Villa Dei Cedri Thermal Park & Natural Spa

This place is far more than simply recommended: I would describe Villa dei Cedri as a must-have experience for anyone planning a trip to Italy. The residences are an unexpected slice of paradise, immersed in a setting where you can live as if suspended in time, completely detached from everyday life. You can practically spend your entire stay in a bathrobe and feel like one of the chosen few. Highly recommended.

An extraordinary place in every respect. Set in a 13-hectare park with mature trees, all perfectly maintained. Breakfast alone is a celebration; the view of all this greenery and the birds and squirrels that inhabit it is incredibly relaxing and makes breakfast taste like a royal feast. Two thermal lakes, continuously fed with mineralized water at temperatures between 33–39 degrees, lounge chairs scattered throughout the park, grottoes with jacuzzis, and showers with warm mineral water—all provide an incredible sense of relaxation when you use them. The rooms are spacious, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a comfortable bathroom, and most importantly: your own private hot spring-fed jacuzzi. Plus, the room’s design makes an evening soak a feast for the senses. But perhaps the greatest asset is the staff: tactful, polite, extremely helpful, and kind. Every single person working there embodies the definition of perfect hospitality. As for the downsides, I’d say that once you step through the gate, you won’t want to venture outside the park grounds :-) The second downside—but unfortunately, this is just part of the charm of this region of Italy—is the mosquitoes. But if you’re aware of these pesky little creatures, you can stock up on the right sprays. Besides, the ladies on staff offer “repellents” that you can plug into an outlet. You could colloquially say, “zero downsides, nothing but upsides.”

We stayed at in the apartments and had a wonderful time. We are a family of 6 and the apartment was very spacious and clean. The resort really exceeded our expectations. The thermal pools were excellent and the entire gardens very well maintained. We ended up extending our stay by one night as we loved it so much. The service was brilliant all round and a special mention to Eden and Matilda and all their help with questions / taxis etc. I would highly recommend this resort and we will certainly return.

We stayed here for four nights with our children of 21, 19 and 17 years old and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed relaxing at the thermal lakes during the day, and swimming in them by night. It was not too busy, certainly not in comparison to the busyness at the Garda Lake. Great venue to relax with your family and have quality time. The gym is awesome with a lot of different equipment and a good airco. The park is quite big with a lot of nice and different sorts of trees. We especially enjoyed walking through the park by night with the beautiful lighting. We stayed at residence 3 which is close to the small thermal lake. Our room was a little bit dark, but we mostly stayed outside so that didn’t bother us too much. A lot of nice restaurants in the neighborhood. And easy parking for your car. If you’re looking for a relaxing time with your family or friends, I highly recommend this place 💫
