I was excited to visit the neon museum, but was disappointed that the majority of the signs were not lit up. The documentation throughout the museum for the signs was really good and informative. You can essentially see the whole museum by looking at the photos in the description. It wasn’t worth the Uber trip from the hotel and back.

This is our second visit to this outdoor museum. It is the resting place of some iconic neon signs that once illuminated The Strip. Well marked self-guided tour but with plenty of staff around to answer questions. Nice gift shop.
My sister and I really enjoyed the Neon museum. The admission fee was very reasonable, senior discount! All of the lit signs looked beautiful. We were there on a Tuesday evening and it was not very crowded at all and we were able to view it at our leisure. We spent about 30-45 minutes walking around the signs
Reading the informative plaques in front of each neon sign display brought the history of Las Vegas to life, making it a fantastic tour experience
Wish I had read more reviews before visiting. There were 5 of us so it was pretty expensive for 15 minutes of mild entertainment. We thought it would be about double the size considering how much neon has been on display in Vegas over the decades. Also disappointed by how many displays were inoperable. The staff, however, were phenomenal. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
This was a great experience. Loved the history and seeing all of the old signs. I would recommend this activity.
We did a self guided tour, but they do offer full guided tours. Staff was super friendly and answered any questions we had.
It is definitely an experience however the price and the experience don't equal up, plus a majority of lights were out on the back end of the museum. It's a great place to bring kids and family but the price could be adjusted. Overall very clean; staff is amazing source of knowledge and it is something fun to do in Vegas.
This was a great way to spend an hour. Learn about the history of the city and see what's to come for it. We were lucky as we arrived about 30 minutes before Sundown so we could see the signs both during the day and at night. There will be photographers who will take your picture I would avoid because they print terrible compared to the digital. Don't waste your money on this. I would say it's expensive for what it is as it doesn't take long to get through it. Still really interesting with great photo ops.
This was a fun museum to walk through. While not every light was functioning it was still interesting to see a lot of the Vegas history. Definitely go at night, the lights are so pretty!
If you haven’t been there and you want to learn about Las Vegas history and the casinos, this place does not disappoint! Our guide, Lei, was incredible and well informed. It’s been about 2 years since we last visited and what they have added and remodeled is over the top amazing! We always bring our out of town guests there, and they are always amazed and glad we did because most people never knew about it. A real gem!
Fun to see a place for the old signs to be preserved. Arranged well and fun to see. Staff was great!!
The Neon Museum is one of the most unique attractions in Las Vegas and an amazing place to explore the city's rich history. The collection of historic neon signs from legendary casinos, hotels, and businesses is absolutely fascinating. Walking through the Neon Boneyard feels like stepping back in time and experiencing the old days of Las Vegas. One of the biggest highlights of my visit was the **Brilliant! show**, which was absolutely spectacular. It cost an additional $8 during my visit, and it was completely worth it. The combination of music, lights, and projection technology brings historic signs back to life and creates an unforgettable experience. **I highly recommend visiting at night.** The illuminated neon signs look incredible after dark, and the entire museum has a completely different atmosphere. The nighttime experience, especially combined with the Brilliant! show, makes the visit even more memorable. Parking is free, which is another great advantage. There is a parking lot available for visitors, and if it's full, additional overflow street parking is available behind the museum. One thing I would absolutely love to see someday is the **full restoration of the iconic Stardust marquee**. It was such a legendary part of Las Vegas history, and seeing it completely restored and illuminated again would be incredible. I really hope the museum can make that happen one day! It's wonderful to see the museum preserving so many pieces of Las Vegas history. Every sign has its own story, and the collection offers a fascinating glimpse into the city's past. Overall, I had an amazing experience. The historic signs, nighttime atmosphere, free parking, and spectacular Brilliant! show make the Neon Museum a must-visit attraction in Las Vegas. I strongly recommend visiting in the evening and spending the extra $8 for Brilliant! It's definitely worth it!
Bit of a trip down memory lane, the signs here bring back some memories of how the old Las Vegas was, compared to the current version. Very informative, there were several guides around all willing to tell a story of each sign. There is also an informative map of where the hotel and signs used to be; and what they have now become. Very good and interesting.
Excellent ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ great to see all the vintage neon signs
Wish there were more lights on some of the other signs, but overall, it was still nice to see. It was nice to see the statue from the Mirage.
The park was beautiful. The signs were amazing to see. The adventurer was on my bucket list for years and it was well worth the trip
fun nostalgia! if you like history and remember the good ile days... this is a fun way to spend an hour or two
Want to see something different? This is the place. Old neon signs from the casinos from the strip and old downtown. It is pretty cool
We booked this as we wanted to do something a little different from the usual tourist attractions in Las Vegas. Booked the 6:15pm ticket so we could see the signs in daylight and in the dark and it was great to have the opportunity to see all the signs in the light and then see the museum light up as it became dark. Lots of staff around the museum, who were all very knowledgeable, friendly and gave a good insight into the history of the signs. We really enjoyed our visit which lasted about 90 minutes in total, it was great to see the history from the Las Vegas strip and recognised so many from TV and movies. Really worth a visit if you want a change from all the usual sights on the Strip.
Very cool experience! Lots of history to view and take in. Definitely recommend going at night! The fee was not terrible, it goes to help maintain the history of Vegas. You could spend an hour or so there, take your time to read the signs and listen to some of the staff members. It was not overly crowded which was nice. One thing to keep in mind, if inclement weather is coming, they do close down but they let you stay in the gift shop until the weather clears. The staff handle this situation well.
