert, for being entertaining and a *very* good bus driver (he said he has 6 million miles under his belt. That might have been the most impressive fact of the whole tour!). Pickup was just before 10a, and we got back by 4p. We had just enough time for the power plant tour and to walk the dam, got a quick stop to view Lake Mead, and wrapped the day up in Boulder City.
FANTASTIC! Dan Armstrong was our bus driver/guide and he was great. He was very informative. We took the raft tour behind the dam and and Cordell was our guide. He was AMAZING! 10/10 recommend.
It was a great experience I had fun seeing all the views and they had cold water for us to drink to keep us hydrated i definitely rate it a 10/10

Tour guide was very informative and hilarious! This was such a great experience as it was our first time in Vegas! Thank you Robert
This is the best tour experience ever, and the driver skill is awesome,if we are available for join tour again, this is the only one choice
Excellent tour! It hit all the highlights and we were still back in Vegas for evening fun! The bus driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He also provided bottles of water throughout the trip. This tour was exactly what we were looking for.
Excellent description on the way with history and facts. Excellent and courteous driver, Dan Armstrong! We were given very good directions on the timing and the generator tour took a bit longer than expected due to the Memorial Day crowds. He waited for us and we were the last ones on the bus back. He still greeted us and clapped.
The BEST tour of my life!! Dan Armstrong was our wonderful driver & guide who helped us learn so much. His knowledge and kindness made a good experience into a GREAT one that I will never forget! He was very knowledgeable about all of the tours that the National Park Express and about all things between the dam and Vegas! Incredible experience thanks to Dan!!
This tour had a few bright spots, but overall, the experience was disappointing. To start, we were delayed by 13 minutes waiting for a no-show guest, which felt like wasted time. Our tour guide had a tendency to dominate the entire experience with constant talking—often making awkward jokes and laughing at himself—while steering the conversation back to stories about himself or his family. It became more about him than the dam, which took away from the purpose of the tour. When we arrived at Hoover Dam, we were told what time to be back at the bus. However, we hadn’t even finished the generator room tour by that time. This created a sense of anxiety and caused us to rush through what should have been the main highlight—walking on the dam itself. We didn’t have time for a proper bathroom break or even a quick look in the gift shop. We then made a stop in Boulder City. The guide said he’d allow us 30 minutes to explore (despite not being paid by the hour), but immediately followed that by telling us to be back in 24 minutes. It was confusing and frustrating. That said, the guide was a very skilled and safe driver, which we appreciated, especially on the winding desert roads. He also provided cold bottles of water, which was a thoughtful touch in the heat. Overall, while there were a couple of positives, the tour felt rushed, unbalanced, and not well managed. Wouldn’t recommend.
Wayne was an excellent tour guide! Wayne had a lot of information about the city! Will definitely recommend him and his tour!
Mr. Paul was super nice and very funny in the way he explained the whole experience to us. Very entertaining and definitely something I’ll recommend to friends and family.
What a great experience!! Informative tour guide Paul, amazing sights at the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, and the Memorial Bridge. A surprise stop in Boulder City was the icing on the cake! Highly recommended to take a break from the Vegas casino craziness!
Paulie is an AMAZING tour guide and driver! We had a great experience, such a beautiful tour of the Hoover Dam, the bridge and Boulder City. Paulie deserves a raise since he represents the tour company at its highest level. Very professional! Thank you Paulie!
Paulie was great! He shared a ton of cool details about the area. He had funny little notes to add and made it a truly enjoyable experience!
the tour schedule was very compact organized, after the generator tour, I did ot enouph time to walk on hoover dam I run all the time, but still could not make it, as my bus gone without warning me. So the tour was really very informative and interesting, but the time slots you ahve to organize better. First of all you should organize the tour not 10am but 8am in Hoover Dam itself after the generator tour, people should have at least 45 minutes to walk on it and make some pictures. And also you should give enough time for people walking the memorial bridge ... the rest was ok. I think at latest at 2:30pm people should arrive at their hotels.
Really enjoyed the tour, this was a bucket list item for me. The guide James did a great job managing our time and getting us some fun and interesting facts about the damn.
James the tour was nice. But after being badgered in writing , verbally. Time and time again to leave a tip. It ruined the trip. I hate being harassed to leave a tip. I will never ever never use a company that threatens me for a certain amount tip. I will let the hotel know there gangsters. .
We had Tony as our tour guide and he was amazing. I was here with my parents and partner for my 21st birthday and he even sang to me. The tour was lots of fun and informative with many stops. You can tell Tony really enjoys what he does and I highly recommend this tour.
Excellent experience, the guide Robert was very kind the whole way.
Dan was the best, a hug for him.
