Hoover Dam Discovery Kayak Tour With Lake Mead Views

Faith was a fantastic guide. Her rural like experiences combined with her knowledge was exceptional. She was funny and great to be around.

Such a wonderful alternative to the bright lights of Vegas. The water, views, and the overall experience were amazing! Hots off to our guide team who kept us safe, made sure we had fun, and educated us on the history of the Hoover Dam and surrounding area!!! Much appreciated and much recommended!

My daughter and I had a great experience with Evolution Expeditions! We signed up for the Hoover Dam and Hot Springs Hike tour, but the night before our tour, there were flash floods and washout, which caused that specific tour to be cancelled. They were able to pivot very quickly and within the hour we had joined another tour to the Hoover Dam on Lake Mead and received a partial refund. Maddy was our guide for the original tour and she stayed with us while we joined Faith’s group. Both guides were great - they were friendly and really knowledgeable about the area! They turned what could’ve been a disappointing experience into a really great one! Also, if you have time, there is a nearby park called Hemenway Valley Park that has a lot of bighorn sheep that like to hang out there!

This adventure is amazing! I highly recommend asking for Faith, she was our tour guide and she was SO FUN! She spent the whole time telling us about the area, pointing out wild life and making sure we were all safe and having a good time.

What a great trip!! We started at Hover Dam and made our way down the river. We stopped at a sauna cave and several hot springs. Was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. I was afraid I would be sore from paddling, but was not. Perfect trip and we even saw an eagle! Our tour guide was Faith..she is awesome!! Request her as your guide..

This was a spectacular trip. There were so many beautiful sights and the hot springs offered a nice break. Our guide, Faith, shared some local history and we even got to see some wildlife.

The whole experience was wonderful and because a couple of us were not very experienced Faith our guide made our trip one to remember. She made us feel safe and comfortable for the entire trip. She was gave us so much information along the way about the sights we were seeing and she has a great personality!! We will definitely recommend this Company to our friends and family!

Madyson was a fantastic guide, she was very informative and knowledgeable. The hike to the hot springs was short and well worth it. The emerald cave and echo cave were amazing. Lunch was delicious, and we were never hungry or thirsty.

We went yesterday and Faith was amazing. Very Informative and helpful. We had a blast. Will definitely do it again. Hot spring were epic.

What a fabulous trip! Our guide Ray made it so enjoyable and provided great information about Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and other surroundings. Lunch was very good and we enjoyed it on a little beach off the lake. Definitely a great experience and many thanks to our guide, Ray!

Faith was a great tour guide. She was prepared for us with Kayaks ready to go, gave us a crash course on using foot pedals for steering and rudder control, which we had never used before. Faith pointed out much of the local wildlife and was especially knowledgeable about native plants growing in the area. We found Faith to be very friendly, courteous and informative. As we neared the Dam , she spoke about its construction, size and security and then we took a break with lunch close by the Dam and enjoyed conversation with her and our fellow Kayaker David. We had originally planned our trip for a later time in the day, but Faith had called the night before to let us know high winds were in the forecast and suggested an earlier start time . On our way back from lunch , we got a taste of the winds and we’re glad that we started earlier at Faiths suggestion. Good call on her part. All in all, it was a great trip for my family, we enjoyed the scenery, wildlife and seeing a famous US landmark up close. I would highly recommend Faith as a tour guide-she was friendly, informative, patient and fun to kayak with. Thank you !

Great kayaking tour on Lake Mead from start to finish. Awesome views on the lake, canyon and Hover dam. Perfect organization and service by our guide Faith.

Terrific trip with Faith including incredible kayak through the Black Canyon, great slot canyon hikes and hot springs. Even got up close to a few big horn sheep. Faith was very knowledgeable and made sure everyone in the group had a great trip. Highly recommended.

We did the Hoover Dam trip with Faith who was an amazing guide. She went above and beyond to make our trip a memorable one. We were celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday who told me 20 minutes into the day that this experience made the entire trip for her. Faith got some awesome photos and videos of our group, serenaded us, and even had them release the long horned sheep for our viewing pleasure! Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent trip. Starting at the dam was cool and the stops were nice easy walks to a sauna and several hot springs. The Kayaking was wonderful. The river was nice and cold on a very hot day. Our guide, Burton, was super patient, very knowledgeable and fun to be around. A must do adventure.

Ray and Faith were awesome tour guides. They were both very well prepared, very knowledgeable and efficient. The tour itself was beautiful.

Great tour! Chris was exceptional. Very knowledgeable about the area, friendly and outgoing. 2 mile paddle to the base of the Hoover dam. We stopped for lunch and a swim then paddled back. Saw big horn sheep. There is a 30 min off road route to get to the launch area. In a jeep it would’ve been more fun. Overall would recommend this tour!

The tour was an amazing way to see Hoover Adam and experience Lake Mead. Stunning views and Ryan was an exceptional guide; knowledgeable, funny and he ensured we had the experience we expected. Highly recommend!!!

Our tour guide Chris, was a blast to tour with. He was highly knowledgeable about the region, and is highly adaptable to kayakers of various skill levels. He was super helpful, encouraging, friendly and a great offroader. Overall, highly recommend as a must-do activity if you’re planning to see the Hoover Dam, or travelling to Las Vegas

I just wanted to say what an amazing time we had on our trip with Aaron...it was so nice to see the desert close up on our decent down to the put in...once on the water the giant cliffs and the Hoover dam were just awe inspiring..such a slice of time and history...just wanted to thank Evolution Expeditions for an amazing time...
