The Eddie Griffith that I was expecting from seeing him on past stand up comedy shows on TV was not the one that I saw. I was shocked to see him. The energy was gone. Just a drunk still trying to milk the industry. He must have drank a whole bottle of whiskey or whatever he was drinking on stage. The drink was mostly where his focus was. Honestly, I didn’t think he was funny at all. I understand this is comedy but he stayed on the race thing too long. Content was weak. We left during the show. We could not endure it any longer.

Enjoyed the Eddie Griffin Show. Some jokes made me cringe a little but overall me and my husband was laughing the whole show.
I enjoyed the show. Its a small theater so wherever u sit u can hear Eddie Rubin Griffin. It was a great time
Eddie Griffin delivered and outstanding performance last night. Standup felt completely neutral under rehearsed and sharp. The highlights were on point and his timing was excellent. Unfortunately, before the show started, there was a serious incident. Another older gentleman stepped in to protect her, and I personally requested security. No security error arrived. When the show begin, that same man was seated in the front row, tents and confrontational have no idea what happened, but once the older gentleman explained it out loud, Eddie addressed the situation directly, correct the man called out the behavior and made it clear that disrespect toward anyone Especially elders would not be tolerated. A moment with awareness, turning of negative situation into a teachable one. Thank you, Eddie for bringing attention to what happened and standing up for was right. It was direct and straight to the point. It may have touched a few people, but it had to be taught by the right one. My apologies to anyone who felt affected by the situation. An arrogant should have been corrected by security before entering the show.
This show was absolutely Amazing! When I tell you he’s real and so raw! And the venue is a great size, not to big and not to small. No matter where you sit you will have a great seat! And honestly sitting a little further back will get you the best view!
I went to the Eddie Griffen show last night with some friends. We were expecting to laugh till our stomach hurt. Instead we were given a lesson on politics and how racist white people are. As a white female I can tell you now that I knew he was a black man when I paid for my ticket. If we were prejudice we wouldn’t have given him a dime. Let alone pay him for his opinions. I must add that they confiscated all phones and Apple Watches. No photos nor his offensive political and racial agenda could be recorded.
Ok, so we're a white couple from Europe. I was checking standup for a Saturday in Vegas and after watching Eddie's old videos on YT we picked him. The whole night was a huge disappointment which started already at the bar. In Europe You can't take any beverages into the theater. When we asked for our pre-paid drinks at the bar I asked the bartender lady whether we can really take the drinks to the theater (cause she told us to take our drinks with us). She mockingly replied: No, You gotta chuck it right now... Rude! (You can not take any drinks to any european theaters.) Then came the show. Eddie came in visibly drunk. After a few jokes that actually kinda connected he started drinking one shot after the other. He went on a racist rant against whites for like 30 minutes straight. It was not funny at all, but highly cringe. He kept those shots coming too, I think he had at least 6!!! on stage. I'm not sure if they were the real deal but judging by his performance they were. The more he drank the more he kept humiliating audience members whose reactions he didn't like, too. After calling lmbtq ppl fagg*ts there was a walkout. He kept bashing the person until he left the room. This guy is not his old self any more. His "comedy" wasn't funny, it was a highly prejudiced rant of an alcoholic, who acts like a victim blaming everything on the white man. Grow up Eddie and do comedy again, cause this one was everything but!
Was awesome loved it laughed all night Eddie is one of the realist to ever do it I love every moment. I hope everyone go and see him. Let’s go Eddie.
Eddie Griffin is just as funny as he’s ever been. This is my first comedy show and he did not disappoint.
The worst “comedy” show we have ever seen. It was just a political rant.
Eddie put on a fabulous show, the venue was great, and the staff was friendly. A must show to attend
The show was awesome. Finding the venue was the worse. There were no signs and the people that work in the mall did not seem to know where the venue was. It was FREEZING cold in the venue. The associates at Viator were very nice, patient, and professional in assisting me with changing my payment method.
Let me start by saying, I'm NOT easily offended when it comes to Comedy. I love comedy! This was the WORST Comedy Show I've ever experienced! I was one of the MANY black people who got up and WALKED out of the 7/11/26 8:30 pm show. He started on script, and the jokes were decent. After about the 10th drink, the jokes took a hard left turn and became racist and VERY OFFENSIVE and not funny! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! I repeat DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
He funny as hell, would recommend everyone to go to see him,he is my favorite comedian. He was halarious
He did very little comedy, I went to a comedy show not a self glorification and preaching show. Most of the show was hatred of whites and jews. Laughed maybe 10 to 15 min. The rest was how blacks rule the world and are the chosen ones and how jews canceled him. No comedy at that point. I am not offended by jokes on whites and jews but there was no jokes it was just a preaching on why he is great and jews canceled him and his 40 movies that no one remembers. Some couple in the front got under his skin and then thats all the show was about...them being jews and spies. NOT A COMEDY SHOW
It's was very entertaining, we had a good time with my partner and friends!! It's been a long time since we seen Eddie.he still has its!! A must see show indeed!!
