We had an absolutely wonderful time on our kayaking experience in Las Vegas and our tour guide made the experience truly exceptional! He was incredibly accommodating, personable, and knowledgeable, making us feel comfortable and welcome from start to finish. His friendly personality, passion, and willingness to share his knowledge, made the entire trip, both enjoyable and memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. We are so grateful for the amazing experience and highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, memorable, and well guided adventure thank you for making our trip so special! We would definitely do it again! PS, it was so refreshing to spend the day with someone who clearly loves his job and takes a great deal of pride in what he does.
What an amazing day! This was the highlight of our trip to Vegas and a wonderful change of pace from the busy Vegas scene. Las Vegas SUP Kayak club did a great job of making the whole experience easy from beginning to end. Their communication before the trip was so appreciated and our tour guide, Kwame, on the day of our tour was fantastic. He went out of his way to make sure our experience was memorable. It definitely lives up to what’s listed in their description of the tour. 10/10 recommend. We did the full day tour which was 12 miles of kayaking. Although it could be considered challenging by many, Kwame did a great job of giving us breaks and providing us with plenty of cold water, a healthy lunch and snacks. Kwame and the company’s co-owner, Bali, took care of all the transportation and getting kayaks in and out of the water. They were both a hoot. Honestly don’t have a single negative thing to say about our experience!
This was an amazing ‘off the grid’ day! Our guide, Robby, was amazing! He tailored the pace to all members of the group. He created a truly immersive experience with the beautiful Colorado River valley! He selected ideal stopping points with the most beautiful views and fun climbs through hot springs. He was an encyclopedia of knowledge about the native fauna and flora! His personality was engaging and fun!! Highly recommend!!
We had a fantastic day on the Colorado River kayaking from the Hoover Dam to Willow Beach. Our guide Xander was beyond fantastic! He didn’t force conversations and seemed to sense when it was time to be quiet and let the river and canyon do the speaking with the incredible views. Bonus was his playing his native flute! His playing echoed off the water and canyons walls. It was truly magical!
Great trip, great guides! We did not have to paddle against the wind & I don’t think I could have done the 12 mile paddle if it was! So grateful for the experience . Gorgeous water color and great experience being so close to the dam kayaking.
Xander was an amazing guide and we had the best day! We got to visit several hot springs, waterfalls, caves and see wildlife. The water was beautiful. Bring your strong arms!
Amazing tour. Bobby was the bet guide! Very knowledgeable. The site where beautiful. We had so much fun!
Robby was great, enjoyed all the information and stories. Beautiful day with several stops.
It was so much fun! The wind was in our face the entire time making the kayak super challenging. I am always up for a good challenge. Robby was an awesome guide. He was super knowledgeable, helpful and respectful. We did the Hoover Dam tour the day before. This trip brought the information full circle learning about the lower river and the worker that measured the river before building the Dam. The hot springs were awesome and the emerald caves were awesome. The beach lunch was great! It was so much fun and will be a must do on every trip to Vegas. I will recommend it for sure! One thing I would love to see is less single use plastic. I am not sure if it is feasible, however it would be cool if you offered a BYOB (Bring your own Bottle) or 10 dollar or 20 dollar up charge for a souvenir reusable water bottle that can be refilled. Just a suggestion, thanks for the unforgettable experience!
This was a fantastic trip! Great scrambling and very cool hot springs. The trip leader (Robby) was very friendly, knowlegeable and entertaining. We would do this trip again in a heartbeat!!! I highly recommend
Absolutely one of the best experiences of my life. Worth every penny. Our guide Robbie was phenomenal
Beautiful scenery on the river! Really glad we had Zoltan, Bali, and Aaron helping us out!
supper fun, nice river. The hotsprings are really cool. Water very clear pretty.
The canyon is amazing, it’s such a unique and amazing experience! Zoltan and Bali we’re so helpful in helping us load and get ready to head into the river!
amazing zoltan and bali were amazing guides and made the trip amazing
Had a great experience, really enjoyed myself out on the river. They were very helpful in helping us load our gear and then helping us launch onto the river, couldn't have done it without them.
I had a great time, and received a lot of help! lots of great views of the Hoover Dam and of the Colorado river.
Everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our group had an amazing week on the river!!
Really efficient people - helped us launch our 20+ boats and rafts within 30 mins. These guys are experts at what they do.
