Stresa To Isola Bella Hop-on Hop-off Boat Ticket

The hop-on-hop-off ferry service is terrific and exceptional value for money. €21 pp for a go anywhere day ticket. We started from Pallanza, one service goes clockwise to Intra , Stresa and the Borromeeneon Islands, the other goes anti-clockwise so you have total choice for the sequence you want for visits and to get back again. Isola Madre by far the best but it costs an additional €27 to get into the villa and gardens, still worth it. Isola Bella very good, maybe a bit ostentatious but you can get a double ticket with Madre for an extra €9. Wouldn't bother with Isola Pescatori unless you're going for lunch at one of the many restaurants, there's nothing else there. Altogether a fabulous day out, we did it twice.

Booked a three islands ticket, paid a three island ticket, received a one island ticket . Better to buy your ticket directly on the spot.

They disgues themselves as "the official" service, literally hooking you up when you are in the parking lot or in line to get the ticket from the official one. Instead they are nothing more than a private taxi company and, as usually happens in Italy for the taxies, it's a fraude. NO RECEIPT whatsoever, and when I asked to pay with credit card( I refused to pay off the books) the rate for the children ( she is 10 years old) that he offered me before, was suddenly only avalaible for infants only, so I had to pay the adult rate. SECURITY: The service, from a safety and security point of view it's an HAZARD and totally UNSAFE, as they don't secure themselves when getting at the hairbours with ANYTHING, they just mantain the boat in line with the engine on. Their attitude, when mentioning any of the above has been extremely arrogant, disgraceful and rude. DON'T TAKE IT, go for the OFFICIAL SERVICE instead

Our hop on hop off boat was booked through Viator. It was on schedule all day and fun to ride to the 3 islands.

Disorganised, no schedules, long waits, no information. Despite representing the benefits of the small "taxi" ferries to the three Borromean Islands the reality was significantly different. There were no safe jetties. There were no schedules and we waited on each island in some confusion before moving to the next. We recommend using the standard schedule ferry service.

<p>The service was good, but limited time on islands would use other ferry services which were more frequent and offered more options, it was not really hop on hop off as we had to get to all 3 islands in a set time as last pick up was 13:50 which meant we rushed.</p>

<p>I have read a few reviews saying that the ferries are chaotic, but I found them very easy to navigate once you had found the right boat to accept your particular ticket. They come at the same time every hour, so you can spend as long as you like on each one. The islands are stunningly beautiful, and have lots to explore. Although I travelled on a Sunday and it was busy, there are parts of each island where the crowds can be escaped. Definitely a great trip.</p>

<p>it's not easy to find your boat with no signs whatsoever. You had to ask around, not to mention that you also need to exchange your voucher with boat driver! Other than this, islands are great places to visit.</p>

Convenient ticket to visit the islands. We only visited Isola Bella because there you are about 3/4 hours! You can then just sit on the boat, because Isola Bella is the last stop.

Überteuerte Museen + Gärten. Die Bootsfahrt an sich war ok. Aber 18€ Eintritt für einen Garten und ansonsten 0 Attraktionen bei z.b isola madre, sind ein Witz!

21/07/22, after booking tickets for the ferries tour MOTHER ISLAND and BEAUTIFUL ISLAND, with tours of visits to the aforementioned islands, we arrive at the boarding and there was no one. The other people at work for other companies told us, "Now someone's coming, wait here." After more than 20 minutes of waiting, the attendant arrives and tells us to head a hundred meters from the cage "under the white flag". We run and meet a guy who tells us that the boat had just left!!! . We point out that that inefficiency would have cost us another wait that would have forced us to visit MOTHER ISLAND in just 45 minutes not to miss the last ferry to BEAUTIFUL ISLAND. . We managed to do the whole excursion, the first one running, the second one more relaxed. We found the same attendant who, very nicely, asked us if we had made it... we answered affirmatively but we still complained about the disservice not dependent on our will... we were in time... it would have been enough to point IMMEDIATELY to the small pier and the white flag and we would not have lost 45 precious minutes for our visit. . I also add... what is the use of booking online, printing tickets and arriving on time if you then have to go with tickets online in a locker to get them "converted" into white tickets filled out by hand on a notebook??? . Imagine the difficulty for foreign tourists (even though the operators spoke most of the European languages) who decide to book online. . 3 stars just because the places are breathtaking... otherwise I would have put 2.

Very bad experience we spend our time waiting for the boats for half an hour or even three quarters of an hour because they do not all stop at the same places not to mention the fact that you have to pay 6€ more to have the right to go down to the Borromean Islands where there is not much to visit except the merchants and if you want to visit the palaces the rates are very high. Please allow for water as it is very difficult to find water at all stages of the tour.

Like three years ago, ineptitude and insolence. We wanted the ticket with which you can reach all stations, because we already knew the islands, especially to the other side of the lake. However, they have simply divided the stations into 3 areas so that you can not drive e.g. from Baveno to Luino. The lake is the boromees islands are beautiful The villages around the lake are splendid and the people so kind. Do not hesitate to visit the islands and villas with garden.

A disaster. Purchased the tickets online, I show up at the ticket office and the attendant says "For the online tickets you have to ask Mr. Lorenzo, he finds it in the car park". So I leave in search of this Lorenzo, the only repository of knowledge related to online purchases. I begin to head to the parking lot asking the various crewmen in sailor uniforms if they knew the "Great Wise Lorenzo" and the sketch took shape, "He's tall. He has a beard" until I reach a couple of fake sailors who say "Talk to him, he's basically his right hand man!" Finally I reach Mr. Lorenzo, who without checking the confirmation email, liquidates me with a paper card with two scribbles on it. At this point we move on to phase 2, "The search for the boat". There are several piers and the combination of ticket and pier is of a chromatic type, in the sense that you have to check if on the relic received from Supreme Lorenzo there are the colors that allow you to board the boat. Not a sign explaining schedules, modes of transportation from one island to another. Nothing. You queue up, hoping that the line is the right one, and wait under the sun. All for 12 euros per person. A real shame, because the place is wonderful and deserves a Welcoming Service worthy of the name.

I had booked on the internet the combo of the 3 islands. When I arrive on the spot, I meet a "captain" because they are good at putting on caps... He explains to me that the first departure will only be at 9:45 when the appointment on the reservation ticket mentions 9:00... and then they ensure rotation only every hour to his account and no pre-established schedule could be transmitted to me. So we have absolutely no idea who you are, where... In short and at the height of the very last departure 15:30 approximately... In short, it is impossible to organize yourself to visit all the islands quietly and serenely. Conclusion: I agreed to discard my reservation for these unofficial lines and went to take for a similar amount of daily tickets to make the islands and even more, with schedules every 35 to 40 min (in both directions), thanks to many boats (not just 1...) in addition the first rotations start around 7:00 am until late evening. Forget them!!!

Wonderful day all the islands are original and very welcoming the vegetation the flowers the fruits and animals you find are unique

On the internet we are told an amount when buying tickets on site they were cheaper. Also on the day of our visit one of the islands was not accessible but I had paid for the 3 and impossible to be reimbursed the difference. Do not buy on the internet.

<p>Plus d'une heure et demie d'attente avant d'avoir la navette Interlaghi pour nous déposer sur Isola Bella alors qu'en fait il y avait beaucoup d'autres compagnies sur place! De plus, ce n'est pas un circuit à arrêt multiples mais juste un aller retour et l'île se visite en un quart d'heure si on ne visite pas le palais. Décevant!</p>
