Sunset Sailing Lake Como With Private Skipper

It was a lovely ride but there was no wind so no sailing. Disappointing. It was not mentioned in the booking that there is frequently not enough wind. If you want a sailing trip I would book this.

This was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. I decided to propose to my girlfriend during our boat tour, and Christina, the owner, went above and beyond to help make everything perfect. She helped me coordinate with a local photographer beforehand and made sure everything was arranged so the proposal went exactly as planned. Our captain was fantastic as well. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of interesting history about Lake Como and the surrounding villas throughout the tour. I am extremely grateful to Christina and our captain for helping make such an important moment truly unforgettable for my partner and me. Whether you are proposing or not, getting out on the water is an absolute must when visiting Lake Como. I highly recommend Bellagio Yacht Experience.

Very nice relaxing 2 hrs on the water seeing a multitude of Villa’s. Do not expect to be sailing as winds are calm and it is a motorized sailing boat. We loved the captain and his mate.

Although a little hard to locate the boat, the Skipper, wine, snacks and views were fabulous. Nothing like sailing on Lake Como.

Incredible experience! This was at the end of our trip to Italy and it was the absolute cherry on top to an amazing adventure. The sunset sailing of Lake Como was incredible and our guide & captain was so informative and incredible. It was great getting to hear about his experiences traveling and sailing the world. He gave us recommendations for dinner and visiting local towns. He also gave us ideas for our next trip to Italy as well as some other locations across the world. We had an amazing time and it was the perfect ending to our trip.

The sailboat tour was amazing. We had to reschedule due to rain but they were very accommodating and Marco was cheerful and kept us laughing while learning about lake como. Would recommend Bellagio Yacht Experience to those going to lake como.

Excellent day on the lake! Our captain was wonderful and informative, telling stories about the villas and villages we passed. The views are incomparable. The day we originally scheduled had a sudden thunderstorm, and the company was very accommodating in moving our sailing to the next day when it was sunny and safe to sail. It was a great experience for us all!

Marco the Captain was awesome, Julia the Alfa Romeo family was very welcoming and organized us well, grateful for the morning sail, it happened to be best time! I want full refund. They were not able to take us. They tried 2 days before to have us change booking because they double booked. They then blamed weather, but were still able to take the new group they double booked. I can send you all the conversation. We will get full refund. It is unfortunate because all that I have booked from you all has been a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed a wonderful sail on a beautiful boat. The sights of Lake Como were highlighted by our captain, Stefano, who provided history or notable information.

Cristina and Stephon gave us a wonderful tour of the coast between Menaggio and Tremezzo, combining history with interesting current information about the area. They accommodated us by picking our group up in Menaggio, saving us a trip to Bellagio, which we greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Bellagio Yacht Experience to anyone looking for a pleasant trip with knowledgeable, professional sailors who are interested in making their guests feel both safe and welcomed.

We loved the opportunity to see the lake shore from the water. There was no wind, so we motored only, but the leisurely pace, the beautiful weather, and the views were amazing. Our captain gave us a nice tour, sharing names of places and some stories of what we were seeing on the shoreline. He is a skilled sailor and made us feel very welcome and pampered.

Our 2 hour tour was perfect from start to finish. We really enjoyed our Capitan. He was very professional yet relaxed so as to make everyone really comfortable. There were four of us on this tour so we had him to ourselves and it really was easy conversation with questions answered and a thorough yet not staged explanation of our tour on beautiful Lake Como. Snacks and Prosecco were enjoyable and sufficient.

We had a wonderful evening on the lake. The drinks and snacks were terrific. It was very hot out and it was nice to swim a little as well.

Marco was great. We enjoyed listening to him describe and speak to the various villas and sights around the lake. It was very relaxing and special - it was my wife's birthday. Highly recommended!

Marco was amazing! He gave us a locals perspective to the lake. The boat was big and clean. Small bites and a bottle of Prosecco were provided. Would do it again!

The boat took a slow speed so we could enjoy all the beautiful sites of the lake and villas. We had a knowledge and comedic captain. The appetizers and Procecco were refreshing. Christi, arranged everything, made every accommodations for us...changed dates and got us a driver back to the ferry because the sailboat is on the other side of Bellagio. We were extremely satisfied with our experience.

This was a lovely, unnarrated, cruise around Lake Como. It was a very affordable trip on a ferry style boat. Easy boarding and friendly, helpful staff.

The sailing was excellent we had a beautiful view of the Alps and the guide Frederico was gracious and entertaining

My family and I had the most magical sunset boat experience with Federico and Cristina. Cristina was so helpful and responsive leading up to the experience, including when we met her in person. We brought prosecco and some charcuterie, but they also provided prosecco and delicious finger foods. The seating in the boat was clean and very comfy. Federico manned the ship and the ride was always smooth. He got along so well with my family, by the end of the tour, he felt like one of us! He pointed out some famous sites and kept the conversations engaging and fun. He allowed us to use their bathroom downstairs which was much needed after a few bottles of prosecco! Sunset itself was so beautiful, but every view in any angle was amazing every minute of the tour. Very proposal friendly ;) I highly highly recommend this tour with Federico and Cristina!

What a lovely relaxing evening on Lake Como. Everything was absolutely perfect. Christina was kind enough to transport us from our hotel outside of Bellagio to and from the sailboat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and Frederico. They are such an adorable couple and we felt so comfortable with them. The scenery was lovely, the snacks and Prosecco were a great touch, and the company was excellent as well. We would give it 6 stars if we could. It is definitely money well spent and will be a memory of a lifetime for you. Cheers to you Christina and Frederico!!

