Great way to escape, loved the kayaking adventure, it’s smooth and fun to do. Highly recommend booking this tour.

Loved it and want to do again with more family and friends. Jonny was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of history. Must do !!! Better then any Vegas casino and restaurant experience. Natural wonders!!!
My experience with this company was they charged me for other services that I did not want and need. Have not much getting any response from them on the extra charges.
Highly recommend, especially if you’re doing 3+ days on the strip. Our guide Johnny was also the exceptional.
Easy pick up, great driver/guide, Robby is enthusiastic and helpful, makes sure you’re going okay, funny and nice to chat to. He stopped on the way back at a random park just so that we could see some of the wild bighorn sheep that were there. It was incredible and a memory for me forever. The canyon itself is absolutely beautiful and the whole trip from start to finish was easy and enjoyable. Thanks so much for an experience I will never forget.
A 2 mile kayak ride up river to a small cave and then back. Not as impressive as the pictures suggest, but still a nice day on the river.
The kayak experience was great. The view was absolutely beautiful. We did not upgrade to include a tour guide. I don’t regret it. The tour guide is not needed. The kayak path was easy and there is no way you can get lost. The only disappointment was that we were not told a list of things to bring until 1 hour before the pickup time. By that time, we were already on our way to the meeting point so we were not well prepared. Poor planning on the part of the tour operator.
Wear sunscreen… no lockers Nice adventure Enjoyed the entire day. Long drive but tour guide was very goid
Outstanding experience with our great guide Kwame. Very friendly, informative and fun. Saw good wildlife
This was our first time kayaking and didn't know what to expect. Our guide, Jonny, made everything run smoothly and had our entire group feeling completely comfortable beforehand. He is very knowledgeable of the area and history. He is also very funny and accommodating. He stopped at Boulder City on the way back to let us see some big horn sheep and take some pictures. Very nice touch Jonny! Made the day even more special. Overall a great experience. Highly recommend. Thanks again Jonny!
Experience was amazing, this was our 2nd time doing this tour and we would definitely do it again, our guide was awesome, super informative and funny which was a plus. The pick up and drop off was very organized and we stopped on the way back to see the big horns which was a plus. The kayaks are very well kept and the amount of time spent on the water is perfect, the pace is great as well. Will definitely do again and highly recommend this company.
The kayaking through the canyons was amazing. Our guide was great! The emerald cave was a bit disappointing based on the photos from the internet. All in all, a great experience.
We had the pleasure of experiencing the Emerald Cave Kayak Tour in July 2026, honestly it was one of the best days of our holiday. Our guide Kwame was absolutely brilliant and looked after us all day, the river was gorgeous and calm, perfect conditions and the location of Willow beach is just lovely, so peaceful. We highly recommend this day out, even our teenage kids loved it, it’s not a strenuous workout as you go at your own pace and the views are spectacular. Again, thank you Kwame for a great experience. Regards – Jason Campbell (UK)
It was easy to book, easy communication, and a great time on the Colorado River! We opted to meet the group at the launch site since we needed to pick up snacks and drinks. The weather was quite warm, but the breeze on the water and the ability to get wet kept us cool. The trip is a down-and-back and on the day we went it was just as much work to get down the river as it was to get back - partly due to the wind. The key to not waiting in line to see the Emerald Cave is to get going early!
Kwarme was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and polite. I thought the value was good for what we did. However, I was under the impression that this trip was just a morning excursion, but we had to be at the pickup spot by 8:40 AM and were not dropped off until 3:15 PM. On top of that, no lunch was provided, and I felt that wasn't acceptable or clearly communicated.
Great experience highly recommend Jsut an hour outside of Vegas we really enjoyed taking in some nature and getting out of the busy city for a couple hours
Absolutely loved It!!! Such a beautiful experience. I just wish I would have rented the kayak for a longer time. Just be prepared to wait about an hour to 1.5h to take a picture in the emerald cave but worth it. Also make sure to wear Sunglasses, a Hat, and plenty of sunscreen or long sleeves if you are sensitive.
LV SUP were well organized. Tour Guide Kwame made the experience Enjoyable, Safe, & Fun. Highly Recommend. Better than hanging out on the LV strip. The water & cave were a beautiful Emerald.
Excellent experience! Would highly recommend
Jonnnnny is the man! Very knowledgeable and fun to be with. Would recommend him !
What an amazing experience! The team was really nice and helped us have a great time down the river. They also gave us recommendations on where to eat. Highly recommended!
It was just as described. Worth it! Highly recommended. Convenient pick up from the Strip and such a beautiful spot!
It’s a wonderful paddle on the Colorado River with stunning views. The trip is 4 miles round trip and an easy paddle unless the winds are high. I definitely recommend a guided tour - we had Anthony and he was great! The shuttle leaves from Mandalay Bay and is about an hour’s drive to the launch site. The cave itself is cool but, as Anthony told us, it’s more about the journey than the destination. Expect to wait (45-60 minutes) to enter and only spend 5-10 minutes in the cave itself. Overall I highly recommend if you want to get out of the city and explore the beautiful desert scape.
We had a great time. A bottle of water is provided. They give instructions before you take off and let you know which direction to head.
Absolutely incredible experience! Justin the tour guide was amazing and had some fun jokes. 10/10 would do it again for sure.
