Great time, very scenic. Guide was fun snd provided plenty of info and guidance.
Exceptional day! The experience was well worth it. The timing of everything was accurate and allowed for an overall positive experience. I would highly recommend this tour!
The Kayak tour was awesome. It's scenic and worth the time and money if you are around Las Vegas. Our Guide Justin was awesome, funny and knowledgeable and helpful. He was helpful with all the setup and "how to" for the Kayaking.
This was a 4 mile paddle at a good pace. The canyon is beautiful. Xander, our guide was fantastic. I have physical limitations and he was right there to assist me. He is kind, patient, knowledgeable and have us a fun trip. Make sure the sun is out of you want to see the emerald color best. It was overcast and still beautiful on my trip.
We had beautiful weather and the tour guide was absolutely phenomenal! I wasn't sure what to expect for the tour although I did anticipate that we would kayak through caves and not just cove that we back up into and took a picture. None the less it was still an adventure to remember! Being on the river was a great way to spend the day off the strip. We swam in the river and enjoyed the company of all the other kayaker's. Our tour guide even stopped on the way back for us to see the big horn sheep.
Robby was a great guide. As we visited when it was raining and we opted to go either way, we got drenched but loved the waterfalls coming down the mountains during our tour! Once in a lifetime!
Amazing trip highly recommended! Best activity of our trip to vegas. Lovely get away from the strip and the money grab! Everything went smoothly and guide was lovely.
Amazing! Plan to get wet. Would totally do again! You get great pictures and the views are unmatched.
10/10 would recommend this kayak tour to anyone who asked!! This is definitely, a beginner friendly trip that non-pro kayakers can participate in. Our tour guide Kwame was AMAZING! He is super helpful if you struggle with paddling and provides a lot of great tips. He provided fun facts all along the way and during our stop for a short walk, he gave us water bottles and snacks! Book this trip, and you won’t regret it!
The travel guide was very friendly and helpful. He was very patience and comical while kayaking down the river.
Definitely a great and easy ride for both my wife and I as it was our first time kayaking. Would 100% do this again.
Beautiful trip on the Colorado river. Our guide Juston was great and helped us get the hang of kayaking as well as provided information about the area including plants and wildlife.
It’s great- need a lot of energy and the Esmerald cave very small ; the tour guide very friendly and professional; it’s an amazing experience
We had the best time with Juston. He was great and did a great job knowing everyone. The tour itself was the best experience we had in Vegas , the views were great with amazing company. Highly recommend it.
My husband and I had a wonderful time kayaking the Colorado River. The weather was perfect, the water was cool, and out guide was funny. A lot of history was shared about the area, while st the same time some pretty good jokes. Highly recommend
Absolutely beautiful paddle! I would recommend it. The canyons and water color were breathtaking. Our guide, Johnny, was very friendly, and the price was reasonable. There were about 12 people in our group. However, the wind was very strong during the paddle to the Emerald Green Cave, but it was calm on the way back. The Emerald Green Cave was very small and a little bit disappointing. Our group was a little too spread out, and I did not hear the guide's historical comments.
We just finished the Emerald Cave kayak tour and had an amazing experience. Beautiful views all throughout the tour and the weather in October was perfect. Very reasonably priced and the shuttle to and from Vegas was convenient for us. The shuttle drive was about an hour, and the tour on the river was 3 hours with some relaxation time to swim in the Colorado River. Our tour group was 9 people with mostly single kayaks. If you get Johnny as your tour guide, you are going to have a great time. He was great all around, answered tons of questions and took great pictures for everyone! Also thanks to Johnny, we got to see some big horn sheep up close, which was awesome!
This was the perfect excursion to get out of the city! Kayaking was leisurely and our guide was very knowledgeable. We stopped at a beach for a swim and a snack break. Water was gorgeous and worth a swim! The cove itself was a bit underwhelming but the full kayaking experience was phenomenal. Definitely recommend and bring water shoes! If you don’t have them there’s a shop you can buy them at!
Bring an extra towel for cushioning. The kayak seats will eventually leave you with a numb tailbone.
Kayak trip was great. Beautiful sites all around the river. Water was cold and clear (green). Overall fantastic day!
Fantastic experience at the Emerald Cave. Calm waters, easy paddling, and beautiful scenery the whole way. The 4‑hour trip included a relaxed two‑mile paddle to the cave and back. Our guide Juston was excellent — friendly, informative, and made the day memorable. Highly recommend.
Bring backpack and water shoes or sandles and snacks. Justin our tour Guide was great, very respectful and friendly funny guy and gave us lots of knowledge about the area overall was a great first time experience wouldn’t want to do it with any other guide thanks Justin.
Great guide! Beautiful day and scenery! So cool kayaking on the Colorado River! Can’t ask for more than that!
Can’t fault the tour guide but this is nothing more than a kayak trip . Emerald cave is a stretch and enhanced imagery advertised . On a dull day it’s just a tiny cave dull and colourless . Nothing magical I’m sad to say
This was such a wonderful experience nothing compares to the natural beauty that you get to experience on this tour! A must do to get away for a bit from a busy life!
Fun excusion on the Colorado River. Our Guide John was excellent. Funny. Great with a Camera. Very knowledgable about the landscape, animals and plants. In summary, I would recommend it to everyone who has a chance.
