Hoover Dam Small Group Tour From Las Vegas With Bbq-8am Or Sunset

Nice drive in 10-12 passenger air conditioned van. Guide (Zion), was friendly and accommodating. Just the right amount of commentary providing interesting facts and historical asides. A bit more walking at the Dam because he was not allowed to accompany us. Probably due to Hoover Dam official tours not allowing private outside tour guides. We had to walk across the dam to the Arizona side to meet the van after our self guided tour. It wasn’t far but anyone with accessibility issues should be made aware. Careful driver made stops to check out amazing vistas and views— lake Mead, long horned sheep at Hemenway park. BBQ lunch in old Las Vegas hit the spot after a morning of sightseeing. Definitely authentic delicious plate of food. Note you will also smell a bit Smokey since the meat is smoked in-house lol. Pick up and drop off is customized as needed so pickup time of 8:00 at Treasure Island is approximate and drop off times depend on where people stay. Highly recommended. Zion took great care of us.

The tour guide was great full of knowledge and he was fun kept things entertaining. Gave us clear instructions on where to meet up after dropping us off so we could walk the entire dam.

This trip was great. Best way to go to Hoover Dam. BBQ food was delicious - will go back there. Zion was a great host. His driving was good, always felt safe. He had interesting facts and really tried to ensure we all had a good time. Sadly, the flag was not at the dam, but it was still a beautiful scene at night.

This was a great tour. Zion was a wonderful guide. We enjoyed it. Perfect length of time , not too long.

Dinner was good. Driver, Zion, was entertaining and thoughtful. The only negative was that the flag wasn’t on Hoover Dam but that wasn’t the tours fault.

This was a 5 out of 5 experience for our family. The Hoover Dam is even more impressive in person, and the tour made it fun and educational for both adults and kids. Our guide was great at explaining everything in a way that kept everyone interested. It was a perfect half-day trip from Vegas and something we’ll definitely remember.

Perfect amount of time to travel to and from dam. Mike is a gracious and clear tour guide- WELL informed on history and development of towns, the impact of the railroad and hardship of constructing the dam. From start to finish fresh dialogue not scripted. At the end he took us to where big horn sheep were grazing! Would highly recommended!

Vegas Mike was great. Went above and beyond for our tour group. I would recommend to book and if you can get in Mikes tour very knowledgeable super friendly. He even made sure to show us the desert long horn sheep!!! Very cool experience!!

My husband and I took the private tour of the Hoover Dam electric plant with Malachi. We were picked up at our hotel, stopped for coffee and brought to many places at the Dam. We then took a tour of the electric plant. Malachi was very knowledgeable and personable. We also had a surprise visit to the Pawn Stars shop on the way back to our hotel. It was a very nice day!

This was an amazing day tour and Alfonso made this the best day tour we have ever taken. Alfonso was so attentive and knowledgable. I cannot say enough about him. He was just amazing. I would highly recommend this tour and if Alfonso is your guide is will be absolutely amazing !!