Was verbally insulting in regards to politicians, attacking not their policies but their appearance, sexuality and private life. He commented on every woman that got up to walk out (presumably to the bathroom) making it very uncomfortable.
This was a small venue and I was expecting a lot more than what was offered. It was different and unfathomable
It was really easy to make and adjust reservations....I saw Eddie Griffith and he put on a good show...I plan on going back to Vegas. I really had a nice Mother's Day weekend in Vegas
ALL the reviews are true. This was HORRIBLE!!! Drunken tangent that was not funny... he talked sh*t to anyone that stood up. This guy needs to retire already. I would have rather lost money at the casino then endure this BS. Not Vegas quality at all.
If I could give him zero stars I would but I had to pick one star. The show started off. Okay, then gradually got more horrible throughout the night. He was drunk and stammering on stage, nodding in and out and couldn't stop talking about just white people or politics. I came to laugh and have fun, not watching him get as drunk as he could on stage and could barely stand up. Then he brought his son on stage that's not a comedian, had nothing to say and I didn't come to see him I came to see Eddie. All in all the show was horrible, I'll never go to another one. He's washed up.
Absolutelyyyyyyy hystericallllll from start to finish. He did his thingggg. Jokes after jokes and he spoke his truth
This show is not for people who are not open minded to raw comedy. A little too much cursing for me. But, Eddie did speak on some honest, hard truths.
When u in Vegas dnt leave until u see the Eddie Griffin show. He was there with his whole family and they cater the whole show. Beautiful to see family working together and making money. A lady drank too much and vomited during the show and boi that changes the whole course of the show. Eddie roasted that lady for straight 15min and even prayed for her. Lol my eyes was just tearing up with laughter. I hav seen all Eddie's stand ups and not one is close to this night. Glad to be part of it. Worth every penny
Great show super funny and interactive! I would do this show again because you can tell it was not so much scripted he was interactive with crowd and being funny off the top of his head!
I recently attended the Eddie Griffin show in Las Vegas on 4/18/26, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a live event. My friend and I traveled all the way from Atlanta, excited for a great night. At the top of the stairs, security stopped us and explained they were out of cellphone security cases and that recording was not allowed—completely understandable. However, things quickly took a turn. We were denied entry because I was wearing prescription Meta Ray-Ban glasses. I explained that the glasses were turned off, we had been sightseeing all day on the strip, and I genuinely cannot see without them. The security staff member was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me those were Mr. Griffin’s rules and said, “You don’t need to see to hear—close your eyes and just listen to the comedy show.” That comment alone was beyond disrespectful and completely unacceptable. I’ve never been treated so poorly at any event. I ended up going to the ticket booth and, after going back and forth with a manager, was able to get a refund. While I appreciate getting my money back, it doesn’t make up for the time, travel, and excitement that was completely ruined. 10 thumbs down. Eddie Griffin, please do better when it comes to training your staff. This was a horrible experience from start to finish.
Easy to get tickets. Amazing experience. Will try again upon returning. Didn’t realize Eddie is funny
It wad 2 and a half hours of drunk ranting, and not in a funny way!!
Eddie Griffin was by far the worst show I’ve seen in Vegas. He started 25 minutes late, came out drunk, and got even more intoxicated on stage. His “jokes” had no punchlines, many sentences weren’t finished, and nothing landed. Profanity doesn’t bother me when it’s funny—but here, every other word was the N-word or MF-word with zero comedic value. No timing, no structure, no humor. Completely unprofessional. Don’t waste your time or money.
The show was great hands down. Although it stated the start time was 8:30pm; showtime was around 9:30/10:00pm. The check-in process was horrible as far as having to put your phone in a lock bag (that process was unorganized, and out of control). That’s the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Overall, Eddie Griffin put on a show (per usual) that was well worth the delay!
Went to his show last night. Sad 😞 to see someone once so funny fall prey to the hate and anger crowd in this world. I truly hope he can find peace and love in his heart for all gods creations. Jesus loves you Eddie Griffin, praying for you 🙏
Eddie was drunk and rude to a female in the audience!!! He was not funny. This was my first time seeing him in person. I was totally not impressed. He sucks!!! Eddie needs a better stage presence!!!