This has been on my bucket list for many years. It did not disappoint. Although the place is small in area, it makes up for it with a lot of old Vegas history. I recommend going at dusk so you can enjoy the transition. The signs are so fun to see lit up. Some are there in Disrepair. The signs that are lit up are awesome! Fun to photograph too. We spent about 1.5 hours without a tour. Cost was $31. If you don’t gamble this is a nice alternative.
Great museum! Big outdoor space with a bunch of neon signs and really interesting signs telling about the history of the sign, its dates, whats at the space now. Spent about an hour walking around - first lap to read all the info and second lap to just look at the signs. Loved going at night to get the full effect of the lights.
This outdoor exhibit has a historic collection of Las Vegas neon signs in a relaxed walkable area, There are many placards and docents available to give details about the different displays. Visit after sunset to see the lighted displays and avoid extreme heat.
Just not worth the money. Half of the signs wasn't even lite. Plus it’s only a ten minute walk through
The Neon Museum was a phenomenal experience, especially if you like history related to the lights and sparkle of Las Vegas.
Not worth the $$$ in our opinion. Signs were cool but not all lit up. However one particular sign was so overwhelming it caused an unintentional omission of flatulence by one member of our group. So that was pretty funny.
This is a wonderful price of Vegas history. The guides are friendly and the sheer amount of displays is outstanding.
This was easy to get in and get to. Definetly cool but much smaller than expected. But still something interesting.
Loved everything about it! There were plenty of historians standing throughout to assist with questions. Awesome!
It doesn't open until 8.15 pm and there is nowhere to get a drink nearby, so you are sat out in a hot environment. However when you get in the signs are fabulous and worth seeing. Staff are knowledgeable.
The museum itself is excellent. We had to wait outside in 106 degree heat until the temp went down to 105 due to OSHA requirements we were told. That was not the problem, they would not even let us in the cooled lobby and there were only about 6 people in line. This was ridiculous! It was dangerously hot. Some common sense discretion could have been used. Unfortunately, it marred the whole experience. We saw at least 12 people leave because of that. Money lost to the museum.B
This was such a great experience. There is so much rich history in Vegas told by these old neon signs. There are guides all over the yard that are a not just knowledgeable but also genuinely excited to share it.
It was so cool to learn about the history and see how many legendary actors and musicians once visited those old casinos. Walking through felt like stepping back in time. I absolutely loved the experience and would definitely go back again!
Great site. Staff is awesome. Very knowledgeable. Definitely check out Elvis’s Star. (Most people miss it). I chatted with the staff about her 7-9 restores are in the works. Hopefully on my next trip to see.
Visit at night, most neon signs are lit, walk around once then repeat you may have missed something!
Amazing. Stop and read all the info bits by each sign. Many available staff to share history of the signs if you don’t do a guided walk.
Not all the lights were lit. I don’t think it was worth $25. Sorry. Plus I paid for 3 kids $17. They lost interest fast. But very welcoming staff.
It’s a very small but interesting museum with lots of history but at $90 for 3 people it’s a complete rip off and overpriced. We paid the same to visit the mob museum and that was a million times better value. It’s all well and good being a non profit organisation but this is exploitation… I’d expect tickets to be circa $20 for adults and half for kids. Do not waste your hard earn money visiting here.
It was nice to see the signs but I expected a little more and it’s super small
Spent 21 minutes walking around. Some cool things but definitely over priced. Just not my cup of tea.
Fantastic experience! So many incredible neon signs. Fun for all ages. And a perfect photo opportunity!
Great to see all the old neon signs. It was a little pricey but it goes to the nonprofit. Definitely awesome to see at night. It's not in a great part of town, so recommended to drive or uber.
What can I say, we were really looking forward to visiting the museum in the evening but arrived and were immediately disappointed with the museum. Many of the exhibits are not fully functional - and whilst the ones that are lit up are very good the overall experience was somewhat deflating for us. I hope that in time they can get more exhibits but there are much better activities to undertake in LV. We spent about 20-30mins at the Museum. If in Cincinnati visit the American Sign Museum it’s much better than the Las Vegas version.
Fantastic! This experience was wonderful at night. The signs were all lit and we were able to enjoy them as it was not so hot.
Read every sign - you'll be amazed at the age of some of the neon. The venue is graveled, not paved. Helps keep it a bit cooler, but you don't want to be wearing sandals or flip flops or you'll have very dirty feet. We went at night and I would 100% recommend that.
Not every sign is lit up but many are and it was very pretty and like walking down memory lane. I liked the little signs that told about each marquee.
What a magical place....the color...the lights!...history....a don't miss experience when in Vegas...off the strip but close enough to visit easily...
The Neon Museum had great write-up and reviews but for the ticket cost ($35 a piece) it was just average. I would recommend you go between 6-7 pm to see when the sun is setting and then enjoy the signs that are in working conditions. They have other large storage areas that are not included with tons of old signs but only allow you to see what is in the "boneyard" which is the whole museum. The description makes it sounds as if it a separate space as they limit time in the boneyard. The signs that are on display have interesting facts and stories attached. The staff was there but not engaging and the gift shop closed at 8am for a lunch break. For a museum that opens at 4pm- and starts getting busy at 7:30-ish, so to close the gift shop is loss in revenue.
Arrived at 4:00 when the museum opened. Not a good time to go since you cannot see the neon. Fee of $25 seemed overpriced for what you got to see.
