Loved. Loved. Loved. This was worth every penny. We had a fabulous time and my husband’s 50th was memorable.

Itinerary
Your tour will start with pickup from your Las Vegas hotel. Meet your pilot who will help you board your helicopter for your 45-minutes (approx.) flight to the Grand Canyon West Rim. Listen as your pilot provides you with expert commentary as you fly over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead.
Fly over extinct Volcanoes such as Fortification Hill
Enjoy stunning aerial views of the Grand Canyon Colorado River.
Before you know it, you'll be flying through the Grand Canyon as it opens up before you. Nothing compares to the experience, photo opportunities, and memories of flying for 30 miles (48 kilometers) over this natural wonder.
Fly over new areas of Lake Mead on your way to the Valley of Fire.
As you leave the canyon behind you, enjoy the amazing scenery of the southwest as your pilot brings you over the fiery red rocks of the Valley of Fire. You'll then land for 30 minutes, and you'll have time for photos and a Champagne toast atop a stunning overlook at sunset. The contrasting colors and striking rock formations of this State Park have been featured in movies and many advertising publications due to its unique topography. Your tour will conclude with a flight back to Las Vegas with stunning views of the Mojave Desert.
Your helicopter tour concludes with a flight over the Las Vegas Strip including panoramic views of the Downtown Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, Bellagio, City Center, Mandalay Bay Resort and the Raiders Stadium.

Exciting flight, beautiful scenery. Landing in the valley of fire is surreal, like landing on the moon!
You won't be sorry!! It was an excellent ride from start to finish. Recommend taking the tour that lands in fire valley
The flight is pretty awesome. OMG you fly into the Grand Canyon and stop on top of a butte. I would have loved more narrative about what we were seeing. Headsets were difficult to hear the pilot and he had little or nothing to say. Bit disappointing.
I had an amazing experience. The pilot Sam is a great guide. I felt so safe. Seeing from the air really gives you a better perspective of how massive the canyons are.
Excellent all around experience! Unbelievable to see and best way to see it all. Didn't seem real to see it like that. Pics and videos taken during flight are Unbelievable
We ended up with a different tour, it was really good and Mad dog is really entertaining. We did not get the refund for changing itinerary accordingly, they why the 4 stars.
Do not miss this opportunity! I was worried that this was going to be romantically sappy flight and that I was going to feel awkward because I was going solo (for my birthday) and it said it was a champagne toast, but it was not sappy at all! The canyon at golden hour/sunset and all its views were completely breathtaking! And the silence of the canyon was shocking! The coolest part was when we landed on top one of the canyon and had a little toast (I was the only one who drank champagne-they should had smaller bottles if only one person was gonna drink) and we got to know the rest of the other people who were flying with us. Our pilot was friendly and awesome! He played great music over our head sets! And he maneuvered the helicopter exceptionally well! I would absolutely do this tour again! It’s well worth the money!
It was absolutely breathtaking! Mike, our pilot was wonderful and his soundtrack was too!
Alex, the pilot was great. The ride is awesome. Once in a life time experience! Totally worth the cost.
This was a once in a lifetime experience - I've seen the Grand Canyon from other angles, but this was a beautiful way to introduce it to my husband!
Excellent experience except they made us wait 30 minutes for someone that didn’t show up, and victor took forever to get the booking done because of language barrier
We were collected from our hotel around 4pm and made our way across to the boarding location. One safety video and a photograph later, we were on board and taking off. Our pilot was great and ensured the trip was informative. We saw some breathtaking sights and it took us around 90 mins to get to the landing location where we took photos, took in the views and drank champagne. Journey back was circa 30 mins.
The pilot was incredible. So knowledgeable about the area. She made sure we all could hear her and was very personable. Also the driver of the bus was great. Made sure we were all comfortable and answered any questions we had.
6 people in each helicopter (we were a group of 4) Seating goes by weight and we were so lucky to get the best seats (2 in the front and 2 behind us) Mike was a great pilot and made us all feel relaxed. 2 of us had a fear of heights but this was such an enjoyable experience and not at all scary. We saw the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, the Valley of Fire, a super sunset and finished with a flyover the strip at night. A truly spectacular and unforgettable trip.
This was the coolest thing we ever did. We were picked up at the hotel. Our driver was fun, friendly and full of fun Vegas factoids. The helicopter ride was breathtaking. Our pilot was great. Showed us as much as possible of everything. My husband had the best time. I did throw up but no one made me feel bad about it. It was still worth it!!!!
