Bellagio E-bike Tour + Villa Melzi + Lunch (Meet The Locals)

E bikes for the win in order to see areas of Bellagio you wouldn’t otherwise get to see!! We went to Pescallo, the tiny fishing village below the town, then on to Loppia and to San Giovanni. We rode up high about the town to Il Perlo with its gorgeous view. We rode through fields and got a different feeling for the little hamlets around Bellagio away from the hustle and bustle of the town!! After our bike ride, we got shuttled up to Il Perlo for an absolutely fabulous lunch with incredible views. It was such a good meal we went back there for dinner a few nights later. Finally we got dropped off at Villa Melzi and got to wander through the gardens at our own pace… a spectacular day and a beautiful town. Estephano was an amazing guide. He went at a good pace and we felt safe there entire time!!

This was one of the funnest experiences of our 11 day trip to Italy. Our guide, Alex, was friendly, fun, and informative. We rode down tiny cobblestone paths and visited small lake-side villages not generally seen by tourists. This was a 5-Star tour!

Wow! This was a full experience. Don’t mistake this for just a bike ride. It’s SO much more and will leave you appreciating the true Bellagio. Our e-bike guide, Stephano, was fantastic at showing us a different side of all the places you may already know but more importantly the cute places you wouldn’t have ever known otherwise. He gave us choices for easy paths and hard paths (choose hard! The e-bikes will do the hard work if you don’t want to). We saw the most adorable hidden villages and streets far from the ferry terminal. And a literal breathtaking view of Bellagio. But that was just the start. After that, we were shuttled to Il Perlo for an outstanding lunch on the terrace with a view that I truly believe may be THE best in all of Italy. This was one of my top 5 meal experiences of all time. Then after that, you’re shuttled to the I Giardini di Villa Melzi (garden), for a beautiful stroll through the most well landscaped, and interesting garden with picturesque views of the lake. This will be a highlight of your trip. Book this.

Over 5 hours of activities in one experience. You start with your guide seeing the town before it gets super busy via ebike. He took us to some cool spots no cars can go without other tourists. Next a shuttle picked us up and we had a wonderful lunch with an amazing viewpoint of the lake. Finally the shuttle takes you to a villa where you can see the most amazing plants, trees, and flowers. Great value in this experience. 5/5

Simone was an amazing guide. We had so much fun, and the scenery is so beautiful. Three in the group were not cyclist and they did great with the E-assist (cheat assist). Would do again. As a cyclist loved the hills, as it was a dream fulfilled cycling in Italy. Personally wanted to go faster downhill, but I understand the need for safety. Thank you for a perfect day. Lunch was perfection. It was so good we went back for dinner, plus the view was unforgettable.

Alberto was a fantastic guide for our biking trip around Bellagio! The bikes are in very good condition and we were able to see so much more of Bellagio than if we were walking. We highly recommend this tour!

Great way to see parts of the city you wouldn’t normally see, good exercise, wonderful guide, delicious lunch with spectacular view, gardens were beautiful. Fun filled day!

Amazing tour and the best way to get around Bellagio. We saw it all! Alberto was a terrific guide. He took us to all the best sites. The lunch was a wonderful surprise in a boutique wine cellar / restaurant. And the villa Melzi Gardens were gorgeous!

We were blessed by the weather which made it an enjoyable morning. However, this bike tour is a total rip off for what you get! Our guide was a lovely guy and knew where to go but wasn’t particularly forthcoming with local knowledge/facts/stories. The 3 course lunch advertised was only a 2 course lunch. Overall, a nice way to see Bellagio but you could easily do this my hiring bikes yourself and saving a small fortune!

Stefano was excellent guide!! Really enjoyed the bike ride. The lunch venue was excellent, by the food could have been better given we paid over $400 for 2 people. Also we met couple of people on the shuttle that had almost the same food. We asked the restaurant if we could sit together and they refused. It surprises us the level of inflexibility and lack of service in Milan and Lake Como. Villa Melzi was fantastic. Overall my rating is 5 star, but the entire thing is a bit over priced. Perhaps Viator is taking too much Commision?

