We had an amazing morning with Giovanni onboard his Boston Whaler in Lake Como. The boat was immaculate, so comfortable for 6 Adults. We spent most of the time at the front of the boat moving to the back when we went for a swim where steps provided easy access into the water. We had a couple of requests on our trip which Giovanni was very happy to weave into our morning together. The stop for a swim was excellent and took place in a really safe and beautiful spot. Giovanni was so friendly and helpful, our pick up and drop off was at Menaggio and the communication was simple, frequent and straightforward. Celebratory fizz including a few snacks were also supplied - I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both a trip on the lake and Giovanni - thank you our two boys never stopped smiling from the moment they boarded the boat to the moment they got off..

Itinerary
We will start our tour from the floating dock of Sant'Agostino
As soon as we leave the port, we will be able to admire Life Electric, the sculpture by starchitect Daniel Libeskind.
We will continue north on the west coast until we arrive at Villa Olmo, a historic neoclassical residence located at the end of the lake promenade of the villas of Borgo Vico, surrounded by a large Italian garden.
We will then reach Cernobbio from where it will be possible to admire Villa Erba, which was the home of Luchino Visconti and is currently used, together with its exhibition centre, for trade fairs, concerts and events.
We will then pass by the shore of Cernobbio to reach Villa d'Este, a luxurious 5-star luxury hotel, home to the "Concorso d'Eleganza" and the Ambrosetti forum, among others.
We will arrive in Moltrasio, home of the villa le Cassinelle, the home of Gianni Versace on Lake Como
After passing the village of Carate Urio we will reach Laglio where we will admire Villa Oleandra, home of George Clooney.
We will continue towards the Comacina island, the only island of Lake Como, where it will also be possible to swim.
We will go up to the villa of Balbianello and we will coast along the gulf of Venus.
We will admire the villa of Balbiano and Lenno with its adorable gulf of Venus
We will meet Tremezzo on the western shore of the Como branch of the lake where we will be able to appreciate the magnificent grand hotel and villa Carlotta..
From Lenno we will cross the lake reaching the magnificent Villa Melzi in Bellagio where Napoleon Bonaparte also lived. Skirting its gardens we will reach the square of Bellagio, passing it we will gain the tip where the lake divides into two branches called the tip spartivento.
We will then reach the tip entering the Lecco branch where we will be able to consume our aperitif and swim in one of the cleanest and most suggestive points of the lake.
We will continue sailing in the direction of Varenna, one of the most beautiful and characteristic villages of the lake that we will be able to admire while sailing along the coast.
We set off again for Como descending on the east coast passing through Lezzeno, in the direction of Nesso.
Returning along the coast we will reach the Orrido di Nesso and the Roman bridge of the Civera, famous all over the world from which it will be possible to dive for crazy photos on your social networks
Continuing along the coast we will reach the Villa Pliniana Where the legends of ghosts hover, then we coast by visiting the Grand Hotel "Il Sereno" Recently renovated by the Victoria Secret Saint Bart group.
We will then pass through the Mandarin Oriental and Villa Troubetzkoy finally returning to Como for the dropoff.

This trip was amazing! Giovanni was an amazing host, telling us history of the different towns along the water. He also pointed out a lot of celebrity houses along the way. booked this tour during my last visit to lake como. sunny sunday mid april. the captain picked us up in tremezzo and cruised around tremezzina and isola comacina. plenty of photo opportunities especially around villa balbianello and villa cassinella, both stunning! then we headed to bellagio and varenna, had a stop ashore for italian gelato and a stroll around the village. back on board giovanni treated us with complimentary wine and pizzas. we enjoyed our time on the boat, relaxing, chatting, sunbathing. the overall experience was simply perfect. highly recommended!
We just spent a short weekend in lake como and this boat tour was the real highlight! The captain picked us up from como town and we cruised up to bellagio, offered us chilled italian prosecco and few snacks while storytelling about lake villas and tales. One of us was brave enough too jump!

Excellent service. Astonishing views of lake como, it is really worth it! Seeing the ‘lake’ from the lake… and this lake! Gosh, can’t wait to be back again!! Tour was taken out of season, sunny december day, was just great from start to finish. Lake como can be pleasant during winter without the summer crowds feels even more faboulous. Giovanni is really welcoming and speaks fluent english. Totally spoiled us with treats! Highly recommended.

Giovanni is a great skipper. Discreet but gives you all the information you need. Effective, it alternates slow passages in front of villages and beautiful villas, throttle (2X250 HP) when necessary and stop for swimming when you want. The boat, a Boston Whaler lends itself effectively to this type of ride: rear seats, front beach and especially fast to give you a fairly wide panorama of Lake Como. Giovanni masters the tempo perfectly according to the chosen cruising time. It is also a good Trip Tip if you decide to eat at a restaurant. The price may seem excessive but it is a good investment if you want to keep a nice memory of Lake Como.

We start the tour from the city of Como and arrive at Bellagio. The lake is splendidly beautiful. Excellent service, there is food and drink and everything on time. It was also nice to hear the history of the villas, the captain was a great help. Highly recommended.
