⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a fantastic experience with River Dogz! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our trip and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Our guide, Michelle, was absolutely brilliant. As we were new to kayaking, she made us feel completely safe, comfortable and supported throughout. From the car journey there right through to our return, Michelle shared so much interesting information about the local area and its history, which really added to the whole experience. The time spent out on the water was fantastic and the photos taken along the way were such a lovely bonus and a great way to remember the day! Communication leading up to the trip was also excellent, with helpful information and quick responses to any questions. We honestly couldn’t fault River Dogz or Michelle in any way. Such a brilliant experience from start to finish and one we would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so much, Michelle, for making our day so memorable. We hope the wedding goes wonderfully! 😊

A great trip kayaking in the Colorado! Michelle was a fantastic guide - gave us some valuable instruction on how to kayak properly and was knowledgeable about the history of the river, the dam, and the plants and animals we saw along the way. She took lots of pictures so we didn’t have to - all made available at the end of the day. Wonderful experience! Highly recommend River Dogz!

A lovely escape from Las Vegas.

What a great great day. The river was calm, green and beautiful. Griffin was our guide. He was Absolutely amazing. We had a group of 8 ppl. No one was left behind. Life jackets were supplied which has a pocket for your phone. lol. Don’t leave it behind like some moron. Ie me lol. Griffin had a supply of snacks, chips and bottle of frozen water (brilliance right there) the only down fall of this tour is. Waiting for the cave to open up. Apparently at times this can be up to 2 + hrs. In the summer but still I would absolutely recommend this tour.

Very enjoyable! Beautiful scenery. You only spend about 5 min in the cave but it was still cool ( mainly for the green water).

Great time with Preston . Group was small but from all over the world ! Preston kept us moving along so we wouldn’t get jammed up along the way . We actually had the perfect weather .. no wind .

An absolute fantastic excursion! I booked pickup at Aria Hotel, chose a single kayak, great communication with River Dogz right off the bat, and then with our guide, Becca. The pickup location was specific, and on time. It was about an hours drive to Willow Beach with Becca filling us in on the sites we passed along the way. Arrived at Wiilow Beach, got provided with our life jackets, kayaks and paddles, water, instructions on getting into and out of the kayak, and off we went. Stunning views along the 2 mile stretch to Emeral Cave. We stopped at a beach just before getting to the cave for some fresh fruits and salty snacks, a swim, and an optional (short) hike up the mountain. Becca gave more history on this particular trek along the Colorado River. After we got to the cave, took a few pics (Becca takes pictures and sends to everyone after the trip), we headed back the 2 miles to Willow Beach. It was a beautiful, fun day with new friendships made. Thank you River Dogz and Becca! A highly recommend excursion!

We had a great time kayaking to the Emerald Caves. Griffin was a fun guide and had lots of great stories to tell. He made sure we were all having fun and doing good. He took great care of us!

Five stars for the tour. Michelle deserves her own constellation. This little fireball brought experience, fascinating history, and a sense of humor that made four hours of kayaking fly by. She’s hilarious, charming, and clearly passionate about what she does. I was trying to remember how to paddle while she casually balanced being our historian, comedian, coach, and lookout. What impressed me most was how attentive she was to our small crew—watching everyone, giving clear instruction, and keeping us feeling confident while making the whole experience ridiculously fun. That takes serious skill. To her bosses: Michelle is a keeper. Give that woman a raise—and possibly a microphone. We left with great memories, tired arms, and absolutely no doubt we picked the right tour!

Enjoyed Colorado River kayaking as a great respite from the boisterous Vegas strip. Our guide Becca was an enthusiastic joy who added to our trip with her knowledge of history and her sense of humor.

This was such an amazing choice we did on our trip to Las Vegas. 4 hours was a good enough time to see the beautiful emerald water and get the Perfect amount of heat but not too much! We also did this on a Monday which weekdays boats aren’t allowed to dock giving kayakers and paddle boarders a flat lake to ride on. Our tour guide was very informative and kind! He made the 4 hours informative and enjoyable!!

