That there is a subway stop on the way. You don’t have to rush breakfast in the morning . There is plenty of restroom breaks.
My driver was 30 minutes late for pickup and because of that delay, when I asked him if I could use the restroom very quickly before departure, he insisted he as running behind schedule and couldn’t wait for me, which I thought was short-sighted and cruel. He had enough time to argue with me AND call his supervisor (Adrianna) at Gray Line Tours, mind you, but in the time it took him to do that, I could’ve easily been in and out of the ladies room. Instead, he suggested I meet him at the last pick up point, the taxi ride which cost me an additional $35. There were also too many stops crammed into this itinerary IMHO. Having been to the Grand Canyon South Rim (4 times) and the North Rim (once), this West Rim excursion was underwhelming. Food at the location was convenience store quality, sadly. On the ride back to Vegas, it wasn’t lost on me that the driver (Mike), who was otherwise a great and funny host, rushed off the bus himself at a designated stop because he had to pee pretty urgently (he announced this to the group)! My previous Viator experiences have all been stellar so it’s hard to reconcile this very disappointing one with the ones that came before it. Please do better, Gray Line Tours, and encourage your staffers to exercise common sense in such situations. And if you’re so inclined, reimburse me for that unnecessary cab ride!
Mike was great, funny and very knowledgeable. I was a great experience. I’m glad that I went on the tour.
Pick up was over 30 mins late. A very good day and an excellent guide in Derek who was knowledgeable and personable. Plenty of breaks on the journey. Not as much time at Hoover dam as would have liked and viewed from a distance from the bridge. However, plenty of time to explore Grand Canyon and skywalk a fantastic experience.
Great tour, bus driver very knowledgeable and friendly. Hotel pickup and drop off was easy and convenient
A lot of walking on uneven ground wear comfortable walking shoes. Tasty hot lunch pot roast was excellent. Dereck, our tour guide/bus driver was awesome!!!
Such a great experience! Our driver, Derek, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He gave clear instructions as far as pick up points, and gave great recommendations.
Was overcharged by the website. No explanation on why the extra charges were. The tour was good but was not happy about the$112 overcharge
For $100 we got amazing experience on the skywalk and zipline. Sooo much fun. Made for a beautiful day. The people who work there were all wonderful and caring and made it feel like a family outing. Do not miss this. The Skywalk was not nearly as scary as I thought it would be. Neither was the zip line. So worth it. Had a fabulous lunch also.
Our group had about 20 people on the bus which is just right because a large group would make this trip harder. Luis was very informative and very attentive.
The bus was not good. It was old, the air conditioning did not work at all. It was miserable traveling due to heat. It said we would get 4 hours at the canyon stop but was only given 3. We had to get off bus early and taxi back to our hotel since it was hot and uncomfortable in the bus. They were also running little late in the morning for pickup. It cost lot of money to be not comfortable. I rather rent a car next time.
We booked this tour through Virgin holidays & thought it would be a great way to see the hoover dam & Grand Canyon as our package included the skywalk & included a BBQ lunch. The booking process wasn’t great as our paperwork gave us the wrong location & pick up time. We had emailed confirmation as directed but for some reason the email failed to go through when sent. As a consequence we missed the tour. To grey lines credit they immediately booked us on the same trip the following day at no extra charge. We boarded the bus & set off for the hoover dam around an hour & half away. This was the disappointing bit. The tour bus stops around half a mile from the dam where you can see it from a highway bridge vantage point from a distance. I was expecting to be able to walk around the dam & possibly even go down into the turbine hall as I’d done on a previous tour with a different tour provider. I think it misrepresents the tour to advertise the hoover dam & Grand Canyon. The reality is a tour to the Grand Canyon & a quick stop to look down on the dam from a distance. The Grand Canyon element was more positive with the skywalk being impressive. Having said that the included BBQ lunch was far from impressive & did not fit the description of a BBQ. It was essentially canteen food & wasn’t particularly nice. Our driver was helpful & provided free bottles of water & a running commentary of sights along the way. He also made regular comfort stops at rest / gas stations so customers could use rest rooms. In summary the tour was ok but I didn’t feel we’d had the quality experience we expected due to the poor lunch that was included & only getting a limited view of the hoover dam from a distance for a short period of time.
The experience was amazing. The driver was kind to reserve a seat for my handicap. My only complaint is that the ad promised a bus with a bathroom, but we did not have one.
We enjoyed our day going to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon with our guide Derick. He gave lots of tips about how to navigate our stops, where to eat, and what he recommended. I’d only recommend that they have clearer pick up instructions & a better bus.
Great day out. Our tour guide Michael was amazing and gave us loads of details on the history and area.
Amazing tour, very well organised, thoroughly enjoyed the trip and loved Eric, who continually fed us information. Nice lunch included in our package.
Bus didn't have a bathroom as advertised, but the driver made ample stops. Driver was very pleasant & had lots of cold bottled water for everyone.
Mike was a great driver and tour guide. The Grand Canyon Skywalk was breathtaking. The weather was cold
Really enjoyed the trip. Driver Mike, was knowledgeable, funny and a really good driver. We had a great day out. The Grand Canyon was spectacular.
