Amazing tour and guide! We learned so much from the trip and our guide was awesome. It was very spooky at times and we were left with a lot of thought. Price was great and length of it was perfect and nothing rushing.
We really enjoyed this 90 minute walking tour around downtown Las Vegas. We learned all about the ghosts, brothels, and mobsters that started this town.
Lively history lesson of the mob, etc influences on the development of Las Vegas. We did experience paranormal energies.
This “ghost” tour was nothing more than a walk around the block the history of LA Vegas. Although the history was interesting, I feel like calling it a ghost tour is overselling the experience. I could have went to each place and googled the information for free rather than wasting my time walking it with a guide. We had some elder, slow walking folks with us and it felt as though trying to keep up with the guide was like running a marathon. We are avid participants in all spooky and supernatural but this your was not it. If you want a history lesson you could have pulled off google and read yourself this is the tour for you.
Valley was a wonderful guide! He had lots of info and trivia and actually spent more than 89 minutes with us. He felt like we were part of his family and ge was like the son I never had:)
The guide was very strange, and although he provided “ghost” related information, this was by far the worst tour we’ve been on. Some of his comments were inappropriate and odd. The tour went over by 30 minutes. He never asked if we enjoyed the tour-he told us he knew we did at the end and followed it with “this is the part where you can tip me or not-most people do”, making it very awkward. We tipped him just to get away. Maybe the tour is good? But we did not get to experience that.
We had a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, and we would highly recommend this tour. We can't wait to go on a tour again on our next vacation town
Our guide was very informative, friendly knowledgeable, we had a great tour. Would do this tour again.
We had an amazing tour tonight. Getting to hear history of different locations, both of well known and not so well known places and people. It was a great way to end my trip to visit family.
We went on a ghost tour w/ Allen and loved every minute of it. Allen was comedic, knowledgable, and very personable. He even included a few stops that weren’t typically included on the tour because we were such a small group. We can’t recommend a tour w/ Allen enough!
The tour guide was absolutely amazing in the story telling, and sense of humor! I would and I will definitely recommend to family and friends!
Alan (?), our tour guide was phenomenal!!! We had a hiccup with where to meet originally, but the reschedule was seamless! Google wanted us to meet at the mall on the strip. Actual meeting place is the corner across from the Mob Museum. If your tour guide has an ornete walking stick, you are in for an absolute treat. We went at our own pace, and he was extremely kind and patient. He interlaces history with pop culture references. Explaining details that Hollywood dramitized and what they got correct. Since I had minors, we couldn't fully do the casino portion of the tour, but he more than made up for it with extra stops off the beaten path. The tour felt tailor-made to us! He was extremely knowledgeable! At the end, we got extra stories and Vegas tidbits! He even took our picture! The only photos I have with my sons that I didn't have to purchase! :)
We were REALLY looking forward to doing something unique in Vegas and this looked perfect. Booked the experience for 6 of us and was then told they had stopped tours in Vegas. Looked like so much fun, really too bad. Went on a ghost tour in New Orleans, so we were really looking forward to this, darn!
Alan was a great tour guide. He was informative. He provided very detailed facts. He was very suspenseful with his story telling!!
Had a great time on this tour! Mary was a very fun and informative docent. In addition to the tour info, she also gave great recommendations on things to do and where to eat.
It was a great tour. Lots of fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and showed us a good time. Thank you very much
Our guide was amazing! Funny, sweet and really knowledgeable about Vegas Dark past (and present). Also gave us great tips on the downtown area. Totally recommend this tour for anyone who’d like to do something more than gambling and drinking.
We liked hearing the history of the early days of Las Vegas. Walking around downtown was new for us, too.
My co-worker and I needed to get away from some work events and selected the Ghosts of Las Vegas Walking tour to do so! It just so happens that I have my own personal interests in stories about historical hauntings and I wasn't let down with this tour. Jim was our tour guide and I would like to say that I may have made a friend for life in him! Not only was he informative, and clearly had done his own research to back up the stories, but he was entertaining and even shared some of his own personal photos and stories. I also appreciated that everything was run in a very timely manner and I felt like we had enough time at each location to really soak things in. As a special touch, Jim texted a picture that he took of our group the next day as a nice reminder of the time we had. I really recommend this tour, especially if you're specifically interested in the history of downtown Las Vegas.
We had a great time doing the Ghosts of Las Vegas Walking Tour with our tour guide, Mary! It was a great way to learn more about Las Vegas, see some sights and get recommendations for the rest of our trip. I would highly recommend.
Our guide Sandy was incredibly knowledgeable about the locations and history of Las Vegas’ Notorious murders. She even provided water and took us indoors for the tour because it was definitely needed in the desert summer night heat. She even had recommendations for a great bite to eat!
Sandy our tour guide was very sweet and we loved all her gun facts :) the high school was the most interesting of the tour as we actually got to see a spirit! Definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in haunted history :)
Our guide Sandy knew all the right points of interest and stories that had chills running thru mind even on a summer evening
Had so much fun! Jordan did a great job and my family lived learning all the new tidbits about Las Vegas.
Nice way to pass the time. Our guide was informative, showed us some pictures and was very personable. Guide included some of his friend’s personal experiences which was pretty cool.
