Half-day Mojave Desert Atv Tour From Las Vegas

I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment and dissatisfaction with the experience I received for my recent booking through Viator. BOOKING DETAILS Booking Reference: 1807160397 Tour Booked: HALF DAY MOJAVE DESERT ATV TOUR FROM LAS VEGAS Local Tour Operator: Las Vegas ATV Rentals Tour Date: 2 Nov 2026 10:AM 1. I AM A RETURNING CUSTOMER – PREVIOUSLY HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE I previously booked a tour through Viator in March 2024 and had a wonderful experience. I thoroughly enjoyed that trip, which is why I trusted Viator again and chose your platform for another ATV adventure. Unfortunately, this recent experience was completely different and extremely disappointing. As a returning customer, I expected the same level of service, reliability and professionalism. 2. COMMUNICATION RECEIVED ON NOVEMBER 1 – 10:00 AM TOUR ARRANGEMENT On November 1, I received a message informing me that the 10:00 AM tour was booked exclusively for my group, whereas the tour normally operates with approximately 10 participants. I was also offered the option of joining the 11:00 AM group. I accepted the arrangements in good faith, trusting that I would receive the exact experience I had purchased. At no point was I expecting a change in the advertised destination. 3. WRONG TOUR DESTINATION – MOJAVE DESERT VS. NELLIS DUNES This is the most serious issue. I specifically booked and paid for the HALF DAY MOJAVE DESERT ATV TOUR FROM LAS VEGAS, but the tour operator took us to NELLIS DUNES instead of the MOJAVE DESERT. These are two different destinations and experiences. I did not book a Nellis Dunes tour. I selected the Mojave Desert experience specifically because that was the destination I wanted to visit during my vacation. I paid for one specific tour and received a completely different experience. 4. UNACCEPTABLE RESPONSE FROM THE LOCAL OPERATOR When we raised our concerns and expected assistance, the tour guide/operator did not take responsibility for resolving the issue. Instead, we were told that we had booked through a third party, Viator/TripAdvisor, and that they could not help us. I find this response completely unacceptable. As customers, we should not be caught between Viator and its local service provider because of internal coordination or booking-related issues. It is not the customer's responsibility to resolve disputes between the booking platform and the tour operator. 5. MY VACATION PLANS WERE DISRUPTED This was not just a minor inconvenience. I planned my Las Vegas vacation itinerary around this particular Mojave Desert experience. The wrong destination disrupted my travel plans, wasted valuable holiday time and deprived us of the experience we had specifically paid for. I trusted Viator based on my excellent experience in March 2023, and unfortunately, this incident has seriously affected my confidence in your platform. 6. MY EXPECTED RESOLUTION – FULL REFUND Considering the circumstances, I am formally requesting: A FULL REFUND for booking reference 1807160397 because the tour delivered did not match the destination and experience advertised and purchased. A formal investigation into why the local operator took us to Nellis Dunes instead of the Mojave Desert. An explanation of why the tour guide/operator refused to assist us and shifted responsibility to Viator. A written response from Viator management explaining how this matter will be resolved. I request that this complaint be escalated to your customer relations or management department rather than receiving a standard response directing me back to the local operator. I chose Viator again because I was a satisfied returning customer. I trusted your platform, paid for a specific experience and expected that experience to be delivered. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced on this occasion.

Wow! Just wow! My mother and I absolutely loved Harry and his guide style! This was exactly the adventure we were looking for. The views were spectacular, the trail we rode was just enough challenge, just enough speed, burgers were great. We felt safe and Nate was great keeping the atvs and us in check. We’ve done other atv tours in the area and this has been by far our favorite. Highly recommended.

Cameron was patient and attentive, he took time to ensure everyone on the tour was comfortable with the route we took. The quad bike riding was great fun.

The company was great. I was just paired with a group of women who did not know how to find and we spent the entire time training them.