This tour was great. We went a total of eight and the accommodated us all together in one group. Easy drive back and forth, and we even got to see some wildlife on the way back.
Great experience... Johnny was great-- kept us engaged--very knowledgeable-let us go at our own pace...We even got to go on a small hike (optional) and saw GOATS!!
Johnny the tour guide was amazing.Very knowledgeable, fun to hang out with. It was such a fun experience. I would definitely do it again.
We had an amazing time. Zen and his helpers were perfect. Friendly, informative and helpful. We learned a lot about Vegas and nature along the way. I would highly recommend!!
Josh took us on the kayak tour. We loved it. He was informative and very helpful. The views were magnificent. We saw wildlife, namely goats eagles and huge bass fish chasing trout. We had a swim and went to a great spot to take beautiful photos of the water.
It was beautiful and awsome. The water was emerald green. Thr cave was a sight to see. Alot of history on that lake you would never know about
If taking the shuttle stay at Mandalay Bay if you don’t have a car because Uber service is confusing. Trip, fast paced, beautiful scenery. Guides should better utilize shady areas during the trip. Consider the mud issues and try to adjust for that. The paddle trip itself should be slower paced in order to take in scenery, nature and historical aspects of the surroundings. Our guide, Xander, was professional, friendly and interacted with all visitors. He shared his musical talents with us on the paddle which enhanced our experience and the water and cave were beautiful.
Robby was an amazing guide. Our whole group was super fun to spend the day with. Would definitely recommend this excursion! Relaxing, beautiful sites, and great people!
This is a fairly easy kayak to Emerald Cave, which I've always wanted to see. Of course, it's not what one imagines, but it was lovely. I was amazed at just how many people were on the water here! Had to wait to get in line. Our guide pointed out wildlife, gave us information about the Colorado River. It was a great experience and when someone swamped he was right on it. Would recommend this tour.
The Guide and staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. Emerald Cave itself is not very big/impressive. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and we are glad we did it. Created some good memories and pictures.
The guide was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and good at his job. The actual emerald cove was disappointing . It was still a great ride and a destination so it worked. Why one star? This is important please keep reading. I was doing a tour across the US. This was something my father and I talked about doing. Unfortunately he had a 3 story fall at work and never came home. Myself I am disabled, I suffer from 24hr chronic pain and involuntary limb movements and it’s getting worse not better with age. This is the first attempt at something like this in my life because it’s better to be in your own house when you scream in pain or need to dance around to subdue the pain. So I was alone, travelling for the first time for vacation. Another first at age 47. I am unable to do long plane rides etc because I can’t sit still. I raced back in my kayak because the exercise exasperated my pain and I needed my meds immediately. I placed my 259.00 ear buds on my kayak while I ran to my car telling the operator I would be back in a minute. I took my meds grabbed a tip for the tour guide and turned to walk to the kayak only to see the guy who collects the kayaks flip mine to clean it dumping my headphones into the Colorado river mud. I knew immediately they were gone, I knew he did not do it intentionally so I decided to avoid making a scene and possibly costing them business, or for that matter allowing negativity to disrupt my vacation I would tell the company when I got home. My response was so disappointed I reviewed one star. Because I did not complain that day I am told they know what happened to my headphones better than me and I am mistaken. Holy gas light the customer Batman. Nice, I likely would not use the company again and would go out of my way to warn others because of the response. James Skog
Our awesome experience kayaking down the Colorado river to the Emerald Green Cave was led by the incredible Robby. His knowledge of mountainous terrain and sparse but forever useful vegetation was very entertaining. He was also extremely helpful and made for a great day for all. Highly recommended.
Amazing excursion from Vegas. Easy pickup at Mandalay Bay. Guide was outstanding and it was a perfect day on the river and Emerald Cove. Highly recommend!!
Cave was a little disappointing but the views of the rocks and river are breathtaking! Our tour guide was great! All around great trip!
The views were beautiful. The water was clear and cold. The guide was very personable and outgoing. It was a great reset. If you’re in the Vegas area and you want to get away from the shiny bells and whistles, this is the absolute perfect thing to do.
We had an awesome experience with Xen who was great … wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet and muddy don’t forget the sun lotion …. 5 star recommendation
Has a blast. Zen, our guide, has lots of info. He was also super nice and laid back. Water is clear and beautiful color. It’s a 4 mile round trip on the kayaks.
You will need water shoes and maybe a hat fantastic views experienced and friendly guide would 💯 do it again
Well worth it. Amazing scenery paddling on the Colorado. Our guide, Zen was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back and do it again. One of the absolute highlights of our trip to Las Vegas!
Beautiful scenery. Juston was s fantastic tour guide and we really enjoyed our morning on the river.
This was my first time and Justen was amazing he made sure everyone was as safe as could be and also gave great instructions.
It was a nice day on the Colorado River. We used the van pick up and drop off at Mandalay Bay which was super convenient. Left at 9:00 am dropped off at 4:00 pm. Only water and light snack was provided, so bring some food with you. The cave was a “destination” and turn around point, but not anything more than that. Don’t expect to see anything like the picture. The scenic mountains, the river, and the history stories are what made the adventure worthwhile.
This was a great adventure trip if you’re visiting Las Vegas. The drive there and back didn’t take long. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous!