Everything was very fun, but what it made the whole experience the best was having Mike as a guide, he was the best, very fun and made everything very cool and easy
Bus driver was very good and help full
Please take warm clothing. It can get windy and cool in the canyon. Also, take bottled water and wear comfortable shoes.
Had Prince for my tour guide/driver. This was the perfect tour for me. I love sightseeing but I don’t like to linger around too much. Had a few hours at Grand Canyon and that was great for me. Prince was organized, funny, and very informative.
Prince was an amazing driver and tour guide!! He made our trip fun and informative. I highly recommend!!!!
We had an awesome time and our guide Prince was the best!!!!! Sights were awesome and lots of info given. Our guide did a great job!!
We all had a great experience. The bus was clean and safe. Our driver, Prince, was a great tour guide and driver. Very understandable and nice.
We had a great experience and the driver prince made the journey enjoyable
A really nice day tour from Begas and well worth the trip. Just an awesome inspiring view of this engineering marvel. Prince, our driver, was very informative and helpful
Prince is an incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining guide. He made the Grand Canyon Tour very enjoyable and memorable. “Don’t be that guy!”
Prince was tufffff, his voice was nice to listen to(no diddy) he kept everyone entertained and made a 2hr ride feel quick and easy. Highly recommend.
Prince is excellent tour guide driver organizer!!!!
If you are looking for an amazing experience, book with greyline. The driver ' Prince ' was phenomenal and made the experience perfect. He left us with the best thought and line- Don't Be That Guy, he was very knowledgeable and recommended this trip for anyone ready for an adventure.
Excellent trip and excellent Driver Prince
Viator is a hit or miss on booking in the the future. Price was our Tour Guide through Grey Lines and did an awesome job the entire trip. Rest stops on the way were a bit short but otherwise everything was great! Don't forget....don't be that guy!
Prince made the schlep fun and entertaining. Everything ran smoothly.
Our driver Prince, was charming and an excellent tour guide! He was informative, helpful, and filled with great humorous moments!
Our driver prince was the best. He’s awesome!
I wouldn’t never think that the desert hides such a wonderful beauty!!! The helicopter ride above the Grand Canyon, was a once in life time experience !!! My eyes got open to a world I didn’t know was there and was waiting for me to see it. Thank you for giving us this unique experience!!!
The whole experience was amazing! The bus ride was great. Our driver Derek was fun and knowledgeable and made the whole trip better. The Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam was truly a sight to see! We would definitely do this trip again.
Tour guide Mike was the best. Great trip and awesome experience . The views were excellent. Only downside were long lines for lunch. We did not eat because of this
Absolutely amazing tour from start to finish. Amazing views and made even better with Edward and Steven. Made the experience even better with fun facts and laughter. Thank you so much. 100% recommend doing this tour.
It is a beautiful experience to see that, but I think the time it’s not enough, we filled the rush. I think it would be good to have a little bit more information to the steps to follow long lines to get the shadows. It makes the time short and when we went to the hoop damn crazy 20 minutes by the time that you use the restroom and go all the way up to 20 minutes are gone if you were lucky to get in the bathroom fast.
While the tour itself was very good, I was extremely disappointed with the lunch arrangements. The restaurant and café were both completely full, and there was only one staff member serving in each area. The queues were so long that if we had waited to be served, we would have missed our bus departure time.
Our experience on this tour was nothing short of exceptional. Our guide was incredibly cheerful and possessed a deep knowledge of every site we visited. Most notably, he went above and beyond by patiently waiting for a few of our family members who were delayed returning to the bus, ensuring our group stayed together. The only downside was that we enjoyed ourselves so much we wished the tour had been longer; we would have loved even more time to soak in the beauty of each location, especially the Grand Canyon.
Adam was very knowledgeable and helpful to us on our trip to the grand canyon and hoover dam. Very friendly. He took some nice family pictures for us that will leave us with many memories. He is very good at what he does.
False Advertising and Bait-and-Switch Scam I highly advise everyone to avoid Gray Line Las Vegas. I paid a premium price of $634.06 for two people to take the "Grand Canyon West Rim by Luxury Limo Van" tour, which is advertised with high-end Mercedes Van photos. Instead, we were picked up in a regular bus—the exact same service provided to passengers who only paid $205.00. When I contacted customer service, they admitted the vehicle was not a limo van but claimed the bus was "luxury" because it had leather seats. This is a blatant bait-and-switch. They offered a "goodwill" refund of only $65 per person, which doesn't even cover the $120 per person price difference between the luxury package and the standard bus tour I actually received. This company is knowingly overcharging for premium services they do not provide and then refusing to refund the difference when caught. Do not use this service. They are misleading customers and their "luxury" labels are a lie.
First of all the diver didn't wait for 10 mints while pickup I can understand that it's not his fault. But while dropping off he didn't drop at the booked place he drop at the srltrip and said he will not drop at the hotel which I booked for. Have to pay another amount to taxi to get to my hotel.
Reason for not giving it 5 star is that they could ve planned to give more than just 3 hours time at the Rim. With long queues in the restaurant 3 hours didn’t feel ample.
It was a fantastic trip! Gray Lines was amazing to work with. Prince was our bus driver/tour guide and he was fabulous. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.
