2 Days 1 Night Lan Ha, Ha Long Bay Tour With Licensed Guide

Puoc went out of his way to be helpful. The food was good, well-prepared and plentiful. My cabin was pleasant although a fellow passenger was given a room over the generator with only an opaque window which was sealed shut. There are only three cabins. I enjoyed the kayaking. However, although I had informed them three times it was my birthday, no cake appeared, no birthday wishes. It was my 75th, a landmark birthday, and I had chosen this cruise as a way of celebrating it. As it turned out it was a non-event and although I tried to chalk it up to experience I was very didappointed: you only get one chance at a 75th. I don't even like cake but that wasn't the point. I wanted to share my soecial day with my fellow passengers. Our guide had "only been told that morning". Last of all I have had gastro-intentional troubles ever since. I think this may have been because of the drinks swimming in melting ice which was most likely not filtered.

The trip was wonderful...well organised by our English speaking guide, Phuc. We did all the sightseeing advertised. We cycled, swam, kayaked inc. night kayak to see the plankton.... and had plenty of time to chill out on the deck. We were served delicious food - vegan, veggie, meat, seafood.. all cooked fresh! As well as the excellent guide, the team madd sure we were all comfortable - the rooms clean, comfortable with hot showers. Thank you for a memborable trip.

Tour guide Happy (Phuoc) was fantastic. The food was terrific and the second day kayaking amd swimming in the lagoon surrounded by karsts at the south end of Halong Bay was magical. 2nd daykayaking is much better and more secluded.

This is a great small boat experience. Excellent guide, luxurious cabin, delicious food, well run tour.

We had a fantastic trip with our informative and amazing guide Happy. The crew were fantastic, friendly and cooked amazing food. Accommodation was clean and spacious, nice room and hot water! Kayaking and swimming were superb. Only thing we didn't like was seeing so much rubbish in the water, it's a shame as Vietnam is so beautiful.

This is the perfect tour if you’re looking for something off the beaten track and away from the crowds. It was a small tour with only four people, which we preferred to the look of larger crowded boats. Our tour guide was excellent and so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was the best we’ve had from any tour in Vietnam and communication was great from the moment we booked. It included a really fun cycle trip, kayaking and bioluminescence at night. We loved it and it was great value too.

Highlight of our 2 weeks in Vietnam!! Àppy our guide was great!! Very Nice, welcoming, patient with kids and friendly, kayaking in beautiful places. Boat was comfortable nase in wood, luxury one, and the bay spectacular! We had a great time with family.

I loved the small intimate boat we were on! The food was delicious and the kayaking through caves was fun!! The scenery was awesome as well.

The boat is a bit worn, but the cabins are in good condition and quite spacious. There are only three cabins, so we sailed with just two other couples. The crew was very friendly and the food was good. All in all, a very nice experience and I highly recommend this company.

Tour guide, Happy, was excellent as he took the 8 of us kayaking through caves, biking through a national park in Cat Ba, kayaking at night for plankton, explained the fishing village and a while lot more. Very informative! Food was very tasty and a big variety for the four meals. Wonderful cook! Captain guided us safely through the gorgeous bay and the 3 of them all worked together to prepare a successful overnight trip.

Very good tour. Mr. Happy was a great tour guide. First day itinerary is tiring but very worth it. We did the swimming, kayaking and saw the plankton on the first day. We also went to the sea god temple. All of these activities are great and the views are jawdropping. Will recommend to anyone. We had some light rain but did not affect the kayaking at all. The mountains had mist because of the season which added to the gorgeous views.

First day was great! We cayaked some secluded caves, had good lunch and dinner and the tour guide told us everything we wanted to know. Second day was a bit slow and we were not taken to monkey island despite it being listed in the itinerary. Crew and tour guide were very good and the boat super cosy but it would have been better with a bit more even tempo over the two days and some info early on every day about the program. Bonus though for squid catching!

We had an amazing time on the beautiful boat. The room is perfectly cute, the tour is great and the staff is really nice, they managed to get to the places before big groups so we could enjoyed it better. The food on the boat is also really nice. Highly recommended 👌

Our guide Happi was excellent and really helpful. The accommodation food and trips incl kayaking and cycling were really great. Good idea to take the trip from Cat Ba as we saw and did much more.

Happy the tour guide was informative and had a great sense of humour. The lunch provided had great variety and was tasty. Highlight was visiting the lagoon and swimming.

The tour was amazing. We were a small group of 9 people and our tour guide Happy managed that we arrived at the bays and beaches before the other tours so we could enjoy it on our own. The cabin and food was also great. Everything was perfect.

We had a very good experience during this cruise. Not many people as the boat has just a few cabins. It was a real family vibes and we loved that. I couldn’t recommend more to go with them instead all this big touristic boats !

I had a 2 days 1 night experience on Lan Ha Bay kayaking into the cave, the beach is very beautiful, the food is very good and Kevin he is a great guide

Phuc was amazing! We got to see 8 caves completely uninterrupted with other tourist. Rode through a beautiful small village and got to watch the beautiful sunset on the boat. The food was exceptional and I am happy to say I haven’t eaten better in weeks. We saw the fishing village twice and Phuc got to show us where he grew up. The trip was reasonably priced and well worth the money. We had heard such mixed reviews but if you are considering doing it. It is truly a must! It was such a small group and that was truly amazing. We also kayaked at night and saw some bioluminescent.

Had the most amazing time doing the tour. And having Phoc as our tour guide made it even better. His English was really good and he had a great sense of humour. But he also kept you interested with his big knowledge of everything that cat ba and ha long has to offer. Couldn’t recommend it more! And thank you Phoc for the great time

We had a really great time on the boat. The activities (such as kayaking, bicycling) were nicely planed and we were always of the huge crowds of tourists. The food on the boat was amazing! The rooms are huge and clean. The best part of the trip was our tourguide Phuc! He is a nice young guy with a great knowledge and even better jokes!

We enjoyed the tour very much! Phuc is such a lovely, funny guide. He has so much knowledge about vietnamese culture and history. The boat and room was very comfortable. The captain is also a great chef! The food was amazing.

We appreciate Phuc our tour guide who speaks Vietnamese and English's. He was very kind and helpful in providing information of the Long Ha and Ha long Bay and patiently guiding our kayaks t ok the most enchanting water. The food was excellent. We had fresh meals with attention to both adults and children. We asked for more eggs at breakfast because they were so good and they were happy to provide. The Lon Ha and Ha long bays were tranquil and clean. The sky was cloudy so we could not see the green water but it added a mystic feel .

although it was expected to be cold in december, our family was very happy with the experience! kayaking was relaxing, food was great, and was just what we needed. our guide Phuc was awesome. he was very attentive to everyone in our group

An excellent tour of Lan Ha and Halong bay. Our tour guide,Phuc, was excellent. He always brought us the places with not many people. We went kayaking through caves and swimming. Because it was low season we ended up having the boat to ourselves. The captain and chef on the boat were so kind and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend. Phuc especially made our tour what is was. He gave us so much information about the bay and the surrounding areas and was always quick with a joke and laugh. We also managed to see some Cat Ba langurs while kayaking. Such a memorable trip and a highlight of our travels in Vietnam.

We had an amazing time on the 2 day one night cruise. Viet and Phuc were our guides and made the trip really fun and informative. The food was delicious and they accommodated for my vegetarian dietary requirements. The staff on board were lovely!

We would particularly like to highlight our tour guide Phúc, who was incredibly nice, attentive and informative, we felt well looked after all around. It's been very well organized. We loved the tranquility of the boat while combining it with activities that have made the boat trip very fun. The room on the boat was very spacious and very comfortable. Our guide has helped us a lot and provided everything we needed.

We booked a cruise 3 days 2 nights hard small boat ( 3 cabins): 1 / no interest to stay 3 days because it is the same route every day! /2 we pay for a so-called luxury cabin , which we will have only the second night; the first night was spent in a closet of 6 square meters where it is difficult not to hit your head if you measure more than 1.75 M; the bathroom and toilet is 1.5 square meters and especially this closet is located above the electricity generator that makes a deafening noise and emits exhaust gas that literally poisons the cabin air .... Headache , nausea , difficulty breathing!!!! I say filthy for not being rude! The Monkey Island is a tourist catch where there are a hundred times more tourists than monkeys that have been put there as tourist attraction!!!! As for the other activity; trekking crossing the island with boat return; in fact the guide has only interest to be with you to explain things about your route (the route otherwise does not require any guide because perfectly marked ) .... Except that he didn’t explain anything to us and ultimately only served to slow us down (because obviously injured in the knee ) then we had to wait for Monsieur to finish his lunch! Same for the private boat return that we had to wait 45 minutes in the rain and in the cold!! Weirdly the head of the agency who sold all this to us was never present again during our presences!!! And it goes without saying on the famous 3 caves that we sell you without telling you that the main one has been closed for a long time and that the other 2 are only one ..... kayaking where you are landed in an area reserved for this activity and where a good half dozen boats and a hundred kayaks are scrambling!!!! All in all: beurk! And I dare not imagine what it will be like in a few months when the new city out of the ground will be finished!!! Tens of thousands of “luxury” HLM-style accommodations stuck to each other in a distasteful Eurodysne ready to welcome tens of thousands of tourists who are circulated at the queue leu leu in locked activities!!! So flee Cat Ba and this agency!!!

Small group cruise (7 people). Very good guide , excellent and hearty meals , and various nice activities (kayak, swimming, massage by fish,...). Staff on the boat attentive and discreet.

A great experience! I recommend, the staff was very friendly, the food super good! A small boat, quiet, perfect to enjoy the view and relax. I spent the night on the boat, it was magical! The guide tells a lot of anecdotes and the activities follow one another, we do not see time pass! Great, thank you so much!

Our Vietnamese guide Phuc was great: flexible, accommodating, humorous and knowledgeable. We spent two days rich in activities, anecdotes and sensations, I recommend! Do not hesitate to specify if you want to cut off the electricity (including air conditioning) at night, for more calm and less pollution.

We took a two day and one night tour with the Family Cruise boat. Our guide "Happy" was great and funny, spacious rooms and delicious food!! We were disgusted to have to go home. 10000% recommended.

Although all the activities have been completed, the tour was supposed to finish at 3pm and by 12 we were in Cat Ba: by 11am we were eating in front of the port. They could have stopped to eat elsewhere with better views and then disembarked on schedule. The crew and food on board ok

The experience on this boat was perfect, it makes us forget the organization of the beginning a little chaotic on the other boat. Thank you to Happy, Vi and Dung for this beautiful time! Vi the captain was nice, he nicknamed me “Captain 2” for kayaking. We ate very well thanks to Dung who prepared us many dishes. We slept very well, the room was clean and well decorated with a window overlooking the outside in front of a seating area! Everyone was in good care, and Happy was a guide who explained well, with anecdotes and he made us laugh. The route is complete with the discovery of part of Halong Bay, and the village of Viet Hai, as well as a good little surprise at nightfall.

Our stay on the boat was wonderful! The tour was punctuated by our guide and we discovered many beautiful landscapes with various activities (swimming, canoeing, bycicling, foot bathing, visit to a picturesque village). The team on the boat was very careful, and every meal very good and hearty enough! We were in a small group and our guide always made sure to avoid the crowds of day tours. We were with our 2 young daughters, they feasted! I really recommend this cruise.

A very good experience to live. We had not had good weather my it remains a must-see place, we took full advantage even with the lack of sun. the staff who accompanied us was with little care everything was perfect!
