Escarpment Luxury Lodge

The Hotel was very nice! Upon our arrival we were greeted with nice refreshments. As we were a bit early, the rooms hadn't been ready, but as we waited we got to tour the garden where they plant and harvest almost all of the ingredients, Broccoli, kale, tomatoes, coffee, fruits and all kinds of vegetables and herbs. The staff is very friendly, especially our waiter Lucy and (I don't know his name) but we had a long chat with him as we were able so see a group of elephants right across from the pool terrace on the next hill foraging for food.

This hotel was where we spent our first night on our Tanzanian safari. What a beautiful place to welcome us to our tour!! We were upgraded to an executive room which was absolutely gorgeous. Huge, huge room with a comfy bed, private pool, bath robes, bath salts etc this place was an absolute dream Dinner was probably our nicest of all the safari lodges. Upendo our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone

We stayed a night in Escarpment as part of our trip. They welcomed us the Maasai way. The location is beautiful and they have a view point overlooking Lake Manyara. You could hear animals in the night when you take dinner. The rooms are individual chalets that were super spacious and had a luxury feel. The pool looked amazing but unfortunately a bit cold in June to swim. We had full board - Breakfast spread was good, packed lunches were also delicious and the dinner was excellent with nice choices. We tried local Swahili food. The staff are super friendly, special mention to Upenda who served us all the time. She was so caring and courteous. Highly recommend anyone looking to stay in the area!

We had an exceptional stay at Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara. The food and drinks were absolutely stunning, while the service was impeccable and genuinely among the best we have ever received. Our waitress, Eddie, looked after us throughout our entire stay and was extremely attentive, warm and thoughtful. She was an absolute star. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. We were celebrating both our honeymoon and my wife’s birthday, and the team made sure we celebrated each occasion in style, including wonderful singing and dancing that created memories we will never forget. The lodge itself is beautiful, with extensive use of warm, natural wood throughout. Everything felt very new, fresh and spotlessly clean. We also loved the connection with the local Maasai community, including the memorable song and dance that welcomed us when we arrived. From the beautiful surroundings and outstanding food to the exceptional service, everything about our stay was first class. We would wholeheartedly recommend Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara to all our friends and family.