This tour was well worth the money. Our guide Jonny was very entertaining and educational from pick up to drop off. I went solo and the group that I was with were awesome and friendly. The day of, Jonny text everyone detailed instructions on how to get to the pick up. I was staying at the Luxor hotel so I took the free tram from there to mandalay bay where the shuttle pick up was at
It was a great experience, it was my wife and step sons first time on a kayak, we got a little tutorial how to paddle, get in and off the kayak and how to avoid injuries in terms of rowing, the “cave” we actually passed by due to us thinking “that can’t be it” as we passed it due to it being so small, we went an additional mile still beautiful if you go further you will go come across an entire empty place where echos sound pretty awesome, I will say the only down side is that there were tons of mosquitos, bring repellant, and have proper form or your elbows will hurt, over all beautiful we saw 3 big horn sheep, you can’t swim by the shore where you take off with your kayak, so make sure to stop further up stream at some spots to jump into the water, definitely go again.
Everything was smooth and easy from booking to being dropped off at the end of the day. There is a shop at the marina where you can buy water shoes/shirts/waterproof bags/sunscreen/hats etc. If needed. Our tour guide, Zen, was fantastic! Super chill with lots of knowledge and he really made our day feel special with some awesome surprises along the way! Can't thank him enough for a lovely last day of our holiday. As first timers, the kayaking instructions were super clear and we were in the water in no time, the journey up the river was so peaceful and the views were stunning. Zen even pointed out lots of views and cool facts on the roadtrip to and from Willow Beach. You really are in great hands and in for an epic day from start to finish, thank you!!
Zen and Austin were great guides! Patient, funny and informative. Safe and scenic kayak trip and highly recommend to others.
Triston was great! Got us out there and on the water fast and made it a fun time! Lots of jokes and good music on the way home made it seem like a quick trip there and back!
Arrive a bit early to ensure you’re able to find the location okay and to ensure you have everything you need such as water and perhaps granola bars. They provided us with cold waters also which was amazing! Ensure you have a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen! Water shoes can help if you wanted to get out. It was a very easy kayak adventure with exquisite views and some history! One of the highlights of our vacation, totally worth it!
Had the best time with my friends. The best part of the trip was finding a little side beach and spending the day out on the water. I’m thankful we picked a non tour experience because we were able to go at a pace we wanted for the day. If you picked guided it’s way more structured of a trip. Regardless everyone in charge was super kind and helpful. 10/10
We got picked up in Vegas and it was a beautiful experience kayaking. Robbie was a great guide. Would definitely do this again
Anthony was a great guide and made the experience very fun! He even stopped at a park on the ride back so we could see some great horned sheep! Beautiful scenery and I would highly recommend this tour!
Anthony did a phenomenal job on our tour! We had so much fun! Anthony was so knowledgeable about the history and was so patient.
Great way to spend a day away from the hustle and bustle of Vegas strip. Zen was the perfect host! Informative, fun and has a great vibe! Would definitely ask for him!!!
Anthony was a great tour guide.and our group was so fun and lots of laughs. It’s a 4 mile kayak trip so be prepared to use those arms but there was beautiful scenery and so worth it.
Kayaking to Emerald Cave was the highlight of Vegas trip. The water was calm when we headed out but was little rough from boats and the wind. There wasx2 groups in front of our group so we wait 36 minutes to enter the cave. Our guide Anthony was great, shared information and facts about the river and it's past history. Anthony was nice, super friendly and funny.
The guides were great. Robbie and Anthony However I would recommend if you have kayaked before just rent the kayak and not the guide. As some folks in group may be slower and not as motivated. The cave wasn't really all that great when you are apart of a big guided group. And hearing all of the guides say the same exact information makes it less fun. Everyone has their own preferences on what they're wanting when they're looking at Adventures like this.
Jonny was an amazing guide - super knowledgeable and took care of everyone. No kayaker left behind! The journey and scenery were spectacular. So glad we went!
10/10 Highly Recommend Jonny! Jonny was hands down the best tour guide we had during our entire vacation. We went on several different tours at different locations and he stood out above all of them. From the start he was incredibly friendly, fun, and knowledgeable, which made the Emerald Cave kayak tour one of the highlights of our trip. What really set Jonny apart was how he took the time to get to know everyone and made sure we all felt comfortable and included. He was also very thoughtful throughout the tour, reminding us to apply sunscreen, drink water, and keeping a great pace so we never felt rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure everyone has an amazing experience. Jonny went above and beyond and truly made the tour unforgettable. We would absolutely recommend booking the Emerald Cave kayak tour, especially if you get Jonny as your guide!
Awesome experience- staff very knowledgeable and professional. A very peaceful and zen like experience and you get your upper body exercises in
Good experience Good trip Good
Had an amazing trip with stunning views, friendly locals, delicious food, smooth travel, and unforgettable memories that I will cherish and happily recommend to everyone.
As advertised. Family with 16 and 12 year old had a good time. I’d say you absolutely don’t need a guide. It was only our 2nd time ever kayaking for point of reference. They explained everything well
You can bring your own drinks and snacks. The camera is necessary. The views are incredible and the guides were great
This was a great experience! It was an adventure and super fun! The guide was super informed, told great stories and gave us great information about plants, animals and history. Great activity over all. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is, the cave/cove had a huge line that took so long to get in, we didn’t even end up going in. I did go near the entrance and it looked pretty small and unimpressive. I would suggest heading to the spot fast so you have time to wait & see the cove.
Beautifully clear water. Cool rocks and cliffs surrounding you. Easy enough for all the family to make!
Zen was our guide and was superior with his know of the river and the sites! Great experience 👍🏻❤️
Kayak crew did amazing! They brought thr vibe and made sure everyone was having fun while still being safe. They checked in with us multiple times during the trip to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy. Amazing!
