Great Day! Andrew was our tour guide and he was informative, amusing and he knew when to not overwhelm.Best tour guide!
Great time with Joe, awesome view at the Canyon! Learned a bit about the area and Natives. Worth every penny.
The trip was great. Breakfast at a kittle private dinner. They have a system worked out so you are in and out in about 30 minutes for the entire bus. Good food too. There are plenty of stops along the way for sight seeing and leg stretching. The comedy on Deck tour guide was funny and entertaining
Such a great tour and plenty of time at the stops to see everything. The comedy on deck guys are great.
Trip was very well planned. The Grand Canyon experience was awesome. The tour guide Joe gave very helpful and informative information in a very entertaining way.
Great tour. Pat our guide was excellent kept us all going. Very funny and informative. Luis our driver did a great job . Would highly recommend.
UPDATED REVIEW- After making the following review I was contacted by the owner to discuss the issues we had faced. They were aware of the issues with backpacks, but kept blaming the Hualapei Indians for swapping and changing their policy, but wouldn’t take on board that they could put a warning on their site and add advise to bring other alternative bags that weren’t backpacks! The owner said they had suspended the tour person for two weeks as reviews like mine cost them money. I explained my review wasn’t just about the tour person. They kept reiterating this point, which felt very manipulative and like a guilt trip. Especially when repeating it had cost them $$$ Straight away it was placed on me that I should have called them, which I couldn’t as I had zero signal once we left the strip. They repeatedly tried placing blame on me and not having contacted them whilst on the tour, I don’t know how many ways I can explain I didn’t have signal and neither did the person who was with me. We were both using the same US sim provider, which wasn’t working once we left the strip to go to the dam. They explained they rent the buses. On their site it states the busses have air con. I explained it wasn’t working at the back of bus. I understand they hire the bus but I have paid for a ticket on a bus with AC that then didn’t work. It was very uncomfortable and I was glad I had brought a fan, to help reduce the discomfort. They then went on to explain the cost of the bus. I feel yet again this was being deflected and to make me feel bad. They explained they went the opposite way to the canyon due to Omelette house having a sick chef. They explained they usually first stop there first, but due to this sickness we would have had to wait 30 minutes for the other chef to come. They said they decided to send us to the dam first, but in hindsight this was the wrong decision. I explained it didn’t matter where the breakfast came in order of the day, it was still the opposite way, which takes precious time out of your potential time to see the canyon, which is the main thing you are paying to see! Its very illogical to make people wait 30 minutes outside a restaurant and they know this, they were deflecting blame and trying to guilt trip me for explaining the fact the restaurant is in the opposite direction. They said they get so few bad reviews, which I can’t confirm or deny. I do wonder if others have felt manipulated and somewhat bullied into deleting or changing a review? They said if I had contacted them before I left this review I could have had tickets to other shows, this wasn’t an option for us as we were fully booked. It was the other persons 30th, so we had made the most out of the once in a lifetime trip. They continued to say if I had contacted them before I made the review, they could have given me a refund, why not give this after my review and I would have happily deleted the review? They could have simply apologised, offered a refund and I would have deleted the review. After feeling like non of my experience was taken onboard and blame was deflected to others and myself, along with the constant guilt trips and manipulation has led me to feel this treatment was nothing short than disgusting. I deleted my last review and updated it. My original review is below. The only thing edited was the restaurant name as I had gotten it incorrect. Original review - When the coach arrived, it took a very long time for the host to sort us all out. We went to the Hoover dam, but you don't get long just to note. We then set off to go to the restaurant for breakfast. The selection was very limited to pick from. We arrived at Omelete House and we're put on a table with another couple, I hate eating in front of people and wish we had been given a choice, especially as the restaurant was empty and there were spaces nearby. We literally had cutlery thrown on the table. Then plates banged down on the table, for us to give to the person. I had slightly over a teaspoon of egg, sausage that was a patty and was dry and full of gristle. The