What a wonderful way to see parts of Lake Como. The weather was fantastic. The boat was very smart. Our skipper spoke with us along the way on various highlights. I would highly recommend the experience . Great memory 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Frederico has lived in como for 16 years and is a wealth of knowledge - he knew who owned every house and gave us so many fun facts. He was super chill and allowed us to swim (and even threw us noodles!). Highly recommend especially the sun set tour - beautiful and such a great way to see como

This was second time in lake como and decided to have a sailing party tour with my friends. I specifically message the boat company prior to confirming my booking as i was comparing which route and which boat company to hire to maximize our time on the lake and to see as much sites including several mansions near lake como. they sent me a list of the sites to visit and I agreed to book it through bellagio yacht experience. When we hopped in the boat the captain/ owner was quiet and stirred the boat around the direction towards lecco. It was a nice and sunny day in the 90’s kind of weather.We didn’t see any mansions or any sites. We just went around Lecco. He didn’t mention anything. I silently went through the trip! As not to spoil my vacation with my friends.The next day i meesage them in regards to this. I received a reply saying it was the wind condition. What a pathetic excuse. I have the impression that if he could get away with it he’ll do it assuming we didn’t know our way around como! What a shame then thwy have the nerve to refund me $54😡😕😕

My husband and I enjoyed a magical evening with the very kind and knowledgeable Captain Frederico, sipping Prosecco and watching the sun go down as we learnt more about the history of some of the wonderful places which are visible from the water. It was both relaxing and invigorating in equal measure, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Lake Como which we’d do again in a heart beat! A huge thank you also to Frederico’s beautiful wife who so kindly arranged transfers for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone, it was incredible!

Absolutely amazing sailboat experience! Our skipper and his wife provided excellent hospitality. Our evening excursion was truly magical - the champagne and homemade focaccia an added plus. Highly recommend.

This was a really great experience. Frederico is a gracious host. This is a small company run by he and his wife, Cristina, who communicated extremely well. It was a beautiful boat ride (although the winds did not cooperate for an actual “sail”). Frederico was the perfect tour guide in that he was extremely knowledgeable and was willing and able to answer absolutely any question we could think of, but on the other hand he was fine just letting us relax and enjoy the view (he did not feel the need to talk continuously). The boat is clean and beautiful. It is obviously well-maintained. A couple words of caution - this tour leaves from the “back side” of Bellagio (relative to the ferry and stores), which is largely only accessible by climbing (and descending) a couple hundred stairs. In addition, getting on and off the boat was not easy for my elderly mother, although this was partly my fault because I did not warn the tour operator that I would be bringing somebody with her needs on board. Frederico was very kind in that he was willing to bring us back straight to our hotel in Canarregio, rather than returning us to Bellagio (where we would’ve had to take another boat home). This is a very highly recommended tour - well worth the money.

We had the best time ever! Fredrico was AMAZING and his sailboat is so beautiful! We enjoyed sparkling wine throughout the sunset cruise and we would definitely recommend this trip to all.

Look no further than Frederick and Cristina in Bellagio From the first Cristina helped so much coordinating schedules including late night driver and can back to Como If a person can have a job where it glorifies his passion this is it. You can read out Frederico’s experience in building and restoring ships. You can also learn of his experience sailing historic tall ships in the Mediterranean but you must experience him sailing on Lake Como. His technical confidence gives way to a wonderfully happy, passionate soul who is building life his way. We enjoyed snacks and wine while he stayed the course. But we had two hours of getting to know each other snd the surroundings. He is a man whose passion and lust for sailing comes pouring though. He was born to go this. He made everyone including first tile sailors feel comfortable. His personality ES engaging. The stories of his youth and Lake Como were so funny My wife and I as well as our adult kids and Don in law had wonderful memory making time. Thanks to Cristina and Frederico

Incredible!! We would book the boat over and over again. The views across the lake are the best by boat! We got to sail round and have a good look at the other towns and particular villas and houses. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. They are very relaxed which makes the trip so enjoyable! We asked so many questions and Fredderico answered for us. The boat is lovely and comfy. We were given Prosecco onboard and offered red wine, we were also able to bring a bottle of our own of whatever else we fancied. It was a lovely touch. I highly recommend this company!

Excellent experience all around. Used the sails when we had wind and motor when we didn't. Captain and his wife own the business and are very knowledgeable about everything on the lake. Definitely recommend this for couples or small groups. One last comment. There is only one negative review suggesting his trip got cancelled because there were only 2 people. Cost is sane for 2 or ,6 so I suspect it is a fake review from a jealous competitor.

This is an amazing boat tour to do while visiting Lake Como. The views were incredible and the captain was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. We hit a little rain during our trip but they still made it an awesome experience and even set up a little cover so we wouldn’t get hit by the rain. Highly recommend!

The highlight of our honeymoon! The initial sailing time had to be delayed due to weather but Carlo worked within our limited time and even upgraded our boat so that we were still able to sail! Carlo was so knowledgeable about the regions history and properties plus he was just a great guy to chat with during the cruise. Their new boat, the Bowie was GORGEOUS. We can’t recommend this experience enough, definitely a must-do while on Lake Como.

The memories of this will last a lifetime. Cannot recommend this booking enough! We had a great two hours hearing the history of the lake and enjoying the views.
