Sport Hotel Olimpo

We were staying in the hotel for a week. Despite some negative reviews I have to say I was surprised to how lovely and clean the hotel was. Very nice , attentive and professional staff, room spacious and clean, bed linen and towels changed regularly. Food...plenty of it, great choice of local dishes. We have had half board, however evening meals didn't include drinking tap water. All drinks were have to be purchased at the restaurant, prices weren't high at all. Our room was facing the pool, deep and clean, not suitable for none swimmers. Room equipped with AC and shooter blind, wee fridge and all toiletries. Hotel located about 10 min walk up the hill from the centre main road, could be a challenge for any person with walking difficulties. Town is beautiful, plenty of restaurants, local shops and easy access to buses and boats. Highly recommended.

1/5 Stars - Terrible Service and Hygiene I am highly disappointed with my stay at Sporthotel Olimpo. The conditions here are completely unacceptable. First, the room had bugs in it, which is incredibly unhygienic and made it impossible to feel comfortable. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no room cleaning provided during the stay. Trash accumulated, and basic housekeeping was completely ignored. A hotel needs to maintain basic cleanliness, and this place completely fails at it. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until they fix their management and cleaning standards.

Great hotel, rooms were lovely, decent sized breakfast with options. Only 5-10 mins to the lakeside. Pool was big and service was exceptional, all the staff were really lovely and the view from our room was beautiful.

I will give 1 star only for the view from our hotel and clean room, but… We paid €300 for 4 nights and had “upgraded” apartments. There was NO toilet paper, bed sheets, towels, or soap in the apartment. I also asked at the reception about an iron — they didn’t have one either. I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!