Amazing adventure! Zoltan and Bali were outstanding. They were knowledgeable and professional and helped support our group!
Super nice and helpful with our group of 40 people
I had an incredible time on this Hoover Dam tour! The day went by so fast because the itinerary was perfectly planned. We made stops almost every hour to admire the stunning natural scenery, which made the whole trip very comfortable. Since we got out of the van frequently to stretch our legs and take in the views, it never felt like we were sitting for too long. Our guide, Robbie, was outstanding. He really knows his stuff and shared fascinating information and history about every spot we visited. As an added bonus, he is a professional photographer! He helped us capture some amazing shots throughout the day. If you're looking for a comfortable, informative, and fun tour, I highly recommend booking this one. Thanks, Robbie, for a memorable experience!
I've been very lucky to have visited and done a lot of cool things in the US and out of the country. This tour is in my top 10 things. Our guide Robbie was awesome! He was helpful, knowledgeable and made the tour a fabulous time!
Absolutely fabulous day. The peace and beauty of the river was a very welcome break from Vegas. Our guide, Robby, was wonderful - he couldn't do enough to help us and was extremely knowledgeable about the area - a joy to spend the day with.
After making our booking we were contacted by the provider asking if we could move our booking from the Monday to the Tuesday, as we had other activities booked this was not convenient. we paid an additional $127.20 national park launching fee directly to this operator (Las Vegas SUP Kayak Club). However, we were contacted the day before our booking to say that due to the weather we would not be able to go on the Monday but could rearrange for the Tuesday (despite the weather forecast on the Met Office saying the opposite). And also, very coincidental given they had tried to rearrange our trip the week before!! Rather than reply via txt my wife phoned the provider , who proceeded to tell her that the additional National park fee was NON REFUNDABLE. something we had not been advised of at time of booking / Paying the additional fee directly to Las Vegas SUP Kayak club. At the end of the conversation the person we spoke to said it has been an oversight by an employee and that they would refund the money and because of this they would refund the money the following day. As they had been in business for 10 years and held themselves up to high customer service levels . Unfortunately, this good will was not very long lasting as the following day we received a txt saying that the National park do not refund monies paid. despite a number of follow up messages this company have GONE BACK ON THEIR WORD and have not refunded our $127.20. This is extremely disappointing and has soured our trip to Las Vegas. anyone reading PLEASE AVOID ''LAS VEGAS SUP KAYAK CLUB'' They do not care about customer service and are prepared to lie to customers .
This was a really great experience from start to finish. Communication was great, the provided transportation made it easy if you don't have a car. The guide, Juston, was informative and friendly; and, he was patient with us (he was half our age, so we weren't as fast). It was really a perfect day. When would you ever get to see the Hoover Damn from the base in the Colorado River; during this trip is when...
It was so much fun!! Truly enjoyed all the knowledge about the area!! The scenery was beautiful! Our guide Robbie made it so much fun!!
Viator did not impress me, they attempted to have me change the date of my previously booked excursion the day before I boarded the plane for my vacation. I had booked and paid them 10 days prior. I had my vacation plans all in order and the reason they wanted to cancel me I was told was because I was doing the trip solo and they only wanted couples for that day. They asked that I cancel my booking, and rebook with their sister company Blazin Paddles as I was leaving to board my flight. Very unprofessional and placing their problem on me to fix. I was not agreeable or able to do that. They then charged me an additional $30 and made the arrangements for me. They required that I take an Uber to another hotel the day of pick up, never checking with the sister company who actually had pick ups the next hotel over in less than a 5 minute walk. This was an additional $27 in an uber fair plus a $5 tip for the driver, not to mention additional time and stress to get clear to the far end of the strip, and required their sister company to go out of their way needlessly to pick me up at greater expense and time for everyone. That said once I was in the hands of blazin paddles I was treated more than kindly. They dropped me off right at my hotel on the return trip home, saving me the additional expense of a needless uber ride, they provided a very knowledgeable guide of the area who made sure that we were well taken care of, with food, snacks, water, and safety. He assisted anyone that needed additional help and time so that the trip was truly a group effort. It was so beautiful and I was so glad that I went. I have not one complaint about the tour itself. The wait for emerald cove was too long and we did skip it as several other kayaking companies were in a lineup already, which was fine by me even though I had wanted a picture there, and part of why I booked the trip, but truthfully as the guide pointed out the water had the same green color and made for beautiful pictures right where we were at without the 2 hour wait in that line up. This was definitely my favorite excursion of my vacation to Las Vegas where I did many different events, experiences, and travel to the local beauty of the surrounding areas.
