Mini Baja Chase Dune Buggy Adventure In Las Vegas

We had an absolute blast! Brad was our guide and was helpful, friendly and showed us a great time. My 10 year old was with us and it was a great experience for him. Fun and safe!

Second time there. This time did the dune buggy. So much fun.

My son and I did the dune buggy chase in Vegas. It was so much fun!!! Degan was our guide and dude was totally cool. Our cart was the only survivor of the 1 hour chase. There was one other couple with us and their steering broke....another buggy was immediately brought out for them with no delays. Degan's buggy lost a wheel at the end of the ride.. ..LOL. it was comical. The terrain is the real deal so you can imagine the buggies get used hard but they keep them in great running condition. It was alot of fun and we will definitely do it again!!! Mike picked us up from our hotel on time and even called me earlier that morning to confirm our pick up time. He was super cool and had us all laughing to and from the hotel. Great experience for my son and I!!!! Definitely give these guys 5 stars all the way around!!!!! Jeff M. Alexandria Va

Best thing we did in Vegas! We want to go back to do a night time adventure. All of the staff were excellent! Highly recommend doing at least 1 hour mini Baja chase. You won’t regret it!

The actual dunenbuggy experiences was good but the transfer from hotel was TERRIFYING!!!! Heading back to the hotel we were transferred in a very decrepit van. It felt off from the beginning and as we were going down the highway in the fast lane a tire blew! It was extremely scary as we were stuck on the meridian. Mike the driver did do a good job at controlling the van and got it to stop without losing control. We then waited for 45 minutes for another van to come and assist with 'change of tire"...for some reason they did not pick us up in that van and at this point we were standing on the side of the meridian in 5 lanes of traffic!! it was extremely dangerous and very scary for our group. I took it upon myself to call the police to get assistance to help with traffic control so that we didn't get HIT! Once the tire was fixed they loaded us back in the SAME VAN! At this point Mike the driver proceeds to tell us that he has been complaining to the company that the van needed new tires and he KNEW that this was going to happen. TERRIBLE So they put us and their employees at risk. I have tried numerous times to contact the company and they are NOT answering my calls. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND and defiantly would not get picked up by this company. Extremely irresponsible and unprofessional and DANGEROUS DO NOT USE

Love it. Mike our van driver was the greatest. Very helpful and very entertaining. Tony our tour guide on the ride was very in tune to our families needs. Going fast when we wanted to, and slowing down when my 6 year old got nervous. All together the whole experience was great. Thanks everyone for making our Las Vegas experience a memorable one for our Louisiana family.

My wife, our friend, and I were in Vegas ealier this month and we did the 1 hour Baja Chase with dune buggies. It was easily the most fun thing we did while we were in town. The guide, Jocelyn, was a good driver and knew the area well. When they say you can go fast they actually mean it. We were going full throttle through the dunes and desert. It was amazing! That said, there were a handful of negatives. The buggies themselves get used hard driving in that harsh terrain so there might be some technical issues. The guides are great about getting them working out though. You should absolutely wear gloves and a buff. There were some small issues with transport to and from the office and desert area and our hotel. It wasn't a big deal, but didn't seem super professional. Also, make sure to get a confirmation email when you book directly on their website. On the other hand, I enjoyed the more laidback atmosphere and culture. It felt like they really cared about the driving experience and put more of their energy into delivering that experience than other areas of the business. Overall, it's an expensive excursion. But, if you like exciting driving and don't mind a few hiccups and getting dirty, I would absolutely recommend giving this a try.

This experience from beginning to end was absolutely amazing! My 10-year-old nephew and I did it together and we had the best time. From the pick up to the drop off and everything in between. Our Guide, Charley, went above and beyond to make sure my nephew and I had the best experience. I cannot say enough positives about this tour.

We had an amazing experience with SunBuggy! Larry picked us up on the shuttle at the valet area in front of our hotel. He also fitted us for helmets and was so nice. My family with two teens rented dune buggies and rode two per buggy. Karma was our guide and she was awesome! She went over safety measures, explained the details of how the excursion would go, was considerate of me not wanting to speed race, and knew the quirks and qualities of each buggy well. She’s been driving on these dunes since she was a teen, which made us trust her even more. It was such a thrill and one of the most fun experiences we have had!