pancakes were ok. I didn't even get chance to eat it. Partly due to time limits and partly you feeling forced to be social. We got back on the coach and had to drive past the dam again and go almost back on ourselves. This made no sense to me. The tour guide mostly made conversation with us passengers about where we were from and Vegas buildings we could see. He told us late about the Nevada sign, so I couldn't capture it. He spoke mainly about the water shortage issues, which was quite depressing. Then he spoke about the power shortages too and again this was pretty depressing. Then it was quiet until we got closer to the canyon. He spoke briefly about Joshua trees and getting us to try spot one. Then we entered an area with lots of them, so it seemed daft to speak about them when most of us couldn't spot the one tree. When we were going into an area where we were flooded by them. He told us about a little town and how they got water, via having to drive to get bottles of it. He pointed out other canyons (I think) and gave little information about them. When where close to getting to the Grand canyon shop, he announced back packs weren't allowed! Although if we took one strap and took it out of the plastic loop and tucked it in our bag, it would be allowed. I did this as I wasn't aware of the no backpack situation. When we arrived at the shop and lined up to get our wrist bands scanned and bags checked, I was told it wouldn't be allowed at all! How was I supposed to carry the things I needed?? After the shop, we got back in the coach and drove to Guano point. We were told there wasn't time to do the zip line as it could take 3 hours to do it, so that seems sketchy as to why it's offered as something you can do and is paid for with the sky walk. I then struggled with trying to quickly work out how I could carry the things I needed, as I didn't have pockets. Luckily my friend brought a shopper bag and I mainly put things in there and carried what I could, although this was difficult to do. We were told to do the skywalk first. I wish we hadn't to be honest. As you get in a huge line and waste time in the line. It would have been better to do this after looking around the canyon a bit. The line is mainly made to take pictures that they charge you for. This shouldn't be mandatory to do, there should be an option to skip this. Then you rejoin the line to get outside. It's quite popular, so it was hard to get pictures. We left and saw what we could in the very limited time left. Then we waited in another queue to go to Eagle point via a shuttle. We arrived and there was food here. I got the beef option but there was no gravy, or mash left. So I chose rice and received a biscuit (American style). It was so incredibly difficult to eat it, as it was all dry food. The beef was lovely tho. We then ventured to look at the sights here. I feel we had only just started to look and now it was time to go. We drove back and I don't recall any more information from the guide until we got closer to our drop off. He told us about some cheap areas to eat and mostly repeated earlier things about what we could see out the window. Luckily I had some dollars on me to give for tips, I usually pay tips via card. Most of the way there I was hot in the coach and coming back I was extremely hot. The was no air coming from the fan above. Luckily I had brought my own. I looked up the tour when we got back, as I felt so confused on so many things. A where was the comedy? B tour, what tour? C was there anything about bags, no there wasn't!! Why wait to tell people in the middle of nowhere!! D why go to the restaurant the opposite way, when there was one on the way to the canyon? E the website says the bus has air con, it definitely wasn't happening anywhere us. Personally I'd rather not visit the restaurant in the morning, as it took up a lot of time. Perhaps they could provide something on the bus? I was pretty hungry, so I'd ask if they could find a restaurant with better quality of food in the morning at least. They should also reach out to the eagle point and ask they ensure they have enough food for all guests throughout the day. I loved visiting the canyon, but would have liked the opportunity to see more of it and not have such a limited time. I'd advise not doing the skywalk, what you can see walking around, is just as good! Plus you will have more time to see everything and not be stuck in a queue seeing walls.
Promises were not kept. Due to the tour guide’s poor time management, we were unable to stop at the Hoover Dam parking area, as we didn’t arrive until it was already dark. I strongly advise against using "Comedy on Deck." They failed to deliver the services promised in their offer. The two stars are awarded solely because the Grand Canyon itself was so beautiful; the company itself would deserve 0 stars. A real shame!
This was an amazing experience! Everything about the tour was great! Breakfast was good and Tony, our tour guide was wonderful!