Ms Mary was extremely knowledgeable and charismatic. We had a great time, saw downtown Vegas, and learned a lot
I like when the tours are focused on the history of the area, The stories seemed a bit sensationalized rather than historical facts
Our book club went on this walking tour after reading some paranormal books. It was absolutely awesome. We live in Las Vegas and didn't know most of these stories… And everyone had some unusual experiences. I highly recommend this walking tour
My husband and I are avid travellers and typically do a ghost walk on each adventure. You usually get to hear some great history along the way and some exciting ghost stories. Unfortunately this was not good. There was nothing exciting or ghostly about it. The other family we joined captured my attention with their knowledge and stories more than Jim, our guide, did. We started by the mob museum which I’ve heard is a fabulous museum and I should have spent my time and money there instead. He chatted there for about 15 minutes and left me wanted to actually get walking. We then walked to the Binion which his claim to ghosts was which curtains were closed last week. 🙄. Again, we stood for 15 minutes while he talked. I was ready to leave at this point but my hubby convinced me to continue further. Another 15 minutes in we were passing Fremont Street and I grabbed my hubby and left. I said that given it was my money and my time, I’d rather enjoy the atmosphere on Fremont for the a few more hours. Sorry, this one didn’t make a passing grade for me. It’s the first fail I’ve ever given after many, many tours.
Eliana did an amazing job showing us around downtown Las Vegas. She shared lots of stories and was very engaging!
Amazing tour! Our guide was Jim and he was super friendly and excited about what he does. He gave us great information and added a little history which we love. Would definitely recommend Jim and this tour.
We had so much fun! Mary B was an excellent guide! Would recommend to all who wants a little something different.
I travelled by taxi from the strip to the meeting point which cost me $30 each way ($60 in total). I waited at the meeting point from 1950 to 2015 but no one showed up. When I eventually got back to my hotel and had Wi-Fi I seen that Las Vegas ghost tours had sent me an email at 1815 cancelling the event and offering alternative(unsuitable) date which would have incurred an additional $60 in taxi fares. The notice of cancellation was unreasonably short and the mode of communication was unsuitable. I’m extremely disappointed and do not like people wasting my time
Tour guide mumbled and could not remember the script. There were no ghosts on this tour, just a badly executed history tour.
This tour was so boring! No ghost stories, and the tour guide forgot names, significant dates, and even mispronounced certain data points. It was so bad, several attendees left the tour before it ended. The tour guide almost begged for tips and reminded the group several times during the tour that she needed tips to survive. We tipped her at the end, but it was out of pity and not for the quality of the tour. I would encourage anyone seeking a ghost tour to look elsewhere and not book with “Ghosts of Las Vegas”. It is a waste of time and money and the title is definitely a misnomer. This is my fourth or fifth ghost tour and I would write this one off and say, “Look elsewhere!”
Mary was an excellent tour guide. She explained the history and kept us interested the whole time. A couple of our pictures had caught orbs at the haunted locations. She took us to one the most haunted hotels in old Vegas as well. Definitely would recommend doing this tour and requesting Mary, you won't regret it.
One word to describe this Ghost tour = boring! Couldn't hear the guide half the time. So listening to him mumble about history while all the sounds of the city completely drowned him out. It really was just so BORING. I wanted to love it, but damn it was blah. SKIP this. There was about 13 of us and everyone was complainng they couldn't hear the guide. Maybe provide a microphone and speaker so we know what the hell is being said. Nice dude, but this tour fell very flat.
Mary B was so absolutely amazing. Very funny and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the focus on history. Would definitely recommend to others!
The tour gave me lots of past insight on the history of vegas. I never knew about all the hauntings of my city and now I am able to share them with visitors
My tour with Jim was great! He was very informative. He knew the extensive history of Las Vegas and it’s local haunts. I learned a significant amount of history about the vintage casinos of downtown. Much of it went along with what I learned at The Mob Museum. I toured The Mob Museum then walked right across the street for the ghost tour. I was pleased at how conveniently that worked out. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
We caught some orbs at the old high school. Our tour guide Mary was fun and spoiled us with good details. I was a little worried about safety due to the area being dark and random intoxicated individuals walking by but she assured me she could do karate 😉 and the police were always near by. Now we feel like we need a tour by Mary every trip because she felt like that fun family member you want to catch up with. Most importantly this tour impressed my teens. They learned a lot and swore they felt spirits near us.
Great fun. Very personable! Jim was interesting to listen to. Didn’t see any negative energy but got creeped out at the haunted high school. Highly recommend!
You will not know much more after this then you did before. You will not be able to go into places and will never know why the tower is called the tower of evil.
A lot of fun. Our guide tiffy was amazing. Learned alot of great history of las vegas . It was my daughter's 40th birthday and being vegas locals we were looking for something different to do
Our tour guide Mary was so kind and knowledgeable! She knew so many fun facts about DT Vegas history!
I am a Las Vegas native and thought I knew a lot about my city ! This tour was fantastic and the tour guide brought the past to life! So much I didn’t know about the mob and events that still haunt the city!
Renee did an exceptional job of spinning her tales of old Vegas, and then describing the haunts that people still experience today. It was a fun experience, as well as interesting.
Renee was absolutely outstanding! She was knowledgeable and really answered all of our questions. Our family loves history so, we had tons of questions! Thank you for such a memorable experience along with the unexpected add one including thunder, lightning, and the fire alarm going off at one of our haunted sites!! Great pics!!
Rosie did an amazing job on our tour. She was friendly and very knowledgeable about local history. She was able to answer any of the questions we asked. We would highly recommend taking this tour with her.