Terms Patricia Alessi 3 reviews 5 days ago New On January 5, I was contacted by Scott Bradford, asking for our (my family's and my) experience with our Mini-Baja X (60 min) Sun Buggy experience, on Dec 29, 2025. ( reservation # 236159 ) When my daughter booked the activity, she was given an 8 am reservation. We arrived at 7:45 am. Even though all our paperwork had been signed ahead of time, we assumed we’d need to be there earlier for set-up; helmets and instructions. We sat in the waiting room until 10 am while other groups arrived intermittently, mostly by shuttle, up until 10 am. The only staff member who spoke to us was the one who fitted us for our helmets. Obviously, we were frustrated with the long wait and didn’t understand why “our” reservation was delayed to accommodate all the later reservations. Why were we not shuttled to the trails for our early reserved time? One couple, arrived at 10 am and conveniently for them, they were added to our group shuttle and ride. During our long wait, not one staff member made an effort to talk to us nor apologize for the inconvenience. Once we were on the trail, my husband's buggy broke down and we sat there for another 25 minutes while a replacement buggy arrived. We do understand that sometimes these things do happen, but, our guide did not hide the fact that he was "put out” by the situation. When I communicated this to Scott, rather than acknowledging the frustrations of our experience, he said it was normal for an 8 am reservation to start "just after 9 am". Furthermore, he made excuses for his staff. He expressed that his staff wanted to be with their families during the holiday season and that the company had to "make due" with the staff at hand. Then he thanked me for my perspective and said he "really appreciated my detailed feedback". Seriously? So much for customer satisfaction. No apologies, no blame on the part of the company for the long delay, nor of the staff's behavior while we sat there for 2:15 hours. And even though the experience with the guide was so-so, I left him a $25 tip, because it was the right thing to do. I wrote back to Scott a second time, expressing my frustration over his lack of concern for our experience. He did not write back. I’m very disappointed that our experience was ignored. A reputable company would have compensated in some way. Scott did not respond to my second email, I called 702-644-2855 twice. On the first call I spoke one staff member, explaining the situation and hoping to reach a higher-up manager of Sun Buggy. I never heard back. The second time I called, the staff member did follow through, and notified Max- Billng Manager, who did get back to me. I asked for him to consider a fair refund for our experience. Once again, no response. It is clear that neither Communication nor Customer Satisfaction are priorities with Sun Buggy. I am extremely disgruntled after spending $1200, and reaching out with calls and emails, that I am being ignored. I was hoping for some resolution.

Definitely take the shuttle. Mike the driver is the best. He made the experience 10X better with his great attitude and comedy. Everyone was great but Mike really stuck out as a great representative of their business. Thank to everyone especially MIKE!!!!!!!

We booked a 2 hour chase. That was super fun. Our leader , Shane , was very alert to our driving skills. He checked on us more often in the beginning of the chase which made us feel safe. Towards the end of the chase we where getting the hang of the dune buggy’s and Shane offered to step up the chase a little if we wanted. We did. It was a blast. Next time I’m in Las Vegas we are gonna find Shane and do it again.

Guide was awesome, fun and safe. Would definitely do it again. Pickup at the hotel was on time and an added bonus. We did the dune buggies, they were a blast.

We were a family of four (Baltimore Area) on Monday, February 9. We traveled with our son and daughter. And had such a great time!!!! Great Family Experience We had an amazing experience with our tour and reservation. Our driver of the excursion van B…..Mike was amazing and hysterical and told us about many local activities that we could inquire about after our tour with sun buggy. At the reception area, we were greeted kindly and were informed of rules regulations and treated amazing. Free bottles of water we’re offered to our entire party Our tour guide Charles was absolutely amazing. Fun attitude and was extremely friendly. We just had an amazing time. Charles was great.! TY ALL

Mike, our transport safety driver, was awesome! Picked us up on time and gave us an entertaining drive to the shop from our hotel. He made us feel welcome and prepped us for a great adventure. Great people! from the friendly receptionist to Mike the hilarious shuttle bus driver to Jeb the helpful guide and Charlie on top of it all. My son and I had a blast.

The experience started off great, but abruptly ended due to unexpected injuries from the steering wheel. Sun Buggy staff were absolutely incredible and attentive to my needs especially our transportation driver, Mike. The terrain is very rough and NOT typical ATVing that I have experienced in the past. I highly recommend wearing protective gloves during the experience. For the price and ruggedness of the experience, gloves should be provided or heavily encouraged. Also, more education on how to properly operate the buggy i.e. how to properly hold the steering wheel while navigating the rough terrain to reduce the risk of injury to one’s fingers.

Shane, Terry, and Tony were great! Much different than driving a sxs but so much fun. I’d highly recommend this tour. We could go as fast as we desired and felt comfortable with. Great job sunbuggy!

