Hoover Dam Sightseeing Cruise On Lake Mead

Beautiful views and interesting narration knowledge. Right up to the front of the dam with perfect views. Snacks and hotdogs were on board.

The narration was full of historical interesting information as to how the area was formed to the building of the Hoover Dam. An easy paced tour. Some driving on dirt before the pier.

My wife and I took our daughter and granddaughter, 4 years old, on this tour. The online purchase was easy and fast. The tour itself was very well run and informative. My entire family enjoyed the trip and the staff was so friendly.

It was very relaxing and the guide was very knowledgeable. The staff both in the gift shop and on the boat were amazing!

It was great and would definitely do it! The view was incredible and the atmosphere was amazing! Food and Drink selection was good and price was reasonable! Especially the price for water was very reasonable!! lol

The cruise was nice. It was cool to see the dam from the water. Most of the time is spent cruising the lake. You only have a small time when you can see the dam.

Relaxing trip to the Hoover Dam. Informational. Perfect amount of time spent on excursion. Very knowledgeable and helpful crew. A photo taken upon boarding where your able to purchase for 10.00.

We didn't get the chance to go. First the boat was down for repairs so had to change dates, then it was to windy to take it out. But they were very nice to work with and we received a full refund. We may have to try on another visit to Vegas.

Nice boat ride. Very friendly staff. Good narratives about Hoover Dam and Lake Mead if you are outside of the cabin and can hear it. Wish they didn’t play music on the return to dock. The quiet while looking at the wonderful view would have been nice.

You have to get a boarding pass before getting on the boat. Even if you have a digital ticket. Were here early but because we didn't stop and get a paper pass,we had to move to the back of line and no seats were available outside. Poor communication and those directions should be on the digital ticket. Booked this trip about a month ago.

It was a beautiful day on Lake Meade, staff were fantastic, the bartender needed additional help taking food and drink orders. I stood in line for 25 minutes to order food

It was a great experience but the voice over narration is annoying and unnecessary. The music choice was spotty.

Great trip with an informative background to the history. Refreshments good & staff very helpful on the trip & in the shop. Make sure to book your return taxi on arrival location difficult to find.

This was a nice relaxing narrative/informative boat ride on Lake Meade to tour the Hoover Dam. It was such a beautiful scenery.

This was a very pleasant little booze cruise. There are drinks and food to purchase during the 1.5 hour trip. The prices were about what one would expect to pay without feeling gouged. The staff is very friendly and tries to keep everyone comfortable. If you are looking for a pleasant whiling away of an afternoon and some light tourist shopping, this will be your sweet spot. They do a recording of information about Lake Mead and the Dam, but it's hard to hear it over people chatting. This isn't a 'learn and explore' tour. This isn't a 'deep dive' tour. It's a booze cruise on a cool little paddle boat. Enjoy the weather, the water, the scenery. If you really want to learn about the Dam or see it close up, you'll be disappointed. If you want to relax and take in what's left of Lake Mead, you'll be pleased.

It was an amazing trip. My husband and I took my sister and brother in law for a fun outing and it truly was. Great staff friendly and responsive to the needs of the passengers. Gift shop was really cute with a free shot glass if you buy a drink on the boat. Scenery was beautiful. My only wish was that there was an actual person who shared facts and history about lake mead and the dam. The audio they use was low and hard to hear.

Very relaxing. We learned a lot of history about Lake Mead, The Hoover Dam, and the surrounding area. The crew were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this adventure for anyone(maybe not infants and toddlers).

This cruise was a last minute decision and I'm glad we did it. The cruse was relaxing and informative. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall a great experience.

It was absolutely awful communication with the staff to find their location. We took an Uber from Las Vegas. I called the day before to make sure we had the correct address for Uber, rude on the phone. The directions they told us put us in Boulder City, 6 miles away. We contacted them and the location they told us still was not where the boat was located. It is down a winding dirt road with no signs to find them. When we told them our dilemma with locating them, very rude and unapologetic. The boat ride was very nice but the experience getting there was a nightmare. Good Luck getting an Uber to find you to get you back!

Fun and informative. We decided to do this cruise to celebrate our 31st anniversary. We had fun and the crew made it special by congratulating us

Very nice to do once. Leisurely. The only downside was the choice of music was very loud + inescapable... Playing in every single level and outside on the decks. The channel was not our taste is it was blaring a heavy Rock channel (AC/DC style). For the nature of the 85 percent+ older people who were on it, recommend at least one area that doesn't have loud music and choose a less rock station. We had to use ear plugs throughout. Otherwise it's a great way to see the lake and the back of the Hoover dam.

Peaceful and interesting cruise with great views of the Hoover Dam. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.

Scheduled our tour for a Tuesday at 1pm. The tour was not crowded at all, and the parking was close to the entry of the dock. This was the best way to see the Dam. The view was amazing, and a prerecorded guide entertains you with facts as you cruise along the water.

Very easy to find. Enjoyable boat ride with amazing views. Would definitely recommend this and do it when in Las Vegas again.

Quick trip out to see the dam and bridge and back. Unique vantage point. Staff was friendly and snacks/food was affordable and good.

The cruise was fun and educational with some good views of the mountains and hover Dam. Drinks souvenirs, and cruise is resonably priced.

Booked this event twice and each time cancelled by the venue vendor. Very disappointing because we set aside time for the cruise

We made a last minute reservation and are so happy we did! The cruise was great. We went with 3 adults and 1 kiddo and all of us had a fun experience. The boat ride is smooth and it was really cool to see everything from the water and learn about the history of the area. The food on board was affordable and yummy. Definitely recommend this tour if you’re traveling to the area!
