Wery nicw choice to see best points of Lugano, and the boat guide was great, good music taste! Amazing
We did the 2 hour cruise which was so enjoyable. It was a small group, some seated at the front of the boat and three of us at the back. Our driver/guide was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable (I’m so sorry to have forgotten his name). He stopped at each of the highlights of the tour and gave us information and answered any queries we had. The retro Italian themed songs in between stops was a nice touch and added to the atmosphere. I would recommend.
We had a wonderful time! Captain Frank was very knowledgeable and a great guide. The stop at Nesso was enchanting. It was a brisk sunny day with strong winds, which made the boat ride an invigorating adventure!! Highly recommended. TEN 👍 UP
The tour was great, but company asked us to pay $60 more for 1 hour private tour (we purchased shared tour) or $82 more for shared 2 hours tour 1 hour later. We took 2 hours and were happy we did even it completely changed our plan for the day.
I did the 1hr speed boat tour. Really lovely scenic route passing by some amazing villas and towns. We did about ~5 stops and got a brief description of what we were seeing from our captain / guide. There wasn’t huge amounts of information - I’d have maybe liked a little more history/knowledge - but it was fun, and the journey was beautiful - it was lovely to see the lake from the water. Visitor seemed to charge a lot more than if I’d have paid directly to the company themselves / on the shore, so I’d recommend booking directly.
Had the best time on this boat tour!! Francesco was amazing! Since my friend and I were the only people signed up for our time, we were asked to pay an extra 35 euros each to cover gas (stated clearly in the description when booking) which was still a great price for a private boat tour. Definitely recommend!!!
I would have rated a 0 but would not have let me. We booked a 1 hour shared cruise. We got there and they told us because no one else showed up we would either have to pay more money. We refused to pay so they would not take us. We waited 20 minutes to see if someone else would show up and they didn’t and the owner refused to take us. They treated us like we were at fault. We felt like they were trying to scam us and were so rude to us
This was an amazing boat tour! Not only was our guide knowledgeable but I get motion sickness when on a boat; I took medicine but told our guide how I get. Every time the waves were getting large from other boats he would purposely slow down and ask if I was feeling ok. It was the perfect balance of smooth sailing, beautiful views, and the best tour guide on the lake. The boat was immaculate and impressive. It looked brand new. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this tour!
Initially booked as a private tour for 2-3. Then modified after purchase to shared. Company sold 5 tickets at the dock at a massively reduced rate 45 Euros per person. Still had fun but do not waste your money purchasing at a full retail rate assuming it will be a private tour...
Our adult family of 4 really enjoyed the 2-hour 2:30 boat tour of Lake Como with Philippo our driver. He was the “Captain of Como” and shared so much history and info about the lake, Villa’s, and other sights. The prosecco was very refreshing at our 1/2 point. Bring your own water to stay hydrated.
We loved the boat ride. A bit disappointing that we weren’t offered Prosecco as the tour description stated in the Trip Advisor description of what to expect.
Filippo was a great pilot, showed us all the beautiful sights on the lake. Good knowledge of history of the area and excellent driving of the boat.
This was the best part of our day on como. The guide was amazing and we had an awesome time. We did the 2 hr and it was perfect.
Nice clean boat, friendly & mostly knowledgeable crew but sat for 15 minutes of 2 hour tour at Nesso where we watched strangers jump off a bridge (we were given opportunity but no one was interested) instead of boating just a tad further to see a bit more before turning around. After we turned around and only had 1/2 hour left of 2 hour tour I asked where the advertised prosecco was & the captain feigned surprise! “Oh you want prosecco? Ok” He poured us the prosecco then continued the bumpy ride back so that much of the prosecco spilled! Not clear why it wasn’t offered earlier or while we sat forever at Nesso.
Well worth spending a bit extra and having a 2 hour trip. Fun captain and only 5 of us on the boat so a very personalised service. We booked at 6.15pm but didn’t leave until 6.45pm so it was a little cold and getting dark when we arrived back - but the trip was still well worth it and he supplied blankets so all good. Amazing lake and villas and good commentary by the captain.
the best way to know all of the lake and history of everything in the around village and I really enjoyed the moment of the trip
Everything was perfect! The tour guide was great. Super tour