Took the over 21 kids to Vegas and decided we needed to spend some time outside the casinos! The dune buggies were highly recommended - the driver that picked us up the hotel was fantastic and so funny. The training video was informative and the staff on site was very helpful in getting helmets and goggles adjusted. Our mini Chase guide was Charlie and he was the best! He kept an eye on everybody and made it even more fun. It is definitely a bumpy ride - more rocks than I thought but overall we had a great time

Family with 3 teenage boys, 1 of which drove. It was tons of fun and very safe. Very very bumpy. Mom (who every fit) drive for 5 minutes and had to switch drivers. Everyone else had a blast. Mom had fun once she was a passenger.

Worth it! Great experience from the shuttle bus pickup until the end. Hilarious driver, some use of foul language, but that just added to the fun energy! He was prompt and had given us clear directions on where to meet at our hotel, Aria. Upon arrival at the training facility, we were greeted by a friendly host whom offered us bottled water and led us to a viewing room to watch dune buggy rules. A short 15 minutes later, we were shuttled to the Nellis Dunes where we were greeted by our instructors. Charles (Charlie) was assigned to my family, and he was wonderful! Great personality, full of energy, passion, and knowledge. We felt safe with him, especially since this was our very first time doing this kind of excursion. We drove through soft sand, rocky terrain, slopes…etc. It was sooo exhilarating! At one point, my son had accidentally veered off course and was hesitant to go back up through the soft sand. We didn’t want to get stuck, so we waited for Charlie. Not even two minutes later, he got us back on track and our fun continued! He allowed us to stop a couple of times for pictures and helped us take a family photo as well. If you’re hesitant to do this with your family, please don’t be. Charlie was wonderful. And as an added safety measure, one of his peers remained at the top of the dunes to oversee the excursion.

Great trip and ride for my son and myself. Full hour of fun cruising through the desert with our tour guide Charles. We split driving and was one of the top experiences of Vegas.

Epic!!!!!! I went from my 50th birthday with six of my friends and it was even better than when we went 10 years ago… Simply epic!

Mike picked us up right at our hotel - this was very convenient- the ride to the shop and back to our hotel was safe and great. Charlie our guide was awesome - he also took great photos for us for free. The ride was super fun and would totally do this again.

The operators aren’t professional at all! I scheduled for 11am & at 12:30 still had not been picked up by their transportation. Unfortunately I had other reservations later in the day that would be compromised by this delay & was told I wouldn’t be refunded if I couldn’t go with the later time! So they robbed me of almost $350 smh

We had high expectations and it did not disappoint. High energy fast paced fun. I was the first buggy and it was fast. I tried to keep up with the guide ATV. Twists and sharp turns, free donuts. Adrenaline was still pumping hours later.

Super fun. Black Mike communicated with us exactly where we needed to meet and was early picking us up. Handled the crazy roads like a champ and gave us some recommendations on other things to do. The sun buggy was fun but definitely a little sore after. Shane was our guide and made it super fun. Next time we are back we will book with them again but probably do ATVs for a new adventure.

This experience was great from beginning to end. We were initially greeted by Mike and he was a gem. He was so nice and funny and also served as the perfect tour guide pointing out fun activities to do during our stay. Such a great guy. Charlie was our buggy guide in the desert. He was amazing and helpful through our ride. Best guide ever! The entire staff was great. Highly recommend and look forward to returning in the future.

Very safe and enjoyable morning with Degen as our tour guide through the desert in dune buggies. Our entire group from young to old had a great time. Rick, our driver, drove us safely to and from the hotel and provided us with musical entertainment!! Thanks to all for making this such a fun day!

Awesome experience and recommending to families especially with boys. Our drive Michael called us in the morning, confirmed 9:50am pickup time right in front of our hotel, he saw my booking last night looks like an Asian lady, and told me on the phone that “Mam, you will expect to see a white van with sun buggy writing all over it, and just so you know, I’m a black man, don’t get scared of anything, I’m not a part of the Las Vegas cray stuff…..” he’s funny! And he arrived at our hotel at 9:51am, right on the dot for picking up. For some other low reviews, they are saying the shuttle is a bit run down, it’s true, but that’s not the driver’s fault. He does have some foul language coming out a a couple times, with a bunch of guys in the bus in Las Vegas, it happens, but he caught him self and said sorry to my young boy very quickly… next, the shuffle dropped us off at the center, we picked Helmut and got Goggles, and did the safety video, and then another shuttle drove us to the 15000 acres driving area in the desert. Our tour Guy Matt was awesome!!! He took lots of great pictures for us and keep us safe and hydrated all the way. Great experience!!!!! My son and husband loved it!!!!

Mike is amazing! Great communication and picked us up from our hotel on time and with the best energy! He greeted my daughter for her birthday and hyped us up for an amazing experience!
