Classic Boat Tour On Lake Como

Very relaxing, informative and so visually stimulating! Our Captain Frank, a native of Como had answers for all our many questions. And being George Clooney fans, not only did we see his home, the Captain popped a bottle of champagne in front of George’s home and we held our glasses to toast a great actor with great taste.And the entire ride we listened to Sinatra and yaght rock. It was a perfect day.

Hello, I still remember my experience on this day; the driver - Frank of the LA DOLCE VITA was very rude to me towards the end of the cruise. Not only rude, but was very impatient…. I would not use him again.

It is a great experience and very informative. Frank the captain did a wonderful job of driving and explaining key landmarks

It was very fun. The captain is very competent and well prepared. He showed a lot of famous and beautiful buildings (for example the house of George Clooney). I highly recommend him to you.

Our tour guide texted and then called me, as we were having trouble finding the meeting place. He was very helpful. The boat driver gave us lots of information about the villas around the lake, and even some very interesting history! We really enjoyed our cruise!

The boat tour was excellent. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. The weather was cold and stormy so our guide provided blankets to keep us warm. We highly recommend this tour.

Made a last minute booking as water taxis were full and few. What a great decision. We saw the entire lower part of the Como leg of the lake on a fast boat with many stops to tell us what we were seeing. Local captain.

We had the best time with Frank. Our reservation was for 5:00 and he pulled up to the dock at 4:55. We hoped in, and off we went. It was the perfect time of day as the sun was beginning to go down and the lake seemed quiet. Frank would slow down to answer our questions (we had many, Do regular people live in Lake Como, Do you have forest fires, does it snow here, etc). We had a blast and would do it again. Highly recommend.

Frank was so great! He gave us tidbits and jokes about all of the local history, fun facts, and peak points! We were even able to bring a bottle of wine to enjoy while out on the water. Our ride was cut a bit short due to the weather, but appreciate the care for our safety!

Oh my gosh - where do we begin?!? **JUST DO THIS!! BOOK THIS CRUISE** On the spur of the moment, we booked a 1 hour cruise on Lake Como with Frank. It turned out to be one of the MOST FABULOUS things we have EVER done!!! Frank is **Amazing**. His personality is over-the-top. He's passionate, he's energetic, he's super fun, and he's outrageously funny!!! His boat is very nice and easily held us 4 passengers. Pure comfort. It was evening and the sun was setting. We boarded the boat and within 5 minutes, Frank was jetting us across Lake Como. As we passed by the breathtaking sites and homes, we truly felt like celebrities! Frank then took the time to stop and show us many sights and also give us commentary on what we were seeing. He is both an outstanding boat captain and a natural born tour guide. He genuinely loves what he does - and it clearly shows. We simply could not get enough of him!!! When all was over, we hugged Frank - a LOT. Then we all hugged each other -- spontaneously celebrating the **unforgettable experience** which we had just lived. Do yourself a favor and book Frank to take you. Trust me, you will never regret it. We will forever have lasting memories of our cruise on Lake Como. And, we will **NEVER** forget Frank. Love that man!!! So again, **JUST BOOK THIS**. You'll see....

All the women swooning over George Clooney’s house. And, we saw Santa Claus on a boat. “Frank” was friendly, knowledgeable and funny. A great host.

This boat tour was the highlight of our trip to Como. Frank gave us an insightful tour of the local area, and he was incredibly friendly and fun. He even encouraged me to face my fears and sit at the front of the boat; I’m so glad that I did as it was one of the best life experiences I’ve ever had! The boat was absolutely beautiful. Lovely private tour with Frank, the captain of La Dolce Vita. He’s an expert at navigating the lake and shared many details of the villas and their history. Easy access on and off, right from the Como waterfront.

Amazing tour and perfectly timed with the sunset. Francesco was wonderful at helping with my nervous mum (she doesn’t like water or boats). He was an amazing guide with lots of character and had some many facts about all the villas. He also took the best photos on the boat and helped with posing. Frank, the driver, was very kind and funny. The boat ride was breezy and bumpy. Best part was when we got to stay on the front of the boat, tho a bit more bumpy. Wish we saw more villas and got more facts about them, other than that the villa is a hotel.
