Terrible directions vaguely put us near where we needed to be. No signage, no people to help guide us. We called the company to no answer. We called triatour and trip advisor. They took 15 minutes to send us further in the wrong direction. Then we finally reached the person who was there to guide us and they sent a picture of where the tour was supposed to be. IT WAS RIGHT NEXT TO WHERE WE STARTED… then we got told we were 15 minutes late, the boat has left, no refund. There was no attempt to look for us or contact us, the operator sent us further away. Terrible TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Only book this tour if you are local or know what they are talking about. They will not hesitate to scam you out of your money. And just tell you that you got it wrong. 😵💫
The boat tour of Lake Como was fabulous. We had beautiful weather and a great captain. The location of the starting point changed between the time of booking to the day of the tour. We had a very hard time, and a long walk, to find the dock. We missed the original departure time, but the staff was able to get us on a later boat tour.

Absolutely amazing experience - we went with friends & we all had a super time. Alessandro is really knowledgeable & the stops give enough time to have a wander, grab a drink or an ice cream. We were worried 4 hrs could be too long but in the end, we didn’t want to get off the boat. Seeing the Lake from the boat was superb, would highly recommend

The views were nice but there are many problems with this tour. -it was very hard to find the right operator at the pier, and we waited for 15mins in the hot sun after the tour was supposed to start. (It’s Salimar but that was not listed on Viator) - they crammed 14 people on a very small boat with no life jackets and I had to sit up on the side where my pants were soaked by the waves. -they gave us maybe 50ml of warm nasty Prosecco as an “aperitif” -the “guide” (this was his first time taking tourists out) gave such information as “I think this was built in the 17th century” and didn’t really have much to say, not that we would have heard him over the engine. -overall the boat was cool and the speed was fun but this is not a “guided tour” and we didn’t really get information about what we were seeing. Overall I wished I had booked with another company or just taken the local ferry.
Boat tour was enjoyable however we were overcharged when we paid at the dock. We paid €60 each but on email we received afterwards price was €50 each! It was very chaotic at the dock as lots of people standing around not knowing what group they were in and what trip they were going on. Was told would leave in 10 mins and actually left 40 mins later. The tour itself was good and Prosecco provided as stated but better organisation needed at dock.

Alessandro was great!! The experience was super beautiful with lots of laughter and photos, singing and drinks. There was traffic in como making it a bit difficult to get to the meeting spot so we recommend arriving early just incase you have to run hehe.

The pick up place changed and we were not notified. Mobilty walking issues and all of a sudden we had to walk a mile, had to get a taxi which was very expensive and then when they dropped us off it was another mile walk back so we paid $$$$ for an uber. I thought we were going to see George cluny’s home and was told that was too far. Loading and unloading was hard with a person with a new hip and felt very rushed trying to climb on an off. Better communication on when the pickup and drop off changes. Not very happy about the whole thing paid at least $65 euros for a taxi and a black uber., because we could not get a comfort uber, took almost as n hour to get an uber to respond.

The morning of our boat ride, it poured & Lake Como was very rocky- we asked to move our ride to later in the day, and they said no. They would not allow us to cancel or change the times, even though we knew we were leaving the next morning. I filed a complaint with my credit card company.
It’s a fairly short tour around bottom part of the lake but the boat was very comfortable and the captain was very nice and informative.