Our guide spoke English and was very informative about Bellagio!! The views were very picturesque!! The lunch was very fun in a wine cellar:)

We didn’t know what to expect but as soon as we met our guide Stefania we saw a part of Bellagio we never would have, away from the crowd. The lunch at the end was the best food we’ve eaten in Como so far.

Alberto gave us a fabulous tour around the Bellagio Provence, and we saw so many things we would not have been able to see otherwise. The electric bike was very helpful on the uphill portions,

My family of four had a wonderful time with our guide Alberto. He was very patient we me because I’m not the most athletic person around. The E-bike was very easy to use and made riding up the hills a breeze. I would definitely do this again with this company. The lunch was fabulous as well. The view was breathtaking.

The bikes were not of great quality. One kept shifting on its own. The roads are too crowded with vehicles. The guide does not know details or much history. There were too many people in the way

We had a great time and the guide was very knowledgeable. He took us to areas of the city that we would have never ventured into without his lead. The only issue is we never received the pictures and videos he took of my wife and I as he promised. Sure hope you can intervene to make that happen. Thank you

Our family had an amazing time on our e-bike tour with Alberto. He was so kind and friendly, and took time to help us on our bikes, and ensure our safety along the route. We stopped in various places to learn more about Bellagio, including a farm, a few quiet beaches, and the bustling town centre. The night before our tour there was a huge rainstorm, so they were able to rearrange our tour to start with the fabulous lunch, as opposed to ending with it. The meal and the views were spectacular. By the time we started cycling, the roads were dry and it all worked out great. Our bikes were great. Everything was great. So happy we booked this tour, and so happy that Alberto was our guide. He is the BEST.

We had such a great time, our guide had great knowledge of the area and knew some beautiful spots to see and kindly took a bunch of photos for us. Was such a great way to see the town without having to have the fitness for those hills :D. The lunch was amazing, and such a picturesque setting, so beautiful!! Would 100% recommend!! :)

5 stars without a doubt. Alberto was a great guide and cyclist. Each stop was stunning in its own right and his conversation at different landmarks was very enlightening and entertaining. We were able to see parts of Bellagio that we never would have found on our own. The lunch was delicious and the views of Bellagio and Lake Como were incredible. I don't often speak in superlatives, but this is just the truth. After lunch, Elena was kind enough to show us around a local farmhouse and then guide us through the Villa Melzi Gardens. She was so lovely and curates a great experience for tourists visiting Bellagio. This tour far exceeded expectations and I would absolutely recommend to anyone comfortable on a bicycle.

Our guide was informative, helpful and pleasant. The lunch after the tour was excellent and the view from the restaurant, spectacular. We needed to leave early and they were quick to accommodate us. The bike tour was a highlight of our trip to Lake Como!

All in all this was not a bad experience. I would of liked some more information at the beginning about the riding route and what would be happening during the course of the 4 hours. We didn’t ride to the lunch venue we came back to the starting point and got driven up the hill. The lunch location was beautiful the lunch above average. For the price there could of been a little more attention to detail. There wasn’t a lot of local information communicated by the leader during the ride.

Alberto is the BEST!! Not only is he a 11-time Tour de France competitor (who wore the yellow leader’s jersey for four days!) but he’s also the kindest person you’ll ever meet!! He’s also very knowledgeable about Bellagio. My wife and I had a great day touring Bellagio with Alberto which ended with an incredible lunch organized by Elena overlooking Lake Como. A+!!

We had a wonderful e-bike in Bellagio and our tour guide Mossimo was amazing! This was a group of 6 adults and he ensured we were comfortable on the bikes and stopped frequently so that we knew what we were seeing!

We traveled with our 18- and 20-year old sons to Switzerland and Italy for 10 days, and this tour was hands down one of the biggest highlights of our entire trip. The weather forecast was not ideal, and Elena could not have been more communicative and accommodating to our group. We saw Bellagio from hidden roads and back ways, and loved all of the little cultural tips and stories about the locals. Our only regret was that our schedule didn't allow us to linger with her and our bike guide Alberto at lunch , as we had to get to another tour (the weather had us cramming a lot into one day). Elena even went with me to make sure I bought the right ferry tickets for our next tour, and helped us navigate our way around the busy town of Bellagio before and after our time with her. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat, and cannot recommend it enough.
