The company appeared to switch transportation from a coach bus to a shuttle type bus. For a premium pass experience sitting in the back of a shuttle bus was very bumpy and thankfully no one had motion sickness. One couple was turned away and another left because they could not sit together on the shuttle. The guide was pleasant but the stop for coffee at a gas station was not what I'd expect for the money paid for this experience. The experience at the park was wonderful and the guide prepared us well.
Booked to go on a day trip to the West Rim Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam and was not disappointed. Although it was an early pickup from the hotel nextdoor it was totally worth the early morning. Our guide, Brandon was extremely knowledgeable about the history, geology, local flora and fauna and the Native American tribes, and had a great sense of humour. Michael our driver was also very nice and they both contributed to what ended up being the highlight of our trip to Vegas. We paid about $165 each, which equated to around £110 for the day and this included lunch which was very good and tasty, at the Sky view restaurant which is run by the hualapai tribe who own that area of the canyon. The whole day was a real treat with a great atmosphere and although our coach was full we weren't rushed and got to see so much. If you want a fairly relaxed day out I would recommend.
It was a great experience! We had a great lunch with the nicest view. Met some fantastic new friends and got to cross this off the bucket list. Our tour guide did a great job all the way around. He covered everything, had a lot of information to share with the group along the way. Martin is a great tour guide with a good sense of humour and a lot of knowledge. He went above and beyond. Such a great tour!! Good length so we had enough time to see all of the sites in sufficient time and the best part was our driver Leonardo and our guide Teresa who were both so lovely!! Teresa really made the tour even more amazing with her personality and her extensive knowledge!!
