Fantastic tour! Everything was very well organized. The tour covered so many fun activities. The boat ride is stunning, it was so fun to swim to the isand bar and later to monkey island. We were able to get closer to the Kurds I. Our kayaks. The tour leader gave us interesting information aboard it the different areas and cultures we passed through. We had some unique experiences in the village and the countryside was stunning to bike through. Our boat had very diverse age groups. And they made accommodations for everyone to get around. While you can just hang out in the boat, there were many active things to do - I think everyone was joyfully tired by the end of the trip.

Amazing our guide Phuc was incredible. Food was amazing so delicious we were stuffed! Saw everything highlights were defo monkey island and gorgeous sunset cruise on the way home 10/10 definitely recommend and great value for money! 🥰

This tour, guided by "Phuc" was beyond amazing. The entire day, from beginning to end, was filled with not only the stunning beauty of both Lang Ha and Halong Bay, but a variety of amazing activities which included kayaking, swimming, feasting on delicious Vietnamese cusine, bicycling through a small village in the stunning national park, a fish foot massage, and even sampling some "happy wine". Could not have asked for a better time as were rewarded with great memories that will last a lifetime!!! 🍺😎👍

We had a great time. The scenery was incredible!!! The food was great 👍 We had a beach to ourselves. Phoc our guide was very knowledgeable 👍 All in all an AMAZING day 🤘🥰

Wonderful day filled with awesome activities, good food and a helpful welcoming staff. Not very touristy at all compared to Ha Long Bay and is super gorgeous. Would very highly recommend!

It was a full day of activities but still loads of down time to watch the amazing view, chat with each other and some even napped. The FOOD ON THE BOAT WAS AMAZING! Our guide Phuc was cheeky and funny and friendly. Highly recommend.

We did a day tour on the cruise and had a fantastic experience. The landscapes are breathtaking, the staff was super nice especially Phuc, our guide who told us many things about the bay, local life, and so much more. We could not recommend enough to do this tour, absolutely unforgettable. In January the touristic season is low so it was very peaceful and definitely not crowded.

Excellent one day your in the middle of the astounding Lan Ha Bay, mesmerising endless landscapes of limestock karsts and islets, hidden beaches and natural caves. It offers a good mix of slow contemplation of this incredible setting with some active moments for swimming, kayaking and biking. Food on board is good, abundant and included in the very reasonable price. Strongly recommend this tour for anyone willing to discover Lan Han Bay from CatBa Island

Great experience with Gem boat team, guide speak good english, and we could a lot of thing in 1 day ; cycling, kayaking, swimming ... Very fun and great management of timing ! Only the food was a bit disappointing, with no fresh seafood but fried fish. Snack was good and proportion ok. Still good quality for the price.

TLDR; I was expecting a bit more for the price honestly. Generally the trip was kinda mid (which would earn them 4 stars), but there were also quite a few dishonest moments (hence the low rating) which could have easily been solved with proper communication and setting the expectations correctly. The weather was cloudy but at least there were not too many tourist boats around. We had a few hours of going around the bay, and had the chance to take a swim (they even offered towels - nice). Then, there was some kind of mix-up with the kayaks so we went for the bike ride first. 6kms, nice scenery and nature; I quite enjoyed it after sitting on the boat for a few hours. After the ride we had lunch on the boat. Unfortunately, this was the first big letdown of the trip, as we were all expecting different kinds of dishes made from local fish (because the itinerary kind of hypes it all up). Regarding the proteins we got plain breaded and fried fish and only chicken and tofu besides that - no other seafood. Maybe the fried spring rolls had some shrimp in it, but if noone from the table could taste the shrimp, does it really matter? 😅 After lunch we went for the kayaking, which I reckon was some kind of backup location (due to the earlier mixup) because we did not get to explore the 3 tunnels or saltwater lakes the itinerary mentions: "you will kayak through three tunnels (Mekong Cave), discovering three beautiful saltwater lakes with a unique ecosystem". Again, I felt it could've been handled better with proper communication towards the guests. We completely skipped the Ba Men temple, which was another big letdown for me as I was looking forward to it. Our tour guide said that for environmental reasons they do not visit it anymore. I felt that keeping it in the tour description is very dishonest if it is not part of the official itinerary anymore. Unfortunately, our last stop - the Monkey Island - still had a final catch. For those not wanting to swim to the island (which was basically all but one guest) we could take a taxi boat. However, it did cost an extra 15k vnd per person (it was not a tip but the fee). I understand it's pocket change, but if the tour description says "All Fees and Taxes included" then I expect exactly that - to have everything included. Again, super dishonest. I genuinely feel sorry for our guide because he was a really nice bloke, but the dishonesty and lack of communication made this experience quite a negative one; Even though it could have been a chill "4 star" day trip.

What an amazing experience it was !!!! A perfect family activity for the day when in Vietnam!!! Everything from the pickup from hotel, to transfer on boat, to the cleanliness, the tour guide Mr. PHUC, the kayaking, the route that boat takes is all amazing with least possible crowds !!!! Kudos to Phuc for his dedication and explaining everything perfectly!!!! The vegetarian food was so so yummy and huge portions with many varieties!!! Cycling through the village was an add on experience with baby seats and kids friendly cycles available !!! Over all amazing and 5 star rated for every single thing. You just buy the boat tour and not spend any single penny as hidden charges except beverages on board.

Incredible way to spend a day in Cat Ba. Lots of memorable adventures and beautiful scenery. Went with 3 active friends and everyone has a blast. Happy was our guide and he was also outstanding.

We had an amazing experience for the one day cruise on Lan Ha Bay. Happy, our guide, was very interesting, kind and dynamic, and the other boat staff were nice and attentionate. He also spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable. We also felt like we experienced a unique and off-the-beaten-path cruise as we went to Dau Be Island and were the only boat to take that route. We were only 11 persons to take part of that cruise so it felt more like a private tour. We recommend 100%!

Our tour guide is very friendly and the tour is amazing as we could see nice view all the way. Our boat drove very far and we could see part of ha long bay. The swimming in the sea is very nice!

The best cruise we have made in Vietnam so far!! The Cruise was above our expectations!! First the guide is so nice and friendly and all the activities are amazing. The boat is perfect and they don’t do big groups which was what we are looking for :) I recommend it a lot!

Really good experience!! You sail a lot around the bay, the kayak is really nice and then you can swim near de boat. Then the village in cat ba is also really beautiful
