Palms Casino Resort

Not good when you are profiled going back to room your very first stay at hotel. I was on my way back to room in Fantasy Tower Sky Villas and the caucasian woman behind desk right before you get to elevators blurt out quickly demanding to see my room key card before getting on elevator....I would not have thought she was this way if she had asked the person that had passed ahead of me or the person that came after me..The past day or so all the other elevator team members were really nice and polite...She did not seem that way..My significant other asked me not to say anything but I am just tired of these type of moments. If you ask 1 person ask all to not make it obvious please.Other than that I enjoyed my stay and time on the casino floor.

We went to check in at 3:30pm and our room wasn’t ready yet. Told it would be about an hour till it was ready. Had 4 suitcases with us and walked to get a bite to eat from the McDonalds in the hotel. 45 minutes later it was ready. The line was about 30 people deep. We asked a worker if we needed to wait in the line again if we got a notification that our room was ready from when we check in about an hour ago. She said yes. 20 minutes later she comes over and apologizes that she was wrong and I can go to the line that was 0 people deep and has been for the 20 minutes we were waiting. After checking in with her, she said we would have a refrigerator in our room, no fridge. The WiFi doesn’t work no matter how many times I’ve restarted my phone and forgot the network and the TV used to have YouTube and Netflix but no longer does. We had to ask for the hose keepers to come even tho we weren’t in the room for a day and we didn’t have the DND sign on the door. There is no body soap in the dispenser and asked to get it filled and still nothing. The towels are rough and uncomfortable. There is little to no lighting in the room and there is 1 door in the bathroom and the shower is an open shower making the floor slippery if the towel mat is wet already. The only good thing is that I haven’t really been able to hear anyone around me.

Well appointed rooms. Numerous dining options. Functional casino. Nice, large screen in the Sports Booking area. Neat little food court area that has five or six fat food joints including McDonald's, Panda Express, and coming soon Cold Stone Creamery.

This was my 2nd staying here. The best hotel stay. The room was perfect shower with a bathtub jacuzzi built in. Nice. Marble bathroom nice. I like the design while Paris hotel rooms were to busy looking the palms has class with a simple look any one can enjoy. I like you can get a sit down restaurant breakfast excellent staff. Great steak and eggs. The lobby had one person checking us in and it was a wait. They required a 100 deposit which is standard practice. But I got one night then got another night 100 deposit ? On checkout the girl charged 62 dollars said oh I made a mistake was suppose to be a credit. I had to cut my trip short because son got in a motorcycle accident not life threatening but my son comes first over gambling. So missing 262.00 dollars not yet refunded its the 12th I checked out on the 3rd. No refund yet. Super nice clean casino. I highly recommend this place. There was room to walk around and not feel so crowded but people there.
