Julia at River Dogz was absolutely amazing! We did a hiking tour through Valley of Fire, and she made the experience so much more than just a scenic hike. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the environment, shrubbery, wildlife, and the history of the area, which made us appreciate the landscape on a completely different level. You can truly tell how passionate she is about nature, especially the rocks and geological formations throughout Valley of Fire. Her excitement and knowledge were contagious, and she pointed out so many fascinating details that we never would have noticed on our own. What could have been “just a pretty view” became such an educational and memorable experience because of her. She was also so friendly, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about what she does. One of the best surprises was that she took photos for us throughout the hike, which allowed us to stay present, enjoy the moment, and truly take in the beauty around us without constantly worrying about getting pictures. Without Julia’s guidance, I would have seen beautiful scenery, but I wouldn’t have actually learned and connected with the environment the way we did. She elevated the entire experience, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a memorable and meaningful tour with River Dogz!

I went with my teen son and we had an amazing time! Julia was very knowledgeable and was a wonderful guide.
Perfect day perfect host, very accommodating. Took a ton of photos and experienced an amazing sandstone wonderland. Beautiful park. Everywhere you turned there were petroglyphs and great trails.
Andrea was a phenomenal guide on our hiking adventure. Highly recommend Trail Dogz. We had a great day and would definitely use them again.

My friend and I did the half day Valley of Fire hiking tour. Our guide was Brett! Highly recommend for those who want to get away from the busy Las Vegas strip and enjoy being in nature. Beautiful scenery and we got to see all types of animals! The tour provided snacks and plenty of water. My friend and I had a big breakfast before our hike and we were good for the day! :)
The hike of the Valley of Fire was beautiful. Our small group of 5 had a great time and learned a lot about the valley through our guide’s knowledge. Michelle, our guide, was awesome. Should we visit Vegas again I will be sure to find another activity through this company.
Amazing day in the Valley of Fire. Very suggested to everybody. Michelle guide you and show you Every plant and rocks. Thank you
We loved the tour - it was way better than visit the park by ourself’s! Snacks & drinks where included :)
The half day Valley of Fire tour was spectacular with beautiful Scenery. We were the only 2 on the tour so we got even more personalized. Edgar from River Dogz did a great job of driving and pointing out key points of interest. He also picked a great spot for lunch outside the park near running water and palm trees. We certainly would recommend this tour
My wife and I spent the day with Michelle touring the Valley of Fire . She was phenomenal! Very friendly and full of information about the park and Las Vegas. The park was otherworldly! A stunning place on many levels. It was an easy drive from the strip and well worth the cost. I had several conversations with Matthew setting it up and he was courteous and welcoming. I would highly recommend this group for an adventure outside the Vegas casino mayhem!
Great trip! Our guide was super friendly and knowledgable! The park was beautiful and had varying landscapes.
Our gentleman picked us up curbside in Vegas and an hour later we found ourselves learning, hiking, gently climbing. Wear your best non-skid shoes and bring a spirit of adventure. The tour is called “Half Day Photo Tour” and we were alone with our guide, likely due to holiday. God’s creation spread out magnificent my before us, changing reds/golds & flame colors until sunset. The tour was far ranging covering desert, across to Lake Mead area and several box canyons and monuments. He brings water and mild assistance. It’s not for disabled folks.
Tour cancelled as not enough signed up for it. Tour Guide kept in contact and tried to make it work but to no avail.
My husband and I went on this tour Monday and had an incredible time! Definitely work it! Andrea, our guide, was amazing!!!!!! From the time we were picked up on time at our hotel, until the moment we were dropped off we had so much fun! Next year we will be looking for another tour through River Dogz!
We had a great time with our guide Edgar from Trail dogz . Not having a lot of trekking experience was not a concern. Edgar taught us a bunch of stuff about fauna , flora as well as the sport itself .
Andrea, our guide was wonderful! My sister and I had a personal tour with her and loved it. We were grateful that they didn't cancel because it was just the two of us. It was an amazing day with great weather, lots of wonderful sights and outdoor exercise (not very extreme). So nice to get out of the city and see this unique landscape. Thank you and best wishes Andrea!!
Reid, our tour guide today, did an outstanding job in showing us different trails with fantastic vista and quite knowledgeable with the history of the region, the rock formation, flora, and served a great lunch..lol. Well worth for the two take the tour