The tour was nice and physically challenging. The host provides snacks and sandwiches throughout the tour. He asked us prior to the tour what are our dietary restrictions which i advised i am a pescatarian. That was a waste of my time because all they provided was turkey and ham sandwiches. I find it inconsiderate and since i was famished during the tour, i had to remove the ham from the sandwich and eat the sandwich which made me sick that night.
Had an amazing time with some breath taking views. Our guide Kwame was great and knowledgeable of the history of the area and was very helpful during the hikes and climbs so we could complete them safely. Some of the spots during the hikes were a bit challenging with climbing the rocks with a rope but the challenge made it so much more fun and rewarding. Definitely was an awesome experience and will be recommending it to friends.
Very cool experience, our tour guide was Dave and he was awesome! Very kind, helped take pictures, very knowledgeable!
Don't go on a windy day!! It takes away from the trip. 12 miles and not a lot to see. Take the shorter trip.
Great time. Very awesome experience. Lots of info given. Hot Springs are awesome even when the temps are 100 degrees outside
Xander was great. Would definitely recommend if kayaking is your thing. Definitely bring a hat, sun glasses, sunscreen and water shoes that can support walking on rougher terrain.
Great sights and our tour guide was awesome. There are a lot of short hikes in sand and water to the hot springs so make sure you have good shoes (our guide suggested crocks). The end of the trip is 6 straight miles of kayaking and there is little to no current so be prepared. Overall it was a great trip.
The tour was amazing. Our guide Xander was fabulous and was extremely knowledgeable. We learned all sorts of things ranging from history of the dam to geology of the canyon to the various types of birds & other animals on/along the river. I will say this trip is very physically demanding & not for the inexperienced. Twelve miles of paddling can be brutal in the Nevada heat with the sun beating down on you 98% of the time. There is very little shade to be had. Hydration is key & sunblock a must. The hiking portion was not extensive but the rocks leading to the hot springs can be very slippery & falling is not uncommon. Overall this trip lived up to expectations & I would definitely do it again.
We had an amazing experience on the Hoover Dam Kayak Tour on the Colorado River with Las Vegas Shuttle! Our guide, Xander, was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable, fun, and really helped make the day memorable. His passion for the river and the surrounding area really added to the experience. Be prepared as this tour does require a good amount of physical endurance. It's a full day of paddling and exploring, but it's 100% worth it. The views of the Colorado River were absolutely breathtaking, and the stops along the way gave us the chance to take in some truly unique natural beauty. The Hot Springs were a definite highlight, both beautiful and relaxing. This tour gave us a chance to see a different side of the Las Vegas area, and it’s something I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventure beyond the Strip.
Such an awesome trip and great weather. They are so helpful about getting us on river. Made it very easy. Can’t wait to go back.
I went on a school camping trip, and they made it even better than it already was! They helped us transport our kayaks and canoes and got us down and up the river, so much thanks to them!
I loved exploring all the slot canyons and hot springs, thank you Zolton and Bali for making our trip possible! 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Bali and Zoltan really helped make our experience on the Colorado River so much easier and so much fun! This was such a special and memorable experience that I got to share with my friends. Thank you so much for making this trip possible!
Wow! This was the best experience ever. They were so helpful during the drop off and pick up. We had a couple vans breakdown and they were willing to help us late in the night. Kayaking with them was a fantastic time. 10/10
Great trip had an absolute blast. Both Bali and Zoltan were super great and helpful for loading and making the trip fun very enjoyable. Both of them were fun and easy to talk to also their knowledge of the dam was great! 10/10
It was an awesome trip! Camping under the stars and kayaking is a very unique experience and I can’t wait to do it again hopefully next year.
Super fun trip! Loved camping under the stars with my friends by the river. I sadly don't have photos from this amazing trip.
Zolton and Bali were extremely helpful to help us unpack and leave the dam quickly. I had an amazing time with my friends experiencing the Colorado river. Can’t wait to do it again next year!
Really helpful, went out of their way to help us, even when they didn’t need to. Overall fantastic experience and great people.