It was great, Christie is a fantastic pilot sharing stories and history as we flew. Highly recommend the sunset canyon and valley flight. Sipping champagne on top of a plateau as the sun sets was a perfect wind down to the day.
Very tiny helicopter with six adults. Front two seats were great but the back four had very poor views and four adults were crammed in. Also, we booked for a sunset flight stopping for champagne, but no pilot in time, so that part was canceled. We were given a bottle of cheap screw top “Wycliffe” champagne and a photo plus a small refund, but it was still very disappointing. Would not do again. Recommend to spend your dollars elsewhere.
The experience is breathtaking. The scenery was amazing. This was our first trip to the Grand Canyon and we are so glad we chose to experience it from the air. Dalton was an excellent pilot and made us all feel comfortable.
Thanks Manny!! Amazing flight to the Grand Canyon & wonderful friendly service (with a few laughs). Great experience 😀
highly recommend this company, excellent service on every level. sunset flight was the right choice, little bit pricey but worth every cent. memories for a lifetime
You will not regret taking this tour! Truly incredible experience that everyone should take! Dylan was a wonderful pilot that took us on a ride we won’t forget.
From start to finish the whole crew was very professional and welcoming. And once we were in the air it was such an AMAZING experience. The pilot did a great job making sure everyone onboard was comfortable and enjoying the experience. He pointed out key landmarks as well as gave us history of the areas we were flying over. Definitely don't pass up this opportunity!
It was an amazing experience the pilot was very informative about the canyon and to top it all off my man proposed to me in the valley of fire what a unforgettable experience Highly recommend it
Awesome (first time) experience with a first rate pilot (Christie) but the only negative for us was that the rear seat of the copter was not comfortable for 4 full-size adults for that length of journey.
Indescribable the whole flight was awesome, Chelsea was a great pilot. Everyone was super friendly and professional. You feel like you’re flying with family.
Flying over the Grand Canyon was an amazing experience and landing on a mesa overlooking the Valley of fFre was awesome.
This is a great tour! You see everything and you get a short stop on the way. Between the gran Canuon, lake mead, valley of fire and the strip, we couldn't ask for more. The strip pass over after sunset was fabulous. We got extra landing due to Kamala's visit to LV. Nice bonus! Highly recommend this tour. Arthur, our pilot was really good.
Staff were awesome. Hotel pick up was convenient. Very expensive though particularly with third party commissions.
Awesome trip to the Grand Canyon and Fire Valley. Our pilot Arthur made it a very memorable experience with some nice little manoeuvres thrown in to make it more thrilling. His running commentary of the sights we flew over was also very enjoyable and informative, as was the stunning views. Expensive, but pleased we paid the extra money to do this at sunset as the sun going down over fire valley was quite stunning. The return flight taking in the light shows of the strip was also very memorable..
Didn't get the pickup time properly communicated despite calling in the day before. Any earlier tour companies driver gave us a custom first in line drop off just to make the flight. Sitting in the sun/very hot helo and very poor AC combined for a fight than was too damn hot the whole time. Windows should be cleaned off so picts would be clearer. Loop in was nice so both sides could see but middle seat back/middle seat folks are just along for a ride. Flight itself had more vibration than I remember and the heat plus the occasion fuel/exhaust smell had me queasy by the time we hit the canyon. Fire canyon stop was very unique and the slightly cooler temp helped. The sunset over the bluff was memorable. Return path through the strip was nice.
Worth the price to see the Canyon from above. A knowledgeable, friendly pilot who simply enhanced the experience. Landed in a remote location to enjoy the sun setting and the colours in fire valley were extremely impressive. A quick drink stop and then we flew down the strip to enjoy the lights from the air....definitely worth doing!
First class all the way on this trip. 5 Star Helicopters picked us up at the Venetian where we were staying, and took us over to their lounge/hanger at the airport. We met Chris, a very personable and excellent pilot - who made all of us feel very safe and comfortable prior to heading out to the Canyon. The sights were breath taking - flying out of Las Vegas, past Hoover Dam, into the Canyon and soaring over the Colorado River. I can't imagine a better way to see these natural wonders - and Chris was great at explaining the history and pointing out land marks. Stopping at the Valley of Fire was a real treat, as we got to get out and walk the area - and enjoyed some champagne to mark the experience. Truly a trip not to be missed!!