Amazing experience! Highly knowledgeable guide and had the most amazing day. They pick you up at one of the hotels and then it’s about an hours drive to the river. You get water and snacks for the kayak journey itself and lots of great insider knowledge on the area. Well worth the money.

River Dogz was a great company for this experience. Professional, friendly staff made this experience 5 star! The group size is limited, so it's not a huge herd of kayakers on the river, which allowed our guide, Michelle, to give us a lot of historical information and share her knowledge of the animals, birds and vegetation around the river. There is so much history here and it's a beautiful place to kayak. We actually selected River Dogz because of the great reviews, and the company lives up to this. The communication was very good. Our selected time didn't have enough participants, so they moved us to a later time and let us know right away that this was going to happen. We received texts with where to meet, what to bring, what to expect, etc. We chose the self-drive option, so it was very detailed about where and when to meet and what the parking situation was. We even got a text offering necessary supplies (a dry bag, LS sunshirt, sunglasses, sunscreen) and branded items (stickers, t-shirts) that we could pre-purchase and have waiting at the marina. Fresh, cold water was provided at the beginning for each person and a variety of protein bars, granola bars, fresh fruit, fruit snacks, and more water available at our pull out break stop. Before we started we had safety information and kayaking instructions/tips from Michelle that really helped on our long trip to the cave and back. We were lucky to have just the right sun at the Emerald Cove stop - it really was pretty magical. The staff was helpful and professional. Michelle took a lot of photos to share with us after our trip also, of things we saw on the way and of us so we can remember this trip in photos instead of just selfies! I would recommend River Dogz to anyone, and will definitely use them again if I return.

We had such a great experience with River Dogs on our Emerald Cave tour while visiting Las Vegas! Everything was well organized and punctual, and our guides were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They even took pictures for us along the way! Snacks and unlimited water were provided, which was a nice touch. The entire experience was reasonably priced and absolutely worth the money. What really stood out was how they went above and beyond to mail my friend's stickers back to her after she accidentally left them on the bus. Such thoughtful customer service! Highly recommend River Dogs to anyone visiting the area!

We had a great day kayaking on the Colorado River with River Dogz. The company was very communicative and responded to questions promptly by text ahead of time. Preston was our tour guide and he was friendly and informative throughout the day. Pick up from our hotel went without a hitch. I would recommend the tour and company.

One of the best choices I ever took for doing excursions or water sports. I can't describe enough how much I enjoyed this tour. I had the most cool and unforgettable water splash ever in the Colorado river. Our guide Michelle was so friendly, professional and we learnt a lot from her about the basics of Kayaking. It was so relaxing and I enjoyed the nature a lot. This is a must to do tour to be done while you are in Vegas. Thank you so much River Dogz!

5 stars for Jessica our guide! She was engaging, informative and overall friendly. Not sure if it was time of year/ time of day/ water level but emarald cove was not near as impressive as some pictures made it out to be. Equipment was a bit beat up but functional. Launch location was very muddy.

This excursion is SO amazing! I have done it numerous times now and have never been let down. River Dogz is an amazing company with wonderful employees. Julia and Michelle were the best. The owner of the company even came out to paddle the river with us! Can’t wait to do it again!

Kayaking was a great experience. Selected to be picked up from a hotel on the Strip. Drive to the river was fun and educational. Our guide (Julia) made the trip so much fun. She even gave us some amazing tips on what to go see for the rest of our trip. It is an easy 4 mile kayaking journey that we would definitely recommend.

A beautiful day on the Colorado River with Preston at River Dogs! He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure everyone feel included and comfortable. The paddle was peaceful, Emerald Cave was beautiful, and spotting herons and mountain sheep made it even more special. Preston brought it all together for such a memorable experience.