Although the tour was supposed to be limited to 12 people, they picked up 13 and transported in the shuttle and only had 12 atvs prepped and ready. Although they had another 10 or so of another kind setting to the side, they acted as if they didn’t know how to proceed. I ended up with one of the “extras” and although it ran fine for about 20 minutes it did end up dying on the course. While the rest of the group continued on, I stood and waited while another worker attempted to get it going again. Since he was unable to get it going, another worker came and picked us up in a gate or and took us back to the starting point. Although I was unable to really even participate (20 minutes of an hour and a half ride), they made no attempt to acknowledge the failure of their equipment or offer any kind of refund. My wife and daughter had an ok time riding single file two atv lengths from the one in front of them around a track in a single file line at 15-20 mph (wasn’t what I expected). They do not permit riders to double up (wife didn’t really want to drive) but since their was no person to person communication prior to the trip we were unable to ask if this was possible prior to booking. Pictures on their ads showed riders doubled but they will not let you so know that. They stand behind their “no refund policy” even though their equipment failed to work properly causing a paying customer to miss out on what they paid for. I would have been ok…but they didn’t even acknowledge it or say we’re sorry this happened or offer any refund so beware, you may get to ride or you may not.

Cameron was a great cool guy. The group are large, many novices. The first 25 minutes good to get used to the ATV, but the second half, should have let us go on our own (those with more experience)

Myself and my partner had a blast! We had Harry as our guide and he was a lot of fun. Everything was thought out. I would 100% do this again!

Great experience. Great guide. Plenty of time spent on ATVs. Water provided. First loop was a bit slower allowing time to adjust to the ATV. Was able to tap out if needed before going on a second loop which was at a bit of a faster pace which was appreciated and fun. Will try a night time ride next time.

A very light, adrenaline rush, but a beautiful view when riding through Rocky roads semi mountains definitely gives desert vibes a little bit slow regarding to speed, but very fun guides were super fun easy explained

Today I had a blast riding the ATV our instructor/tour Harry was so awesome and funny , the course of the road is dealing with o obstacles and fun riding in ATV, i highly recommend to book this trip,!!

DO NOT BOOK! This company took our money, and we never got an opportunity to complete the ATV tour. Apparently, the time for pick-up was changed. Our email told us 12pm pick up. We arrived at the pick-up location at 11:30am. When we noticed that no one came to pick us up, we called the tour. At that time, we were informed that they tried calling us today to change the pick-up time to 11am. We never received a phone call or an email. Mind you we received emails reminding us of our tour but none of them indicated a time change. The website does say pick up times are subject to change. The website does say no refunds. I believe this is stated on purpose because they are ripping people off for their money. The problem I have with this is the amount of time they are allowed to change pick up times. From what we were told they tried to get a hold of us by phone at 11am. Why wasn't we allowed proper notification time. We are travelers coming for out of town. For all they know our plane landed at 9am. We should be given at least a 24-hour notice of change to reservation. This was very disheartening. It wasted our time and money and cause stress on what was supposed to be a peaceful and fun vacation.

Holy moly! 10/10 experience. Harry was out instructed and tour guide! This guys made the experience thee experience! He takes safety serious and he was funny and amazing through our needs during the tour! I highly recommend this experience for those who love thrills! Bring water lol.

My dad and I had a great time! Pickup from our hotel was timely and our guide Harry was very pleasant and accommodating. Our range supervisor George was also a class act - he gave us quality instruction and made the experience very enjoyable. To top it off, the burgers were delicious! Would definitely recommend and in fact, I’d like to redo it the next time I come to Las Vegas.

Our tour guide, Harry, is the real deal. My son and I had the best outdoor shooting experience (and burgers) ever! Our range instructor, George, was the coolest instructor I’ve ever had. He emphasized safety while still giving my son and me plenty of flexibility and freedom on the range. He even threw in an extra 25 rounds after my video recording stopped just before capturing one of my son’s shots. This was my second time visiting Bullets and Burgers, and there’s a reason we came back. The staff, the experience, and the professionalism are second to none. Simply the best!

I’ve had many guided tours and Harry was one of the best guides we could’ve had for our trip. He had great jokes, was kind, and very knowledgeable about the landscape and area.

I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone! We got picked up from our hotel by Harry, on the way to the shooting range he gave us lots of information on what to do on the strip and where we were driving through. So much information the hour drive felt like 20 minutes. When we got to the shooting range we met Ernie! He went through safety information and gave us choices on what we wanted to shoot. He’s the nicest person holding a gun I’ve ever met! The whole experience was amazing and the people were lovely! I’d come back just to do this tour over and over!

Harry picked us up from our hotel and took us to bullets and burgers, he gave us lots of information about Las Vegas and the Mojave desert. When we go to bullets and burgers we met Ernie that took us through the shooting range. Harry and Ernie were amazing the whole time and made us all feel welcome and looked after! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to shoot guns and have a fun time with some amazing people!
