The area you'll be riding in has been featured by numerous magazines as one of the top off-road riding areas in the United States. This wonder of nature can only be described as breathtaking. While you will occasionally encounter Big Horn sheep and other wildlife, the Valley of Fire is world renowned for its beautiful rock formations and red sand. If you are fan of Star Trek, you will recognize many of the early sets filmed here. Yes, you can go to the land of Kirk and Spock. However teleporting is out of the question!
Adjacent to the Speedway is the Vegas Dunes Off Road Recreation area for the second leg of your adventure tour for a 1-hour buggy ride. You will be operating a state-of-the-art vehicle which is a cross between a desert racer and a dune buggy on a 35 mile course that will subject you to dried out river beds, sheer cliffs, a place called Rattle Snake Rocks (guess why), and Look Out Dune, a vantage point where you take a brief break and can see Lake Mead and the Las Vegas Strip on the horizon.
Our experience with Black Mike (he told us to call him that) was exceptional. He gave great insight and information. In addition, our experience with Deegan was also phenomenal. He is a great guide and you feel comfortable and safe.
Sun buggy experience was awesome as usual. Some things change but it was nice. The weather was 48°. Mike was good as a driver. He’s the best. Mika and Shawna were very down to earth. I called so many times before getting to Vegas and they were so helpful. I recommend them every time.

Our tour guide Miller and his assistant Gabe made the experience very memorable to my fiancé . We were riding hard through the terrains. When I come back I’m definitely taking another ride and will request Miller.

The actual dune buggy experience was great fun, safe and well managed. Our guide Shane was excellent. But everything before and after was disorganised and took far too long. If you do this trip be prepared for lots of delays and down time
I booked this tour with high expectations and it did not disappoint - I have to say that I booked through Kay who was absolutely amazing-she set this all up for me and despite my girlfriend being a jerk that day I went by myself and had an amazing time. Shana was amazing at the front desk super helpful - miss Deborah was amazing.super helpful - Keith was amazing.and helpful fun and safe ! A special thank you to Mike and particularly Uncle Robbo who took me our both on the ATVs and dune buggies and he was awesome and so much fun I will definitely be doing this again and with Sunbuggy for sure thank for the great time ad thank you too all for being so great
Quad tour was great, with a fantastic guide. Excellent mix of the tracks, half gravel, half sand with dunes. A good 3 hours was perfect. Buggy part was not so good though: just 1 hour, mostly on gravel, with poor cars. Altogether, a great day-tour worth every Cent!
Second time with these guys and we had an incredible experience once again! We visited in June this year and booked the ATV tour and dune buggy chase dakar combo adventure. We got picked up by Mike the driver and headed to their offices to watch a safety video and get our helmets. Food was offered as part of the tour, so we went to the service station on the way and chose what we wanted. We arrived at The Valley of Fire and went on our tour. The tour was fantastic!! Patrick and Eric (ATV) are so good at what they do and made us feel safe and welcome throughout. We stopped off and had lunch in a little cave that looked out over the valley. Absolutely beautiful. It was incredibly hot so making sure you're hydrated is is a must. Water is provided so no need to pack some yourself. After the ATV tour we headed over to Jimmy to take us on the dune buggy chase. He was incredible too and also made us feel welcome; we had such a good time on both tours and would recommend booking this experience. Be aware you may need gloves to reduce blisters. I didn't realise I had one until the end of the day. Something to be aware of. Communication at the business needs improving. We booked the 8am pickup, but got a rude awakening at 6am by the driver saying we are hard to get hold of and pickup is at 7am!!! We also had an email from them at 6am asking what hotel we were at. This should have been confirmed at least the day before like all other tour operators did to confirm all details so we didn't have such a stressful start to the day. These things are easily implemented so I hope it helps make things better everyone at and those who book with Sunbuggy. See you again next year and thank you for a great day!

My tour was booked for 10:00 and started much later. It was convenient to have hotel pick up and drop off. Our transport driver Emmett was full of zest and made the ride entertaining. Josh was my Atv guide and he was top notch. Overall it was an amazing experience. The team is great with safety and really helpful. The views were amazing.

The Sunbuggy experience is a definite go-back-aginer! From hotel pick-up through return drop off, every member of the Sunbuggy team was engaging & gave top-notch service. Emit, who picked us up, was on-time and gave us a good preview of what to expect from the day while he was driving us to the depot. I missed the cashier's name, but she was also a pleasure to deal with. Chad, our tour guide gave us great no-nonsense briefing and was great at helping my wife get at ease while we each strapped into our individual buggies. The tour was excellent! Chad kept it a great pace and within our skill set, while stepping up the fun level as we got warmed up to it. We'll definitely do this again! Jay did great job driving us to and from the buggies Vannie took us back to the hotel; he too was a fun and engaging host during the drive back. I'm very impressed with the Sunbuggy operation - the facilities and team delivered well above my expectations.
Our guide Levi was helpful and a good guide for our desert tour. Took us on some cool paths and off the paths too of course. Both our drivers Steve and Emmett got us there and back safely. Emmett was hospitable and had snacks. Definitely recommend this company for an off roading experience !
Came out to Sun Buggy for my husband's 30th birthday. Neither of us had done atvs or dune buggies but decided to do both. When I called, the guy who helped me purchase my experiences (wish I remembered his name) was so friendly and enthusiastic I was geeked for this trip. He was even genuinely excited for my hubby's bday and I appreciated that. The day of, Emmett called me about 2 hrs in advance to let me know when and where to meet him at my hotel. His directions were great and I felt sure I'd get picked up without incident, and thanks to the logos on the shuttle I was able to get on the right one on time. Emmett was probably the most hospitable driver I've had EVER! He was kind, a great driver and had some yummy snacks which came in clutch on the way back after working up an appetite. Very comfortable, safe ride. Emmett even gave a couple of ice cold waters to a homeless person we passed on the way back so quietly, I almost missed it. Very genuine guy. Arriving at the location, directions were clear and respectful. I felt like a VIP the entire time! Equipment was clean and in good condition. Our 1 hr atv ride was with Eric and Leah. Eric was funny and his calm demeanor made me relaxed and confident that I'd be safe while having fun. Leah was incredibly sweet, making sure we were alright on the trails. We didn't take our phones because we were unsure how to keep them secure so we couldn't take a photo. Leah noticed and offered to take photos with her phone and send them to us. Thank you both for going above and beyond! No turtles were harmed! After the atvs, we did a 30 min chase with Ben. Ben was the man! We had a little trouble with our first buggy but Ben got us switched over quickly and efficiently. Gotta love the hustle. Thanks to Ben we had a ton of fun- he went just the right speed so we were thrilled but not overwhelmed. He even checked at the end to see how he did - knocked it out the park. No turtles were harmed on that ride either. Our other shuttle driver was Russ who had me cracking up. He could probably use some new AC, but it wasn't too bad. Not sure how he got us from point a to b so quickly while still being safe, but I enjoyed the ride. Overall, I can tell the folks here love their job and this is hands down THE BEST DUNE BUGGY/ATV TOUR on earth. I'll be back as many times as I can and will be thinking about this for years. Thank you Sun Buggy for the phenomenal treatment!

We had such an amazing experience! Emmett and Russ were our drivers and got us safely from the hotel, out to the dunes, and back. The customer service and hospitality was above and beyond! Our guide was Chad and he's awesome! Always ensuring everyone's safety while still having fun. we just got married yesterday and have been trying to get as many pictures as we could, but didn't take our phones. Chad was nice enough to use his phone to take pictures of us and send to us! Everyone that works for this company is super nice!

Chad was a great guide. Lead a large group of us on a fun and safe adventure through the desert with more than ample ride time and fun! Emmett got us safely to and from our hotel and kept us well fed on snack and drinks! Dan the Man got all of us instructed and out to the trail head in the quick ride out to the dunes. Emmet & Mr. Jim were the best drivers coming and going to the Sun buggy rentals. Jim was an expert Driver avoided a crash on the highway and didn’t flinch. Emmet was a huge surprise after a long day of riding he had snacks, fruit cups, chips, and a safe/comfortable Ride. Sun buggy has the best guides and drivers!!!

Do you like thrills? Do you love to have fun in a safe environment? Have you ever wanted to hit the gas? Then why not try the buggy chase? I selected this tour as it offered an early morning start (recommended to avoid the heat). our guide, gage, paved out a route where we could safely ride over, around and through the dunes. The tour included pick up and drop off from our hotel, the safety gear, and water. As well as a quick tutorial. Our driver to the dunes, Russ, had a quick tutorial on operating the ATVS and buggy’s on the screen that made it easy to operate—and it was! I highly recommend this tour if you answers yes to the questions above and are looking for something new to do in vegas. 10/10

This was a blast! Paul and Chad did an amazing job at keeping us safe-while having a blast in the Valley of Fire. It was so beautiful and there were times that you would think you were on a different planet. They both made sure that we had plenty of water and not to mention the opportunity to take lots of pictures. The second half of this day adventure was with Chad doing the dune buggy’s and WOW THIS WAS LOADS OF FUN! My husband and I both had the opportunity to drive and was such a great experience. It was nice experiencing a different side to Las Vegas :) Thank you for such a wonderful time!
