The Ahern is such a gem. It has everything you need, it’s always clean and well kept and the staff are super helpful and friendly. It’s close to everything but it doesn’t feel cloistered like most hotels on the strip. It’s easy to get in and out and they don’t charge you extra fees like some of the larger chains. It’s free to park and you don’t have to walk half a mile to get back to your room. I love that it’s owned by a family instead of a corporation. That makes a huge difference in how it’s run and you really feel that during your stay. Shout out to Eric in Security for packing up the clothes I forgot in my room and dropping them off at Fed Ex for me. You guys are amazing!!
My stay at the Ahern was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was awesome, and the staff were incredibly helpful, making the whole process smooth and welcoming. I also loved that this is one of the few hotels I know that includes free parking and free breakfast with your stay, which made everything so convenient. The location is very practical, and the rooms are fantastic, clean, comfortable, and impressive in every way. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Las Vegas. Breakfast was awesome! You get 4 choices, and we were all very impressed with the quality and quantity of food we received. For the price and everything we got, this was honestly the best place I could have picked. For example, at the Strat last summer, we stayed there for a week and had a horrible experience. First, check-in took a while and our room was cramped. Second, the AC was not working, so they moved us to another room that still had a horrible AC unit that was noisy and could not make the room cold enough. They cap it at 74. Third, it takes forever to get to your room because you have to cross the whole casino, and it really does take a long time. Fourth, it was $25 a day for parking, which came out to over $200 just for parking. All of this is common in other hotels. Stay at the Ahern, you will not regret it
Love it. This is a boutique hotel, therefore, not too crowded. Check-in was fast and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lobby was clean, wifi was fast. Our room was super spacious, it's a 1380 sqft penthouse with a sweeping 270° of city and mountain view, a large living room with couches, a big screen TV, dining table, working desk, fridge and coffee machine... Beautiful decor through out. A convenient powder room (sink and toilet) in living room area for guests. Bedroom is huge with sitting area, a large screen TV and a king size bed, very comfy with soft and silky bed sheets and pillows. Bathroom was clean with walk-in shower stall and double sinks vanity. Plenty of complimentary toiletries, HOWEVER, hotel should have more towels in bathroom. Although we stayed for 2 nights, they had just 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels and housekeeping is only available upon requested, not daily routine cleaning. My husband had to call housekeeping to request for more bath towels on 2nd day. - Overall, we like this hotel because it's quiet (no casino inside) safe, convenient location and best of all, a complimentary breakfast for 2 and NO PARKING fee. A rare find in Vegas, IMHO. - With all the amenities as described, what's not to like? Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed at this hotel for the BTS concert, and it’s conveniently located next to the Golden Nuggets Steak House. It’s a bit off the strip, but the price is quite reasonable, and the area is peaceful. The help desk staff are very helpful and friendly. We also received a free breakfast voucher for our stays, which runs from 7 AM to 10:30 AM. Plus, there’s free parking. To get your room cleaned, you’ll need to request housekeeping. If you have items on your bed, they won’t make the bed. They did forget to replenish some of the amenities, but it improved during our second stay. The water pressure is a bit low, and it’s not very strong. The free parking was a great perk! I’d definitely consider staying here again to save some money, especially for a quick visit.