This was my husband and myself 2nd visit but our daughter and her husband’s first and we all had a fantastic time we didn’t have enough time to zip line 🥲but still had a wonderful time and the breakfast and lunch was great and our guide Tony was awesome as well for everything that was included in our package it was well worth what we paid and would definitely recommend to everyone. The buss was comfortable and not to crowded and very clean as well.
The best tour in my life! Pat and Derek are professional. We had a lot of fun. Beautiful day with great people .
Comedy on Deck was a great way to experience the Grand Canyon West. The tour was just the right length for being able to explore the main part of the Grand Canyon West area, including the skywalk. Joe was quick on his feet to provide an alternate route after flooding closed part of an area we were supposed to visit and his wit was on point throughout the entire day. We really appreciated his knowledge and humour, and our driver Brendo was one of the best drivers we have ever had as well.
In Vegas the last week of October. Stayed on the strip and didn't like what we saw. Too much building going on and so much prepping for the big upcoming car race. Vegas Strip has officially "jumped the shark." BUT, we are so very happy we booked Comedy on Deck tour to the Grand Canyon 'West Rim.' Great trip and a great escape from The Strip. Pickup was right on time. The bus was clean and comfortable. Our tour-guide Joe Pedoto and bus-driver La-La (or Lola) were super. Joe was funny and gave us a lot of useful info. Saw the Hoover Dam and then plenty of time to explore and walk around the West Rim of the Canyon. Made for a great day of sightseeing. Breakfast and Lunch were included. We would recommend this trip to anyone.
Johnny and Dirk are an excellent team for this tour. The canyon is amazing, Johnny’s narrative and humor interesting and enjoyable, and they made sure that, as an ADA client, I was able to enjoy all aspects of the trip. They were very respectful and considerate of my needs, including assistance getting the mobility scooter in and out of the bus storage area. I feared the tour might be a bust for me, but they made sure I enjoyed it to the fullest. Thanks, guys!
Loved the tour and Pat and Rod very engaging and laughed the whole time. Information on the history of both was very interesting 🙂
Wonderful views, nice bus and great driver. I enjoyed the breakfast and lunch. Not to much walking and the side stops were nice
From start to finish this tour was amazing. They were punctual, well organized, informative, and Adam was absolutely hilarious and had us entertained. Also a big shutout to Derick for being our driver and keeping us all safe on what was a memorable time for my son and me. Do the skywalk, eat at the restaurant and appreciate its beauty.
Adam our guide and Rob our driver made a magnificent trip even better than expected!
Joe was our tour guide yesterday and Lala our driver. They were great. We would definitely book with him again. (Stayed at the Linq and had to walk to the Horseshoe for pickup). Everything was smooth with the trip. Had ample time at the Grand Canyon. Liked that we got breakfast and lunch with our tickets.
Fantastic. but the whole day there, not s much.
Pick was on time, 06:50 the first bus would not have been able to accommodate the quantity of people at the next pick up with us onboard so we with 3 ladies were asked to step off and wait for the next one. It arrived promptly and we were collected and filled that bus. Our guide was Adam and our trip started with breakfast at a diner just outside the strip and that was a fantastic, good food and good service. We traveled on to the Hoover Dam which unfortunately after we entered, had some safety problem so we couldn’t get off the bus to take photos which was disappointing and eventually it had to close for the day. We then travelled on to the main event which was the west Rim, passing the Joshua trees on route! Our guide Adam was very informative and funny and gave us all the relevant info along the way and he was great. The West rim was fantastic we did the glass walkway and the photo package if you wanted to purchase was very well priced we got 18 photos for 30 dollars great value we thought. Post the glass walkway we went on to guava point and wow wow wow, fantastic views, rocks to climb to enhance the views and the lunch provided was fabulous. We had a great day, getting back to our drop off point just after 6:30pm. We’d both highly recommend this trip, comedy on deck and Adam who was just brilliant.
