Definitely recommend the Trek team for anyone looking for a seamless and fun adventure! We did a company team building kayaking day, and everything was perfect! Stephanie was so nice and easy to work with, and went out of her way to accommodate our needs and timing. Our guide Jaret was so knowledgeable and personable, and made sure we had the best experience. We would hands down definitely use them again!

We had the best time kayaking on the Colorado river. Our guide, Jared, was exceptional. He had so much information about what we were seeing & took us on a great hike where we saw and learned more about the plants and surroundings! We loved seeing Bob’s house and learning his story throughout the day. He was the upmost professional and we felt very safe following his lead on a windy day. He’s very personable, easy to chat with, and made the experience one we’ll remember! We can’t wait to come back to NV and book another adventure with him!
We enjoyed our kayak tour and our guide Jared was excellent!
Being a pale ginger from NY (haha), I was definitely nervous to go on a half day kayak tour in the direct Arizona sun and 100° heat. I even mentioned my concerns to the tour director, Stephanie, and she spared no time assuring me it would be worthwhile and that the guide would be sensitive to my concerns. Jared was our guide and he was super cool and extremely patient as we acclimated to our surroundings. It was the highlight of our trip...we learned so much about the history and the flora and fauna of the area. Trust me, if you are nervous about the heat, the cold water of the Colorado river keeps you cool and you dont want to miss the opportunity. 10/10! We are excited to come back for more!!
Such an amazing experience! We did the 4 hour unguided tour with single kayaks and it was so beautiful. The views are amazing and we were lucky enough to see different types of wildlife, including big horn sheep! This company was awesome - they seemed like they actually cared about us having a good time rather than just getting their money. They packed us snacks, ice cold waters, and squirt guns!! It was a hot day, so the ice cold waters alone were enough to get 5 stars, but so was everything else. Can't recommend them enough!! Will definitely be searching for their other locations in our next adventures.
Our guide Jared was phenomenal I was completely taken back by how easy going he made the whole process as it was our first time. He was very educated to tell us about the history of the area as well as all the animals and plants. I’d definitely book with him every single time! And not to mention the booking process was a breeze!
Very good time easy to do and the guide was super dope
Excellent experience. They were very responsive to questions when booking. Good communication prior to the trip by email and phone. The guide, Jake, was great - fun, engaging, and knowledgeable. Easy paddle (we had no wind). Snacks and water provided. Jake also took a lot of photos so we didn’t have to worry about bringing a cell phone.
100% recommend. From the offset we had fantastic communication from Stephanie, there was a crash on the Interstate and we were panicking about getting there on time but Stephanie called us back so quickly and went through the options. When we arrived Jared was waiting, so friendly and approachable! Jared went through a few things and then we were on our way. We learnt so much, Jared would check we’re doing okay, if we needed to slow down and have a break. He truly went above and beyond what a normal tour would do and we can’t thank him enough!
Awesome service the guid was very knowledgeable with the area and even more related outdoor adventures We really enjoyed the trip and the guid
It was a great experience! Jared was amazing and extremely patient with us. He was entertaining and educational. I'd recommend anyone to do the tour with him.
So fun and even educational, loved my tour guide and the water was amazing, it was so cold but refreshing for the spirit lol!
Was an great experience and our guide Jake was amazing. We learned alot of new things.
Jared was awesome. A great tour if you enjoy nature. He was very informative about the history of the area. I would recommend this tour 100%. The best of the best.
Our guide Jerrad was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. A true survival specialist. Stephanie was great at communicating our meet up location and time. Very worth the money and time spent, and we would do it again.
Most awesome experience. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
We had Jake take us on our tour! Very knowledgeable and funny! Caves were beautiful and he took plenty of pictures. Would go back again to try the night excursion. Plus, he was nice to look at!!!!
Fantastic trip, what a great guide!!
