Leonardo Hotel Lago Di Garda - Wellness And Spa

Currently staying in the hotel, nearing the end of our stay. Staff are first class, always helpful and polite and happy! Yes some of the hotel is dated, but our room was clean and no issues. Breakfast really good, does get busy around 9am. Hotel is out of the way for non car users but shuttle service was brilliant, always on time! Once we tried to get back from Lazise and struggled for a taxi, reception were brilliant and sorted a shuttle and charged a nominal fee. The comments around kids in the adult pool are fair, but that should sit with parents allowing that to happen and not for the hotel to police all the time! Some of the recent poor reviews are harsh as it doesn’t do the accommodation or people working in the hotel justice.

Water was cut 2 times for a long time, I was mid shower first time second time at the toilets, it happened during the night shift, the response I got was “I don’t give a f***” they gave us a smaller room although we booked the larger option. Lots of flies if you open your veranda’s door you will be stung. Breakfast is mid. Rooms are a bit outdated. Pool bar is really poor. Would recommend staying at other places in the area as this has a low value for money Huge parking though and an option for ev charging. They do not offer water at the rooms, you have to buy it. I got there at night and had to carry my bags to the room instead of them doing it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Leonardo Hotel Lago di Garda – Wellness and Spa. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The wellness facilities were outstanding — the spa, pools, and relaxation areas created the perfect atmosphere to unwind and recharge. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the food and drinks; there was a great variety, and everything was fresh and delicious. A special shoutout to the lady who gave us our massage. She was incredibly professional, friendly, and made us feel completely relaxed from start to finish. It was one of the highlights of our stay and truly elevated our wellness experience. The location near Lazise is ideal for exploring the area around Lake Garda while still enjoying a peaceful and relaxing environment. Overall, we had an amazing experience and truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. We would highly recommend Leonardo Hotel Lago di Garda to anyone looking for a relaxing wellness retreat, and we would love to return in the future!!

Good hotel, but staff not very accommodating. We stayed here for 3 nights and mostly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a beautiful, quiet position in the countryside. The room was a good size and had everything you needed. The adult pool was lovely and breakfast was pretty good, aside from the terrible coffee. We tried the restaurant one night and the food was good, but overpriced. We also made use of the shuttle bus to Lazise, which was good value compared with getting a taxi. However, it doesn't run every night, so to go out for the evening involves a 15/20 euro taxi each way or 40 min walk. There was also noisy building work going on during our last morning at the hotel, which made it not so relaxing. Some of the reception staff were unhelpful and unaccommodating. We asked to extend our checkout by 1-2 hours because of our late flight, but were refused point blank. They didn't even check when the next guests were checking into our room. We were told we could use the pool, facilities and shower in the spa for 50 euros, which was too much money for 1-2 hours extra. Most decent hotels will let you use the pool after checkout and provide somewhere for you to shower before your trip home, free of charge. Another member of staff was reluctant to even call us a taxi, which is surely a basic service. Finally, we had membership to the Leonardo club, so expected to be able to get discounts on food/drinks. However, the hotel would not honour this as we had not booked the room directly with them. This seemed to contradict the info on the club website. They came up with several excuses as to why they couldn't honour the discount and were totally inflexible. This hotel has its positives, but I would be reluctant to stay here again due to the unaccommodating staff.
