We were lucky enough to get Israle as your tour gide. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, explained the whole history of Las Vegas, how it started and how it has transformed into what it is today. He referred that he was there to be our personal photographer. He was an extremely safe driver, and I felt safe at all times in his vehicle. The vehicle was a big Mercedes conversion van with high ceilings. He offered up plenty of free water and snacks. The tour starts at the Las Vegas sign, then a drive over to the Lake Mead overlook. Then you get to go on top of Memorial Bridge. Following a guided tour from the employees at the Hoover Dam. On the trip back from the dam, he brought us to this amazing park that was not listed on the itinerary. Where we were able to get another good look at Lake Mead and also see the wild bighorn goats. I would definitely recommend this excursion. On our tour we had a couple that did not speak a lot of English and he was able to use a translator app in their language so they could better understand all the information he was conveying.

Israel was super nice and knowledgeable during there whole trip! He made sure to stop at all the great view points and talk a little about everything!
They cancelled our first tour date due to operational issues. We rebooked for 2 days later. Gave us a pickup time of 9:55 - after waiting for 35 minutes we called and cancelled. Very unprofessional.
Our guide did a great job in English and Spanish! Good tour length. The water provided is important! Nice history of the area. Views were wonderful and the dam itself is very fun to learn about.
Literally the best guide I’ve ever had anywhere? He is incredibly knowledgeable. Incredibly friendly, very passionate about the information on his tour worth every penny.
It's a great trip. So others know, there is some walking involved, but we were ok with it. Views were awesome, our guide Isreal was fantastic, full of information/facts, funny at times, had snacks & water. He made the tour.
A great half day away from Las Vegas visiting the magnificent Hoover Dam & its surrounding area. Our guide Israel was knowledgeable & considerate.
Lots of fun & the host was amazing, informative, polite & took very good care of everyone in the group.
Excellent guide. Careful driver. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Awesome experience, will for sure recommend to friends and family.
Great small tour with getting to see all sides outside and inside of the dam. Plus the additional time from the bridge.
The dam and the bridge is interesting. Super hot - be ready for it. Israel kept us well topped up with water.
The actual Hoover Dam experience and the knowledge of the guide was outstanding. The only downside to our experience was that we were picked up one hour late after making multiple calls trying to find our driver.
Our guide, Israel, was fantastic! Very considerate of our wellbeing and comfort.
Excellent guide and well planned tour. One of the best experiences for tourists to Las Vegas. Guides in the dam were also well informed.
This was a great tour! Only suggestion would be to add option of doing full tour which takes you to lowest levels of dam. Israel, our tour guide, was exceptional - explaining history of the surrounding area and role played during construction of the dam. Also pointed out key items such as diversion tunnels etc. Would highly recommend this tour!
Israel was an excellent historian for the Hoover Dam experience. We really enjoyed being with him today.,
It was a bucket list item for me. The new bridge is also amazing. We did the power plant trip. I would like to go back and tour inside the dam.
Israel was the best!! The addition of seeing Mountain rams and ewes plus a roadrunner up close was a fantastic surprise! Having a local guide who spoke multiple languages was handy. I went solo with six other people on the tour and they were so nice.
This is an amazing 5 plus hours. Jam packed with interesting information. Our guide ( and I’m so sorry I forgot his name) was a fountain of knowledge with lots of facts and figures to impart to us. Myself and my 13yr old grandson took the tour and at no time was he bored (an achievement to keep a young teenager happy). We were supplied water and a few snacks and more substantial food is available in the visitor centre at the Hoover Dam. We saw all the welcome signs and had the obligatory photo stops. We crossed over into Arizona from the bridge so 2 states in 2 minutes, a fun thing. There can be quite a lot of walking, including steps, but ramps and elevators were available if needed. Needless to say I finished my day in excess of 15000 steps! If I could give 10 stars I would and wish I could remember our lovely guides name (originally from Toronto and studying in Nevada)
Exceptional Hoover Dam tour! USA West Tours' "Hoover Dam Full Experience" was outstanding. A great way to spend a half day in Las Vegas. Our tour guide, Israel, was knowledgeable, friendly, and great to spend a day with. Great trip with fun stops. The included breakfast was fantastic. All around, a great tour with our fantastic guide, Israel!