This was such an amazing experience. My sister and I were in Vegas for a concert but we're much more outdoors people so we booked this while we were there. We had such a fantastic time we went home and bought Kayaks and went out the very next weekend. Our guide was incredible. So helpful when needed but also super laid back and just let us enjoy. I loved this company because the tour was so small compared to other huge groups we saw on the river. This was truly the hilight of our weekend.
We had the most amazing experience! Jake was a blast, thank you for making our Sunday funday so much fun! He was incredibly knowledgable regarding both the history behind the area and the wildlife. I would highly recommend spending some time kayaking with this group. You will not be disappointed! Leann, Lisa & Megan
If you go in the summer, bring LOTS of water and protect yourself from the sun. The tour was awesome! Guide was engaging and attentive. He carried extra water and had snacks for us! A memorable experience for us all!
I had a great experience and learned a lot about survival kit in the desert Jared our guide was awesome
Our guide Jerry was funny and phenomenal. Had the greatest time. Learned a lot. I wished TripAdvisor would have sold the other excursion options as well. There is just so much to do. Our occasional water gun fights were a welcomed break and cool-down from the heat.
We had a great experience on our tour. The views were amazing and the water was refreshing in the mid-afternoon heat! Our guide was super easy to talk to and had great stories to share. I would definitely recommend a journey up the river to view the caves, cliffs and green water.
This is our second trip to the Emerald Cave. We had such a fun day. Jared is an amazing guide. He worked with us to give us a fun day, and maximized our experience on the river. He is knowledgeable and shared lots of history and facts throughout the trip. It's clear he loves what he does. Because it was a relaxed day, we had time to really enjoy the scenery and savor being on the river. The water squirters were a great addition and helped us cool off and have a bit of fun.
I followed the instructions, though admittedly arriving a little after 9 am due to my transportation from Vegas, but before launch time. When I got there, not one of the companies had my name on their list. I did not have a text confirmation just email which unfortunately I could not access at the time. My ride was hired from my hotel in Vegas, I opted out of the shuttle as a stop near my hotel (Fontainebleu) did not exisit. This left me at the marina without a way back to the hotel as Uber/Lyft can't enter unless they pay the park fee which they won't. I had no option but to walk in 110 deg heat back to the park entrance...something that was so dangerous in the heat that the National Park Service was contacting me to see if I was out of the park alive. I was stranded by this company. They did not attempt to contact me to see if I was okay at all. I had no contact info provided while they had mine. I am not being offered a refund or anything easily.
Our tour guide, above and beyond with customer service and interaction.
Jared was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and aware of all the groups needs. We had a great day on the Colorado river and the sights were phenomenal. Would 100% reccomend.
Great experience! Great guide! Would do it again :)
We haver a great experience with this tour. The instructions before arriving were very clear and accurate, making it very easy to find the meeting point. Our guide was already waiting for us when we arrived and was icredibly friendly from the beginning. Throughout the tour, he shared interesting facts and history about the area and we never felt rushed. They also provided plenty of snacks and water during the trip, and he was always checking that everyone in the group was doing well. At the end, we fell behind the rest of the group, and he came back to make sure we were okay and helped us catch up. We really appreciated that. 100% recommend this tour :)
We did the 6:30am kayak and it was simply amazing. We were able to have a great experience before the heat and crowds came. We saw tons do wildlife. The morning sun off the water and canyon shadows was so beautiful. Our guide was so knowledgeable and make the experience so memorable.
Jaret was personable, kid friendly and made our day extra fun and memorable. He told us a lot about the historical interests and wildlife we were seeing Trek Las Vegas was approved by the county for foster kids kayaking so safety was not a worry We would come back any time
Jarrod thank ur wife for us for helping u start this great company Jarrod, wow what an amazing guy hands down the best experience and activity we had. We arrived at 730, the view, mountains and the river just amazing, Jarrod started explaining about the day 4 miles of kayaking I got tired of just thinking about it lol, but the stories and facts Jarrod shared were like going back in time to 1901 to meet “Bob” the rowing was actually not hard at all we did tandem and I rowed 75% of the time lol all in all it was the most beautiful adventure .Jarrod please update date us on any other locations and adventures that u start looking forward to see u soon whether it’s hiking canoeing or kayaking ur the best
Our kayak tour was incredible! The woman, Stephanie, who we spoke with on the phone was very good, answered every question we had and always got right back to us. Our guide, Jake, was awesome! One of the best experiences my friend and I have had. I love to come back again.
I had the early bird tour with Jared. He’s an amazing guide and very knowledgeable about the river and canyon. Would definitely book with them again if I’m in the area again.
We had a wonderful experience on the Colorado River! We spent 4 1/2 hours with a small group - eight of us, including our guide, so we appreciated that. The beauty was unsurpassable. We did however, have the idea we would be paddling through caves when actually we just were in cutouts of the walls. It wasn't what we expected, but in spite of that we had a wonderful kayaking trip and enjoyed all of it very much. We had a great guide - Jake? Can't remember his name but he was perfect for us.
Our guide, Jarrod, was awesome! He was helpful, informative and a great communicator. Oh...did I mention he's a lot of fun?! The pacing of this experience was great. We also had the opportunity to swim and explore wildlife. Jarrod taught us about the history and geology of the places we explored. Highly recommend!!
Had an amazing day on the water. My husband and I are huge river/white water people, so we didn’t know what to expect, and though it is still water, we had a wonderful time! Jared was not only very knowledgeable, but also patient and kind! Can’t recommend the experience and the outfitter more! Thanks Jared!
113 on the dashboard and we loved the views, water and the guide. Worth the trip and hard was so informative thank you!!
We had a great time on this kayaking tour. We are a family ranging in age from fit 17 year old boy to 50-something year old mom and dad, and the skill and effort involved were appropriate for all of us. In addition to seeing the Emerald Cave, we learned so much about the history, flora, and fauna of the area, and even saw mountain goats and a bald eagle. 10/10 would recommend and would even do this exact trip again!
Half-day Emerald Cave Tour with Trek Las Vegas was awesome! The guide, Jared, was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great kayaking experience. Would definitely recommend!
Highly recommend! Severe wind caused the tour to change but it wasn't cancelled, as long as we were comfortable, and we had a blast! We will definitely be scheduling a tour with them again.
Had an amazing experience with this tour. Our guide, Jax, was very knowledgeable, always made sure our needs were met, and was extremely friendly! Would highly recommend this tour, even if you are not in tip-top shape.
Jared was an amazing tour guide! He was super knowledgeable about everything to do with the canyon. From wildlife, to plants, to history, he had an answer for everything! Even if he wasn't sure he would give one (He would preface that it might not be right). It was great to see some sheep (including one giving birth) as we got closer to Bob's office. With our small group, Jared was more of a friend than a tour guide!
Fantastic Jake and Gerald really gave us a wonderful tour including the wildlife. Highly recommended.
Jared and Jake were amazing! They were very knowledgeable about the area's history, wildlife, and plant species. Our group of 4 had a great time; Jared spent extra time before we set out to make sure some of the bigger guys on our group were comfortable for the trip. 100% would go again! My only regret about the trip is booking through Viator rather than their website directly.

Amazing experience! Jared was our tour guide and was phenomenal. He shared so much great info about the land and history in a fun way. He did great job helping those who weren’t experienced kayakers while still keeping us with more experience engaged and challenged. Highly recommend and would love to tour again with him if we return to the area. Thanks for a great adventure Jared!
Jared was an incredible guide and really knew the history and geology of the environment. We saw multiple Rams and even a rattlesnake while hiking up to Bob's place. Best day we have had on this trip to Vegas!
Jared and Jake were incredible! I recommend the early bird tours, you can get out there before the sun really hits. The tour was amazing start to finish. I came never having kayaked and finished planning many more kayaking adventures. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat! This was not only kayaking but a historic tour, a plant lesson, a hike, and photo opportunity. Completely beginner friendly!
