We had a riot on this tour. Ron was both entertaining and extraordinarily knowledgeable about the games as well as a great teacher. The time flew by and we all learned enough to win more than we usually do by the end of the night. I highly recommend this if you are planning to gamble in Vegas! This was a fun, low-pressure activity and the instructor Ron was engaging and on point. He adjusted the class to the skill level and interests of the group. Even if you already know the basics od blackjack, craps and roulette, the class gives you practical tips on everything from deciphering the various table options to tipping etiquette— you will feel more comfortable joining games at the casino. This is a hands on lesson with no gambling risk. It’s all practice with no pressure at all. You will learn the basics. The tour guide explains everything in simple terms. It’s fun and our guide Ron was funny! Entertaining! And highly knowledgeable! I love that the casino encourages our learning and participation by allowing the tour to use real tables and chips. What a great experience! I had some Viator rewards expiring this month and I wanted to do something really different - when I told my husband I had booked this experience he was really excited about it! Ron was a really good and patient teacher - he answered all of our questions and did a lot of examples. He also provided us with 2 "cheat sheets" - "basic strategy for black jack" and "basic craps." Super helpful. We were also supposed to learn how to play roulette, but we spent so much time on craps, which was what we really wanted to learn about any way, that we skipped roulette. Money and time still well spent ... the next day, I won $110 at the craps machine!

The lesson was very good. The guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The only negative was the very strong smoke smell in the plaza hotel.

Definitely go to this lesson! Ron had a great relationship & insight with the workers and taught us in a downtown (Old Fremont) casino that had better odds and beginner classic versions of the table games -- so a better deal & most fair playing ground than the Strip. Ron explained how the math odds and casino rule-setting, betting protocols, and common table gestures all works in a straightforward and easy-to-understand way, especially important for a non-gambler that's going into a flashy lights and fast-paced casino floor with many things and shouting crowds going on! Love the mini history lesson of how casinos developed in the area and will refer back to the takeaway basic strategy cards for the games we learned. We did lots of practice rounds on each of the table games to get comfortable with the new rules and play/strategy patterns, and Ron explained some common variations & "side bets" very well -- very entertaining too. Best value for money & time spent in a casino, in my book!!

I had Ron all to myself, and honestly had a great experience! He ran through a bit of local history but then we got down to business at the blackjack table. We played at a table that is not used on the floor, and Ron pointed out all the salient information on the table signage. He then showed me how the play takes place, explained types of strategy for various card combinations, and had a very helpful handout for me to keep. He was super organized and the lesson was well thought out. We then went to the Craps table and again, so organized in how the lesson was presented. Tons of information, including etiquette, and I left feeling excited to play that afternoon. Really impressed with the amount of information and value of this experience. You have great take-away “cheat sheets” as well as $20 players card when the lesson ends. He even accommodated my request to play more at the craps table, and go light on roulette.
After talking multiple times about how craps looks so fun but feels impossible to learn, we decided to do something about it and found this tour! It was fun, approachable, and definitely educational - Jordan is a fount of knowledge but also makes sure everyone is having a good experience. I didn’t win big at the craps table afterwards, but I understood the bets I was making and why I lost, which is progress at least! Table games are some of the most fun in the casino and this will definitely give you the confidence to try them out.

I took the Best Bet Gaming Lessons and it was the perfect way to kick off my first day in Vegas, Jordan was awesome, I learned about how Vegas started and then got a rundown of Roulette, Craps, and Blackjack at real tables on the Plaza Casino floor with history, etiquette, strategy, and time to practice. It was thanks to these lessons that I could confidently walk into the casino, play for hours, and actually walk away with more money than I started with
Our guide, Ron, was awesome! We also got to meet two young ladies from Berlin who were in Vegas for a work conference. Ron made the lesson fun and easy to understand. We were most excited to learn craps because we wanted to play, but it seemed so intimidating. It is actually pretty easy! We got some pointers on blackjack, and also learned roulette. When the lesson was over we played blackjack with the ladies from our lesson for awhile, and after that we played craps and had a blast!! So glad we took the lesson and we definitely recommend it!
Ron was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to thoroughly explain every aspect of the games. He took extra time to make sure we were comfortable with everything he taught us. He even stayed past the time we paid for to make us comfortable. We had never gambled before and he explained everything to us in a way we could understand. So excited to find Best Bet Lessons for table games. As a gift 🎁 to my husband, I chose to learn a few table games. My hope was to have a general idea of these games so I can enjoy my time more with my man when we come to the tables. Ron was brilliant, knowledgeable, entertaining and fun - we learned so much as novices about casino etiquette and how to properly play blackjack, craps and roulette. I'm pretty sure he'd have happily spent another hour with us over our allotted time if we'd not had dinner reservations! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to know how to use those casinos properly in Vegas! We ate at Oscars upstairs afterwards and had amazing steaks too!
Jordan was a fabulous host!! His enthusiasm for his hometown and especially “old Vegas” was contagious. We rarely visit casinos - only 2-3 times a year on average - but did have a basic understanding of how to play — BUT the little tricks of how to make better decisions based on the odds made so much sense after his tutorials. Loved his energy, his personality and personal attention. Highly recommend.
Great intro to blackjack, craps and roulette. Ron was super friendly, witty and helpful to my 21 year old daughter and I who had little to no gambling experience. We were able to later confidently play games on the strip. Both Ron and my daughter are writers so they hit it off. We are looking forward to watching the movie he wrote, Apartment 413.

Now I feel confident I can walk up to either table and understand the game and how to bet! Mark showed us the ropes on roulette, craps, and blackjack - but the real treat was the history lesson he gave us! He told us all about old Vegas, Fremont street’s development and told us some great stories from when he was a dealer in some of the most historic hotels in Vegas. Highly recommend this experience! We enjoyed the brief tour that included a little history of the area prior to our gaming lesson. Our guide was an excellent teacher and very personable. I actually learned how to play craps and picked up some tips for playing Black Jack! It's worth the time. This tour will bring you to Downtown Vegas and give you the opportunity to check out Fremont Street and Circa Resort and Casino. My husband and I thought it was a fun and casual experience.