Eddie Griffin is a legend, he’s even better in person! 😊 he’s so real, raw and unapologetic! I will always be a fan ❤️
He was not there. I went to planet Hollywood and he was not there. They said he will be on the 9th but my tickets were for the 6th
I WAS a fan. I took my son, thinking we would have a great time. He knew of Griffin so, when I told him the tickets were $49 each, his first response was "why so cheap, wasn't he a headliner"? After the show, he said "now I see, why the tickets were so cheap" This show was so bad I apologized to my son profusely. Save your money unless, you enjoy hearing a drunk talk about his johnson, being homophobic, misogynistic, xenophobic and racist, while telling zero jokes, then this is the show for you.
Worse comedy show ever. If you can call it such. More like racially insensitive slurs directed at everyone who wasn’t black. Disgusting. 40 mins late and he was drunk and as he continued to drink, he got worse. People were leaving. Please do not waste your money or intelligence on this washed up whatever he was. Nothing funny about his show.
First time seeing Eddie Griffin LIVE and definitely NOT my last. Enjoyed every bit of the show. Thank you EG #EGFAN4LIFE
The best Genuine Show we ever attended, we have always been fans we teaveled from Alaska for this show of a lifetime
Sadly, alcohol affected his comedy. His routine consisted of mostly ramblings. A few bits at the opening were entertaining. However as the show went on punch lines and lead ups to them were difficult to understand and in some cases made no sense. Unlike other comedians who lead you into their final bit, Eddie ended his show after continued ramblings about why he veered through endless nonsense by simply saying thanks for coming and blowing a kiss.
Excellent. Will definitely do again. I highly recommend. Very funny and great to see a legend performing
This comedian will not make you laugh. All he does is get drunk in front of the audience and then he just picks on people. He is nasty, raunchy, and racist.
Our 1st time seeing Eddie Griffin was just outstanding, as we expected from him. He's just as real and funny as he was when we first watched him on Def Comedy Jam.
We caught the Eddie Griffin show in Las Vegas, and it was pretty good overall. He definitely delivered plenty of laughs, and we enjoyed the experience. Some of his material might come off as a bit offensive to certain people, but that’s to be expected at a comedy show—especially his style of comedy. The show ran for about two hours, and it kept us entertained the whole time.
Very disappointed in the show last night in Vegas at the Elara. I am not sure if it was just all the liquor he was drinking or if it’s his deep rooted bitterness towards all other races but the show was unbearable. He rambled on about nonsensical topics, especially racial and political views where no jokes were made, just irrational statements. He has years of great material, so we were shocked this was as bad as it was. After coming here to check other reviews, it sounds like this wasn’t a one off night. Don’t waste your time or money on this angry, bitter, drunk, washed up guy
Don't waste your money on going to see Eddie Griffith. The beginning started okay but the more he drank the worse it got. His conspiracy theories were not comedy therefore not funny. So sorry I wasted my time and money.
Before we entered the seating area, everyone had to put their phones on silent & put them in a neoprene like pouch that was secured by the staff. We were told that they would be unlocked as we exited the show. This show started LATE. We had VIP tickets but it was nothing special. Just a photo strip (3- 1” pics). Eddie didn’t do much jokes. Just talked about his life for about 3 hours. Not much comedy in this show. Maybe he was tired of this gig after doing this for 40 years. Also he was very drunk. He had maybe 8 drinks & kept rambling on about things like slavery & not much interacting with the audience except for 3 females in the front row that had way too much to say. He had security remove them from the show. I would not recommend this show.
Venue was to tight, seats were uncomfortable. I love Eddie, but he was not funny. The VIP tickets was a waste of money, you received nothing but a 1x1 photo.
I hate to say this, but Eddie Griffin was one of the best. The show he performed this past week in Las Vegas honestly made me sick. Throughout the set, he would yell “Arm!” — and Arm would hand him another shot of something. Over and over. He got drunk right in front of the audience. He even said he had nothing prepared because the alcohol makes him funny. It doesn’t. It made the entire performance sloppy and hard to watch. At one point, I was honestly wishing this was the old-school Apollo Theater, where the clown would come out and drag him off the stage when it was clear the show had gone off the rails. Comedy can be raw. Comedy can be profane. But great comics are prepared. Richard Pryor cursed. Eddie Murphy cursed. They were never sloppy. They were intentional. Sharp. In control. The worst part for me was seeing his kids there, supporting him. That part hurt. Dude — get it together. Please come back to greatness. I still believe there’s something powerful in you. I hope you find it again!
Be prepared to laff ur a$$ off!! He is the GOAT of comedy. He's real and personal. Make you feel like he family.
Was amazing experience I would like to go again great seeing a famous guy in person it was amazing I love the laughs and the drinks.
