Small-group Lake Como Local Food Tour With Wine

Attilia was an EXCELLENT Guide! We enjoyed this tour immensely and Attilia gave us great information about the culture and her experiences. She took us to a delicious wine shop, pizzeria, lunch Osteria, gelateria, and café for espresso. Thank you for a wonderful day!!

Elisa is a wonderful person and an amazing food tour guide. We had a great time tasting and enjoying local food in Lake Como. At every restaurant Elisa shared the history of the restaurant, or the history of the food, and having that information made us appreciate what was to be served - delicious food. She is passionate about sharing her culture and food with everyone she meets. I highly recommend Elisa's Do Eat Better food tour experience.

Our guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. The food choices were very good, although having wine at 11am was a bit early for us lol. There is a lot of walking and the group moved very quickly. So if you have mobility issues, take note. Otherwise, I would highly recommend her tour!

Met with Elisa for approximately 3 hour visit around Como. Ate some delicious food and visited places we wouldn’t have normally visited. Not much walking for those who may struggle, mostly local to the area around the Duomo. Definitely an activity to do whilst in Como.

True Italy eating experience. Greta was knowledgeable, engaging, enthusiastic about the local area and culture. She held great conversation, and understood the correct pacing for the tour. She provides excellent experience for a tourist, without feeling like a tourist. All food options were delicious! Would absolutely book with her again.

Food was pretty average. Better to have had local tastings of specialities rather than menues from an average restaurant.

The paste was fine. Too Small of a group, only 4 people. Food was not great, could have found better on our own. Not enough information about Como and surroundings, not enough suggestions for our free time was provided.

Tour was very well organized and personable. Giorgia, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable of Como and local cuisine, and very helpful to all members of the group. Unfortunately it was raining throughout the entire tour, but our guide adjusted the tour to accomodate and provided personal recommendations for activities to do in the Lake Como area. The main course of the tour was at a small local restaurant, not somewhere that we would've found ourselves, so it was a great experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get an introduction to the Como area and local Italian food!

We were a multi-generational group of 10, a generally hard to wrangle group. Chiara was fantastic - engaging, lighthearted, intelligent, and perceptive in reading the group. The food we tasted was delicious, and we would not have ordered the dishes we lived without her instruction.

It was a perfect tour of food drinks and great conversation. We ate some great food in some really cool off the beaten path places. This was at the end of our trip to Como and we saw all new places which was great. Giorgia was a fantastic guide. Would definitely recommend!

The food tour was our first activity in Como and it was great! Our host was lovely and knowledgeable. We learned many things about the Como area and had some delicious food, wine, gelato and espresso along the way! A perfect first activity to get ourselves acclimated to the area.

It was only us and our guide! Georgia was a great guide. She showed us some less touristy streets and things to look for at local shops. We started at a local wine shop which was so charming and had an awesome dinner at a trattoria. Great way to explore the city!

Our guide Janis was very friendly, she taught us a lot about como and gave tips for where to go and what to eat. The places we stopped for food were also very friendly and the tastings were very good. I would Suggest doing this tour on the first day of your como visit to get a good idea of the city, get your bearings, and you will go back to some of the sites again.

This walking food tour, led by our guide Mario, was amazing. We tried a lot of traditional foods, including ravioli, pizza, and buckwheat! The people on our tour were also great. Mario did a great job explaining the history behind the food and pointing out some points of interest in Lake Como. This food tour was one of the best I have done (and I have done a lot of them).