I would’ve preferred for the helicopter to land in the Grand Canyon like other companies too. Also going to the red fire landing and spending an hour there. felt too long. Also, I feel like our guide did not give us a good tour. When I asked questions he didn’t have the answer I would like to know more about the terrain, geological, formations, etc..
Landing on the plateau at the Valley of Fire!!! The pilot was excellent. The views were amazing. We enjoyed the trip very much!!!
We did this trip for our 27th wedding anniversary. It was fantastic! The views were amazing and the vantage point you are able to see of the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Valley of Fire and the Las Vegas strip is breathtaking. Our pilot Christie was phenomenal. So knowledgeable and personable which made our experience so enjoyable. I’d recommend this trip to anyone who wants a once in a lifetime experience and memories you will cherish forever! Our pictures don’t do the scenery justice!!! Thanks for a fabulous excursion!!
My girlfriend and I got engaged on this tour! Our pilot, Bethany, was amazing with helping me to make it a total surprise!! It was a perfect day. Thank you!!
Enjoyed from beginning to end. Did the lake/dam then on to the canyon. On the way back landed at Red rock and the strip at sunset. Chad was great. Knowledgeable and personable. Pricey at 650.00 but compared to Sphere at 200.00 for the movie, no contest.
All of it!! Would definitely recommend this experience. Something I Will remember for ever. Landing in the ring of fire was awesome.
This was an amazing ride, and the touch down at the Valley of Fire was the highlight of the evening.
Amazing experience. Best way to see the Grand Canyon and Hoover damn. Smooth ride and beautiful views.
My daughter and I had an amazing time with our pilot stefanie. She was very knowledgeable and made our flight very comfortable and relaxing. The views are out of this world! You will NOT regret booking this!
Duration of trip was ample at approx 3 hrs, great pick up and drop off from hotel.Good customer service and friendly staff and knowledgeable Pilot who made the trip very pleasant. I would certainly recommend this experience.
Our original tour was cancelled due to an issue with the helicopter. They rescheduled us for a different tour the next day and we were not disappointed. Captain Kyle was an awesome pilot. He made sure we were comfortable and gave us fun facts along the way making the tour very interesting in addition to the breathtaking views.
Pilot was predictable, put tall attractive girl in front seat and me older woman in back surrounded by 4 solid, tall men. I didn't see the Grand Canyon!!!! Everyone put their phones up to take pictures or videos blocking what little I could see. Mad dog called the attractive girl by her name and called me a nickname. I'm usually a happy and excited person, but I was sad and disappointed. My worst flying experience ever... It cost us US$500 US, NZ $830. This was on my bucket list, a one I a lifetime trip. I understand weights, etc, but I also understand the industry. 'Mad dog' could have done better. Think hard before you spend your money. The 5 star reviews are all subjective to where you get to sit.
Had the most memorable experience couldn’t recommend this enough. Our pilot Jack was fantastic from start to finish and even chose perfect music for our flight. We had a perfect sunset for our toast with Champagne in a stunning setting!
We picked this due to the reviews, detail on Viator, and prior experience in Helicopter tours and with Viator. The reservation process was easy...pickup times changed multiple times (once due to to us in changing hotels), but the pickup from the hotel was great...on time and in communication. The pre-flight process was very easy and straightforward. The pilot was extremely transparent in operation, courteous, experienced, and safe. The helicopter itself was tight, but....it is a helicopter after all, it's going to be tight. Photos taken during the flight were amazing. The visit to the Valley of Fire was not viable due to a storm. Although managing the actions due to weather is part of the experience for such an event. We left feeling that the prior visibility into the storm was possible...and that alternative scheduling could have been done versus going through with the schedule despite the weather. No response yet from the tour company to find out how/if compensation will work due to the lack of completing the trip...waiting to hear from them. Instead of the planned trip to land in the Valley of Fire to view the sunset, we flew to the Grand Canyon western rim, landed at the West Rim Airport, took in some amazing views, and went back to the Las Vegas airport tour company hanger, then shuttled back to the hotel. Not sure when our next time would ever be, but would definitely consider doing this again as the pilot and trip were extraordinary. We just got unlucky in attempting to overcome mother nature, who can be finicky, but will never be beaten.
It was amazing. Beautiful scenery! Loved it! I would recommend it to all my friends and family! Best helicopter experience ever!
It was so much fun. Our pilot Ryan was the best!! I was scared and it wasn’t bad at all. The best trip attraction!!! 10/10 recommended
One of the best things I’ve ever done. And the pilot was a legend. Photos just don’t do it justice, so I haven’t uploaded any.
