From pickup to end of trip it was a great experience. Our driver, Dan, was so informative and knowledgeable. We loved our time in Boulder City. There are so many unique shops and good restaurants to choose from. We will definitely do more tours with them.

Pick up point at Treasure Island was easy to find. The coach was comfortable for the short journey to Boulder City. The return journey seemed longer but that was the traffic which was heavy by the afternoon. Plenty of interesting shops and places to eat during a shortish visit.
Gia and Milton rock. I’d love this tour again.
Fantastic day out .We did the tour last year it was really great and we wanted to go back to do it again and see the parts we missed .After today we will definately be going back to boulder city again .Highly recommend .Dan Armstrong was our tour driver and guide he was brilliant really friendly very knowledgeable and easy to listen to . He relaxed the group and got us all excited with his high energy .Brilliant day .
Aloe and Robin were amazing. They were the perfect tour team. Both qere very knowledgeable and were very engaging. We had a wonderful day.
Wayne was great. Made sure we got on the bus and was very thorough. Also a very good driver and made us feel safe. He gave alot of good info about Vegas! Would definitely recommend him!
Great experience!, Great Inforimation! The trip was great, the visits done were well planned and help us enjoy the trip without a lot of people
We enjoyed our afternoon in Boulder City. Much calmer than Vegas. Quaint, neat shops and restaurants many with history dating back to the construction of the Hoover Dam. The old hotel/inn has a great Hoover Dam Museum/exhibits. Has a film at the end that is good too. Not only talks about the dam construction but goes into how the workers lived there in Boulder City. We were picked up at Treasure Island, not far from our hotel and dropped off at Boulder City. The bus driver was very hospitable and knowledgeable about Las Vegas and the Boulder City area. Most on the bus traveled on to the Hoover Dam. We were picked up on their way back and dropped off at Treasure Island. A definite must to get away from all the lights and stimulation of Las Vegas. If you have never seen the Hoover Dam, this tour is a great opportunity to do both!
Angela Smith-the bus driver-was an excellent driver, excellent tour guide & a very knowledgeable & beautiful lady! My husband & I were in Las Vegas, Nevada & we booked a couple of tours & Angela was our tour guide to Hoover Dam.
We didn't do Hoover Dam tour, but we booked the Boulder City tour. We were dropped off in Boulder City, which was absolutely stunning, we loved the experience, this place is a must do tour. Our coach driver was very knowledgeable, polite, courteous and efficient, service was excellent, sadly I have forgotten his name, but a big thankyou to him. The date of the tour was 1st October
All I can say is AMAZING. Paulie was AMAZING, he kept a wonderful schedule, knew what he was doing and SO accommodating. I would go back on any tour with this company. Paulie was SO KNOWLEDGE!!!! VERY impressed and VERY happy. We had a bucket list experience for our 10 year anniversary!!!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!!
This trip was a nice getaway from the casinos. Very quiet tour but we really liked the old historic downtown area.
Lovely quaint small town, full of bric a brac/ antique shops. Had a fabulous brunch at coffee cup cafe! Great local beer at boulder dam brewery company and watched the world go by! Our bus driver Angela was very informative and helpful.
Tony was a great tour guide and host. Enjoyed every minute of from the details, humor, and willingness to accommodate everyone.
The coach trip to Boulder City was fine. We were dropped off and told we would be picked up at 1:30 to 1:45. We were back at the meeting point for 1:30 but there was no sign of the bus. We had to sit around in the heat which was not great for by dad who is 77. We waited and waited and we’re just about to call to find out what was going on when finally the bus arrived at 2:15. Nothing was said to us and everyone then got off the bus for a 25 min stop. We had to then get on the bus to find out what was going on. We had no apology for being late and we then had to continue waiting around.
What a wonderful little town...A very relaxed feel, friendly people and an interesting history to boot...well worth a visit and a Cornish Pasty shop as well...
The best part was seeing all of the history inside the Boulder City Hotel and going to the antique shops. I had a wonderful inexpensive lunch, and it was good.
It was a very good experience. Nice driver and very good views from history. Wonderful experience. Just remember to choose what moth of the year you visit. The heat can be overwhelming.
Excellent experience with Angela, very well guided. 5 stars . She explained everything very well. Will definitely do it again.
Told to register at 9:45, bus final showed up at 10:10. Got to Bolder City about 11 and was told we would be picked up at 12:30. Waiting to be picked up and got called at 12:33 being told that we would now be picked up at 1:45. Bus showed up at 2:00. This broke up our touring day.
The bridge connecting Arizona to Nevada with the different time changes. How the construction workers scaled the walls to plant the dynamite.
We enjoyed walking around Boulder City. We selected the self-guided tour. The City had a simple to use audio tour through our phone. It was a lovely day to explore the city and enjoyed lunch. Hoover Dam tour bus dropped us off and picked us up. If you enjoy exploring a small town on your own, then this tour is for you.
It was a lovely little town the little shops were lovely the people were really nice and friendly Went into a antique shop and the lady was so friendly and happy it was a lovely day
Tony guide is wonderful and kind person. He showed us Hoover dam and Boulder museum which was awesome. Thank you Tony for showing and guiding.
Michael was funny and informative in our tour from Vegas to Boulder City and The Hoover Dam. Lots of insight on the history of the area, and all along the way. He was a skilled truck driver prior to becoming a tour bus operator here in Vegas and that skill shined through some tighter areas of our drive. Would highly recommend National Park Express tours if you are ever in Las Vegas and planning on going to go to Boulder City or the Hoover Dam. Also we used the GoCity passes to pay for it and that process was easy as well. NPE sent a email right away and when I had questions were great at responding to my email in less than 24hrs
We wanted to do something a wee bit different to the main Las Vegas tours, so chose this trip to Boulder City as we'd passed by it often enough on tours elsewhere. Our driver / guide, who was taking everyone else on the bus to Hoover Dam, was quite chatty and kept passengers informed about the tour and local landmarks, places to eat etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the couple of hours we spent in Boulder, it's a lovely place to visit. There was a Cornish Pasty Co. cafe bar opposite the museum, so we stopped there for a bite to eat. The Cajun Chicken pasty I had was superb, and my wife enjoyed her Scotch egg. We visited the Boulder City Co. store and received a warm welcome. First time using National Park Express, but wouldn't hesitate to travel with them again.
Were to begin.... So this tour was advised as a half a day self guided tour, 5 hours approx. When we boarded the bus the guide did not know what tour we were doing, as the main tour was for the Hoover Dam. He told us he will drop us off in Boulder City and pick us back up in 2 hours!! We stated that we should be there for 5 hours and all he said was i will call someone. We were really angry at this point. Got to Boulder City and again he could not give us a time to when he wlll collect us, all we were told was to be back here at 1pm. Boulder City itself was amazing but we could not enjoy ourselves as were constantly looking at the time Got to our pick up point at 1pm to no bus, the bus eventually turned up at 1.30pm but did not leave till 2pm !! That could have been extra time to explore !! In the end if you are in Vegas and want to explore Boulder City ( which i highly recommend) get an uber !! This company was so unorganised and a waste of money
We loved our time in Boulder City (wish we had more). The museum was very informative and all you need to do is make a donation. Loved the meal we had in the restaurant and then a walk around the area viewing the statues etc. Antique shops were great to walk around
As we had visited the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead previously we chose to spend the morning in Boulder City, and made a great choice. Breakfast at the Boulder City Hotel was excellent, as was the museum. We browsed through the local antique and bric a brac shops and found some presents for the grandkids. Michael, our bus driver was very knowledgeable, helpful and funny, a first class guide.
The museum was awesome and the food at The Coffee Cup Cafe was delicious. We even got to see some of the wildlife. Our driver was very knowledgeable. He actually worked on the hotels and bridges. 52/53 year old.
The hotel where we were dropped off was so warm and inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed the free museum in the hotel We had been to Hoover Dam around ten years ago, but, we were able to get a better understanding of the momentous achievement. After this, we walked to several antique shops, which we found to be fascinating. We highly recommend this tour.
Great little tour , Just wish had more than 2 hours to visit. had to rush around and missed bits but great place
Boulder Dam Hotel has a neat museum (free) and 20 minute film featuring the dams' construction. Reasonably priced gift shop too. Lots of antique shops on the main drag. Coffee shop/cafe was okay. Locals were not that social. Boulder Dam Hotel lobby is a nice place to sit and wait for your tour bus to come get you. The next day, as I was on my way to Hoover, our tour bus went through Boulder City again (eeek), and I noticed a UFO/Alien themed shop was also in Boulder City. Pity I missed that. This is a cheap trip. You are dropped in town and left by yourself for three hours. Thinking of going early to avoid the summer heat? you'll find most of the place closed.
Lovely little town, very different from the hustle and bustle of Vegas strip. Nothing opens until 10am, but it was nice just having a wander round looking at all the statues and scenery. Town museum was good, had a few interactive things and a video at the end. Quite a few antique shops and a few touristy shops. The 3 and a a half hours we were here were enough to see the whole place do the museum and have lunch.
Very interesting day. The places visited are beautiful. A lot to learn. The views are amazing. I really liked the tunnel.
