The prices were way too high for the amount of ads that were everywhere. As you drive in there are ads, there are ads in each display, probably 60% of the lights are just ad space. There was also some questionable messaging that I didn't love. Overall the kids enjoyed the lights. I left knowing we won't be back.

It’s more hype than anything. Just ok. Should have more lights along with being able to drive onto the raceway.
The amount of lights and themes was incredible! It was magical driving thru. The live manger was beautiful and unexpected. The boy scouts at the entrance were polite and adorable.
Awesome, very well organized event. A bit of a line getting in but three lanes coming in. Super nice folks and well worth the trip. Especially great you can order and have hand delivered delicious, hot cocoa from your car!! Once you begin the 2.5 mile light drive thousands of unique light displays and music you can tune your radio too. This will become an annual event for our family. One $35 entry fee for each car. A real bargain, great holiday tradition.
Lovely lights and well worth the trip. We came at Christmas Eve around 7pm and traffic was busy but we were escorted through fairly quickly.
They lights and staff were friendly. We got cool free stuff on entering.. BUT….. the radio station… had on commercial almost the whole ride. Instead of music …. That was really disappointing.
Terrible experience. It was more than an hour 15 minute wait before getting into the actual event. restrooms had two stalls open with no sinks. Not sure how employees handling food can wash their hands.
If you like Christmas Lights, Glittering Lights is a must-do. Pick up some hot cocoa and kettle corn at the entrance, tune your radio or phone to HoHo radio and off you got driving through the display. You will wind around the outside of Las Vegas Motor Speedway, under the grandstands and by motor home hill. Over 5 million lights will light your way. Personal favorites are the displays under the grandstands and the light tunnels by motor home hill. I have driven my car, a golf card and one of the trams through a number of times and almost every trip see something new. Very organized and well run, and best of all, part of your admission price goes to support Speedway Children’s Charities. New displays every year, make it a family tradition.
This is a fun little outing to see Holiday lights. Extra bonus is getting to see the Speedway at night without the crowds.
Very unorganized and not given what promised. Did not get free hot chocolates promised nor discounted price when received my statement that I had gotten when ordering tickets.went last year and enjoyed it. This year it's turned into just a scam for money ...
The hot chocolate was excellent and lights were beautiful. Highly recommend. Wasn’t too long for small children to enjoy.
This was so good! Everyone was patient and waited in line. Concessions were inexpensive and delicious, and the lights were Fantastic! It was much more of an experience than I thought it would be. Kind of like going to the drive-in movies a long time ago. We listened to Christmas music during the drive and it took my mom back down memory lane; yet it was fresh and now. I almost cried to see how much she enjoyed the outing and appreciated the work that went into creating it. We loved it! It helped me this holiday season and I feel better. Yay, for the live Nativity and the end! Thank you.
This is high priced even with coupons offered everywhere! You go and drive yourself through. Yes, there are alot of lights which are donated and sponsored by the community retailers etc....
Had such a great time. I really appreciated the salute to our troops displays. The kettlecorn is a must!
A great, fun experience during the holiday season for all ages. Both kids and adults can enjoy the millions of lights, holiday tunes, and treats. A must-do every holiday season!
Went with my girlfriend in 2022 and did the PJ5K -- we didn't run, just had a lovely stroll through the light park with fellow attendees. It was an absolute blast, this year we're going to take our Christmas card photo there!
Love this experience and can't wait for this year - it's so nice to be able to see so much from the car and make it your own night! So many lights, and such a nice overall experience
Such a great family-friendly holiday experience, great for both adults and kids of all ages! Festive, beautiful, fun!
My grand babies loved Santa Tram snuggled up in blankets. Watching their faces was priceless. We'll definitely go again this year.
This was super cute and super fun to do during the Holidays! Happens every year at the Speedway north of Vegas. You get hot cocoa in your car and drive through the amazing Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music. They did a really great job and it was nice and long! It would be cool if the music synced up to the lights somehow while driving through. The people at the gate were super nice and be sure to bring some tip money for the Boy Scouts who are helping out! They also sell snacks too if you want to munch on something during the drive….
Thousands of lights done beautifully with Las vegas theme in there too! Be prepared for lineups. Loved that it’s a fundraiser for children
Great venue! Very very beautiful with all the lights and themes!! So glad we decided to check it out!
Sat in line for an hour and a half with no way of leaving. Pretty lights, but not worth the wait. Would have rather say home and watched CW
It was way better and bigger than I expected. I recommend getting some hot chocolate on your way up to the track.
I hate to rate a drive-through holiday light spectacular as "just okay," but the entire process was a big letdown. I purchased a discounted ticket ($25 per car) to check out the Glittering Lights display, a 2.5 mile stretch of Christmas lights that decorate the Las Vegas Raceway. We had been warned of long lines, so we arrived early (around 5 pm) on a Tuesday night. The line of cars stretched back to the Interstate! There were signs stating a posted wait time from that point (supposedly 60 minutes). It took us almost TWO HOURS to get into the display! They try to sell you on the "Fastpass" line, which is an additional $50. But you don't have to wait. I think that's crazy, but if you have money to burn then go for it. The traffic here is bonkers. They have a system where they wave five cars through at a time, but they have 3 separate lanes so it takes forever. We waited almost an hour in the first line. Once you get to the second line area, there are people walking around trying to sell you stuff (raffle tickets, overpriced popcorn, hot chocolate). Three lines merging into one is pure chaos, but at least the employees try their best to direct traffic. Once we got up to the entry point, we were each given a pitiful little peppermint candy and off we went. Headlights off, please. The lights were pretty cool, but not very creative. It's basically a bunch of cutouts with lights strung through. If you've always wanted to see a light-up Carrabba's Italian Grill logo, you prayers will be answered. There is at least an attempt at some theming, with an "Under the Sea" area, a "Safari" area (the best), a "Race Track" area, a "Dinosaur" section, and a "Vegas Sports" section, among others. It's hard to tell what you're looking at unless you look ahead into the distance. The best part is the "Neon Forest," an absolutely gorgeous stretch of lighted trees. I really loved that, and anyone who likes lights will likely agree. It takes about 12 minutes or so to drive through, but I felt like we were rushed because employees kept waving people to drive faster. After that long wait, I wish I could've taken my time to really soak it all in! I have always wanted to do the Glittering Lights experience, and this seemed like the perfect year to do it since it's a very safe activity (you stay in your car and don't have contact with anyone). But I won't ever do it again. Honestly, you can see much better lights for free (and without a crazy long line) in your own neighborhood. My tips as a first-timer: 1. Make sure your car is full of gas and the heater works. 2. Go to the bathroom beforehand (they do have port-a-potties set up while you wait). 3. Try to stay in the far right lanes during your entire wait. You can see more lights / Santa / carolers that way.
We go every year but this year it was especially great because you are able to do this activity while social distancing.
The lights were great. 5 yr. Old loved it, it's the waiting that's horrible. Ended up paying an extra $40 to move to the fast pass lane.
The lights were amazing, but there has to be a way to make the line move better. The popcorn was delicious.
We went there for the 1st time and were expecting more. I think children will probably enjoy it more than adults, even though we do love Christmas lights. We were just expecting a bit more, it overall it was an OK visit
This is the second time i've been here in the past 5 years. They were real busy on Tuesday when we arrived and took about 20 minutes before we go to the front of the line in our vehicle. I'm sure they should have a better system by now, or at least do a reservation system to alleviate the congestion of traffic. The lights themselves have added more then my previous visit, but for the price they charge, I see a lot of room for improvement on adding more lights in open spaces that could make it a better experience.... i'm not too sure i'll return for this event any time soon.
We bought tickets last night online drive 45 minutes to get there and it was not opened. So hopefully, when we go it will be worth it. We saw the pretty lights/decorations from afar.
