Paolo is the best, he made the boat experience so great explaining the whole area and villas. It felt more personally rather than the other boat cruises. He was very accommodating along with making the trip very fun with the Bluetooth speaker and drinks. I would do this again when visit lake Como and to anyone coming to visit I would recommend doing this cruise. 10 out of 10

What a fantastic experience with Paolo. A boat day on any of our trips is always memorable and this one is right up there. Starting from the fact that he picked us up and dropped us back at our hotel was a game changer not to mention the boat was very clean in great shape and perfect for the two of us on the lake. (Suitable for up to 7). Paolo was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the lake and its history which made the ride more interesting. He was also really flexible about the itinerary allowing for on/off stops anywhere we preferred. Highly recommend a private charter with him if you’re looking for a special day on Lake Como.

We had a fun & educational experience on our boat tour. Paolo, our guide, was very pleasant and so knowledgeable about Lake Como -- how nice to have someone local to area who was so adept at offering our tour to us in English.

From start to finish, this was the best tour of our trip. Not only did we have a completely customized afternoon on the lake filled with swimming spots and stops at little villages along the way, but Poalo gave us the inside scoop on all the villas that we passed. Paulo(sp) was great, we had afternoon four hour tour after he had already done tours all day, he was helpful and great to have as guide, highly recommend.

Paolo did a fascinating and fun tour of Lake Como for our family (my husband and two daughters ages 24 and 26). He gave us interesting history and also lots of pop culture information. We loved hearing about all the movies filmed here and seeing the sites. We stopped for gelato in a cute village and had wine and Italian snacks on the boat. It was a beautiful day on the water thanks to Paolo!

We enjoyed this experience as one of the highlights of our summer vacation to Italy! Our guide was knowledgeable about the area and offered us a personalized experience. Everything from the scenery, to the guide, to the cheese, wine, and strawberries- absolutely lovely! We will definitely book this experience again when we return to Italy!

We had an amazing time with Paolo. He is super friendly, knows his way around the lake and the history of literally every building around the coast. Instead of the touristy towns, we visited hidden gems, highly recommended!

Paulo was such a friendly captain! This was our first time to Lake Como and he was very knowledgeable about the history and villas. He is well spoken in English. We had yummy snacks and drinks and stopped to swim. Made a stop in Varenna to get some gelato and it was an excellent day. He even made a dinner recommendation for us and it was the best food! We would definitely look him up again if we come back to the lake in the future.

Paolo was wonderful and made our boat day SO enjoyable! We had prosecco and italian snacks while he showed us the highlights around Lake Como. He was very informative, funny, and he also provided us with great recommendations for dinner and taxis. We saw so much during our 4hr boat ride, including some swim time and a stop in Verenna for gelato! It was one of our favorite activities during our trip, would definitely recommend booking with Paolo!!!

Paolo has a great boat and he's a terrific captain. He really knows the lake, he’ll point out all the places you’ll want to see and he’ll take you to all the best places on the lake. He’s got a lot of information to share about the region, he also has some fun stories and was just a very nice, fun person overall. He really helped us get the most out of our time together. Paolo was the quintessential Italian host, full or charisma and charm, his main goal was that we had a fabulous time. The tour was peppered with interesting facts, tidbits and personal stories. Fresh strawberries and champagne sealed the deal for us. Can’t recommend this experience highly enough.

Our tour with Paulo was the highlight of our trip to Lake Como! He picked us up at our hotel in Torno. His speedboat was very comfortable for my family of 6 and he customized our tour so that we did not see the exact same sights we had seen on a Vaporina boat tour the day before. We stopped for a swim in a beautiful spot and enjoyed some snacks and drinks as well. Paulo brought a floaty for my son so that he could have something to hold on to in the water. (We all got a family picture swimming with the inflatable alligator, lol). Paulo was an excellent guide and an overall great person to spend several hours with. If you’re looking for a fun way to see the sights of the lake, as well as spending some time swimming in it, this is the tour to take!

We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip with Paolo! There were 6 of us on a private 4 hour tour. I wish we could have had the boat for the whole day! Paolo arrived on time at the pick up point and returned us safely back on time! During the ride he pointed out some important/significant villas and landscape details, and he answered our questions, and told a few interesting stories. We did not feel like we were on a “tour” but more of an enjoyable “ride”. He was friendly, and a good boat driver, never going too fast to enjoy the scenery or talk to each other. We stopped and enjoyed apéritivo on the boat for 30ish minutes. Paolo provided Prosecco, fresh fruit, and cheese. We also stopped briefly (30 min) at Bellagio for a bottle of wine and some sandwiches to take on the boat but decided we’d like to spend as much time on the boat as possible, which I would recommend to everyone who books. (You can take the ferry separately to Bellagio as they run routes all day). Paolo was kind, patient, and excellent at communicating! While the boat may not be the most chic to look at, it doesn’t matter because you’re looking at the views the whole time! Excellent ride, comfortable seats. I suggest doing 4+ hours for the most enjoyable, slow paced excursion. :)

At the last minute we had to switch boats and drivers. Ricardo was an excellent host and made our day so much fun!

The boat canceled twice. Once and then a new boat was found. Then the night before the second boat canceled. Extremely unprofessional.

Paolo was great! He gave us a tour as we boated past famous villas, took us to a bridge to jump into the lake, and another swimming spot. He also had snacks, wine, and beer! Would recommend!

Two of the best hours of vacation I have ever had. Paolo is an incredible guy who gave us a tour and went around beautiful Lake Como for 2 hours. He brought us to 2 incredible swimming spots and showed us an ancient bridge to jump off. Paolo took pictures of us and served us wine, cheese, fruit, and beer while playing great music. I cannot recommend this boat tour with Paolo enough and will be telling anyone I know that comes to Lake Como to book it.

Amazing experience for my wife and I and our four young kids (8, 5, 3, and 1). Paolo picked us up in a beautiful boat near our Airbnb and showed us all around the lake, traditional villages, aristocrat houses, shared stories, and brought us to some epic swimming areas. Having the sparkling wine on board as we sailed into the sunset was a memory we’ll never forget. Highly recommend!

We reserved a 3 hour private boat tour on como lake with family and couple friends. Great, nice and fast boat large enough for 7 people. Paolo picked us on time at our hotel, he showed us nice places and highlights on the lake, swimming places. I can recommend this trip for everyone who wants to enjoy a good afternoon in the lake!