The tour was fantastic! We traveled with ~45 people in a bus and took ~10.5 hours from 7 am. Patrick was taking good care of us and he managed the energy level of the whole bus very well. I laughed a lot! as Pat was cracking jokes and did a whole stand up comedy on the bus. The breakfast included in the package was nice with a few options to choose from - actually the best breakfast during my time in Vegas. The stop at the Dam was perfectly timed. We also stopped at a gas station on the way and back as well which was helpful if you wanted to get something to drink or a treat - but we were also offered free bottled water on the bus. Patrick helped us plan the visit at the Canyon as it offers a lot and if you want to see (and climb) everything, you need to plan your time efficiently. Food was also good at the Canyon - I ate at Guano point, it was a huge portion for me as a European. :) Our driver, Bernice was also great! She was taking us everywhere safely.
Better than we anticipated. The organisation of the tour, our excellent coach driver, Lala and our very informative and entertaining guide Joe. We would definitely recommend this particular company. Comedy On Deck . 5 stars plus from us . Jan Jeff and Maggie from London .
Beautiful sights-well with the money. A long day but you see a lot. Our bus host was very informative-maybe shared a bit too much. (Maybe take a few more breaks from sharing.)
Great experience from beginning to end. Food was fanrastic, and the Grand Canyon is a must see for everyone.
Great experience and staff. Must do, this is my second time choosing this company for day trip tours. I wish we could get off the bus to take pictures of the Hoover dam but overall the Grand Canyon west experience was breathtaking.
Adam was a great comedy guide! He really went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend the tour company and tour guide!
It was a great time! You meet in the morning at a specified location and get on a coach bus and the first stop is breakfast. Food was a pre-fix menu for both meals, it was decent food. Then head towards the Grand Canyon west with 1 stop in between to use the restroom/get snacks. We opted in to do the zip line and skywalk and had a blast. We had enough time to visit both sites at the Grand Canyon after the zip line which sometimes I guess can be tricky if it’s busy. Lunch was provided at the Grand Canyon and then we headed back towards Vegas with 1 stop at the Hoover Dam on the way back. Our driver Bernice and host Robby were both great, highly recommend this trip if you’re on the fence! Beautiful views and got to learn some history too!
Absolutely fantastic guys to go on tour with. Gave excellent information whilst keeping the mood light and refreshing, getting to know everyone on the bus and helped us all to get to know each other. If you only do 1 tour, make sure you book this one. Robby the road dawg and Rod the driver your both absolute legends Thankyou for a great day out
Visit to Grand Canyon west is great. The tour guide, Comedy on Deck is excellent in providing all the guests excellent service, Tony our host and LaLa the driver are the best. I will recommend to my friends and family to take the tour with Comedy on Deck.
Going to this tour while in Vegas was an excellent decision. Ian and Luis made our tour amazing, funny, interesting and easy. I learned that the Canyon has 360 days of good weather a year, and even though we got one of the five rainy days, the views were breathtaking. Totally worth it.
Great day. The tour kept us informed all day. Super nice.
Ian and Luis were very accommodating! Even after dealing with an unfortunate situation with the bus at the beginning of the tour, they made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy the breathtaking views at the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam! Very informative and incredibly entertaining. Thank you again!
Adam was hilarious all day and was also very informative about our tour made the trip even more memorable
A great trip to Hoover dam and the Grand Canyon Adam kept us entertained with comedy and Todd got us safely there and back highly recommend.
The day started out wet. .... Very wet and we were not sure we would see anything. However Andrew kept giving great information and eventually the sun came out and the pictures and the experience was great .
Andrew our guide and Lala our driver made us feel welcomed and safe from start to finish. Easy pick up and smooth journey. Andrew was informative and made the tour feel personal. His humour and charm were engaging. Lala was very careful and respectful to passenger safety. Both food stops were traditional and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this tour despite the weather we had a great trip . Plenty of time to see everything
We had an excellent day with Comedy on Deck Tours, thanks to our brilliant tour guide, Pat, and our wonderful driver, Miss America. Pat was light-hearted, funny and knowledgeable, striking the perfect balance between comedy and interesting information throughout the drive. The journey flew by, and we learned so much along the way without it ever feeling like a history lesson. The breakfast stop was also a lovely touch and a great way to break up the journey. The Grand Canyon itself was absolutely breathtaking. Photos simply don’t do it justice, and seeing it in person is an experience we’ll never forget. Pat made the whole experience seamless, getting us through the entry process with ease and sharing loads of helpful tips on how to make the most of our time at the canyon. On the way back, Pat also shared some fantastic Las Vegas tips and recommendations, which were really useful. The whole day was exceptionally well organised, entertaining and informative from start to finish\. A huge thank you to Pat for making the trip so enjoyable and to Miss America for getting us there and back safely. If you’re visiting Las Vegas and thinking about taking a trip to the Grand Canyon, we would highly recommend Comedy on Deck Tours. Excellent service, great laughs and an unforgettable experience. 🌄
Best guide/entertainer Patrick and best bus driver Miss America. Not just a bus taking us from point A to point B. Lively entertainment and funny
The entire trip from pick up to drop off was incredible. So thankful we went with this tour. It was easy and the tour guide, Tony, was very funny and knowledgeable.
Robby and driver Bernice, entertaining and not too over the top. Informative and recommend!!!
Knowledgeable to tour guide. Bus driver, very safe. Views amazing.. amazing trip would definitely do it again.
I've checked a lot of things off my bucket list, but standing at the edge of the Grand Canyon with a smile on my face and not a single worry all day is one I'll never forget. Pat wasn't just a tour guide. He felt like that friend who knows all the best stories and somehow keeps a bus full of strangers entertained while making everyone feel welcome. Between the laughs, local history, and hidden gems he pointed out along the way, the journey was just as enjoyable as the destination. The West Rim was simply breathtaking. Photos don't do it justice. There are moments in life when you stop talking because you're taking it all in, and this tour gave us plenty of those moments. If you're thinking about booking with Comedy On Deck, do it. We came for the canyon, but we left talking about Pat and the experience. That's the difference between a tour and a memory. ❤️🏜️👏
I had an amazing day with Tony and Bernice today. Pick up straight from my hotel followed by a lovely, hot breakfast. We had a bonus stop at the Vegas sign. The Hoover Dam stop was followed by our visit to the Grand Canyon. We had lots of interesting information from Tony along the way. Plenty of time at each spot, but the day ran to a schedule. Highly recommend.
We have had the best time and it lived up to my expectations- Lewis out driver was very good and felt safe at all times - Andrew our guide was very funny and informative - I would totally recommend the comedy on deck tour with Andrew and Lewis to hoover dam and Grand Canyon
Best holiday tour we have ever experienced! We originally booked this without the skywalk but added the helicopter ride. Helicopter ride with Maverick helicopter tours, Caleb our polite was so kind, funny and immediately put any nerves we had to rest and it was the most immense experience of our lives! The bus was on time actually early! Ian our bus tour guide was soooooo funny, informative and couldn’t do enough for us! We decided we wanted to add the skywalk to our trip which he arranged straight away with no fuss! La La the bus driver was soooooo funny kind, chatty and organised. If you are going to do any excursion in Vegas let it be this!
The driver was great. The guide talked lot and was funny & helpful. The Grand Canyon was beautiful. The tour is MISLEADING. We did NOT go to Hoover Dam which is why I selected this tour. Instead they took us to the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial bridge that enables you to see the dam. I would not have selected this tour had I known it did not go to Hoover Dam.
Wonderful experience overall. Just enough time to go through everything, never felt rushed. The bus ride was nice and comfortable and the guide was attentive and charismatic. They gave us cold water bottles all the time, there were plenty of bathroom stops and a bathroom in the bus as well. Pickup was very punctual, we pretty much left and arrived on the dot. Breakfast and lunch were nice too, including vegan options. I recommend this experience very much. Just be sure to be there for the pickup with time to spare, and then you can take it easy the rest of the trip :)
Really nice and good enjoyed it and the guide was awesome
