Our family had an amazing time on Lake Como! The boat was excellent condition, the captain and owner were personable & helpful, and the views from the lake were amazing. Our captain, Enzo, was awesome. Five stars.

Ended up being a private tour as there was not enough people for a group. Cost $200 euros more. Luka was a great skipper and gave us great rise and showed us some key houses along the way.

Trully kind and flexible organiser helped us enjoy our trip to como to the maximum. Boat is comfortable and trip allows you to see the villages and the landscape without the hassle of the trains or busses that are crowded. Highly recommend it.

A great way to be introduced to Lake Como; Captain Luca and the rest of the Black Pearl crew were excellent. Booking with Viator was a breeze.

Boat operator had to shift boat/schedule for our group, but we got a larger boat (Venetian Taxi) with an extra hour thrown in to spend time in Varenna. Our young Captain Gian was capable and knowledgeable about the history of Lake Como. Recommended!

Bright & easy. 1 hue to Bellagio, 1 hour there, 1 hour back with a great skipper & music….perfect day.

You never know how many people are going to be on the boat until you show up for the trip. I had booked what I thought was a private trip for two people and when we get to the boat another couple showed up for a private trip with two people. The boat can only fit 4 passengers comfortably table bucket for up to five or six and then you have to sit on the back of the boat on the soft deck. It was a disappointment for both couples that it was not a private trip. There is no refund once you get to the boat. On a positive note, Jon our captian and tour guide was very good. I would suggest going to the pickup point early in the day when you want a tour and confirming/negotiating a tour.

Our family had a great boat day in lake Como! Our guide John was excellent! Got to enjoy the views and learn about Lake Como and got about an hour to explore Bellagio. definitely recommend this for anyone in lake como!

Upon arriving at the dock, was informed by the tour director that our boat had an issue, but the replacement boat provided an extra hour and stop at no extra charge (woo hoo!). Felt like we were being swindled by a used car salesman. 9 passengers were crammed onto a 22' center console open fisherman (4 of which were corralled by the tour director on the dicks at the last minute). As we approached Bellagio, the engine began to sputter. We were informed that the boat has a mechanical issue and the trip had to be cut short and the ride back to the dock took twice as long (boo hoo). Felt more like a water taxi to Bellagio rather than a guided tour. Better to have spent a lttle extra for a private tour.

George was an enthusiastic & knowledgeable captain! The boat was the perfect size. It felt like a private tour. If you can afford it, this is much better then taking an over stuffed ferry. Also, the stop in Bellagio was such a treat. It was the town I never knew I needed to see. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Italy

Captain George was very knowledgeable and a good guide for our 3 hr tour. Understand that you may not be the only party on the boat which isn't an issue unless you want to avoid sun/rain and there are limit seating under shade.

John was an awesome tour guide. Three hour tour was great. Beautiful surroundings. Bellagio was a beautiful little town.

Amazing day on lake. Our guide George was an excellent and skilled captain. He was very knowledgeable about the lake and its sights. He seemed to live his job. Music playing, he was singing and dancing the entire trip, which made for a great day. Would recommend highly!!!

I had originally booked a three hour private tour for my family. Luca called and asked if he could come at a later time on a bigger boat. I agreed and came to the dock and much to my surprise it was no longer a private boat tour. There were two other parties on our boat. The other group stated they’ve also had reserved a private tour. This point Luca had left and when I asked the captain about the changes he said he doesn’t handle scheduling. There was no apologies or a refund.

The lake is choppy when busy and can bump you around. It was fine for us John was a fun guide and was attentive

This was THE BEST way to explore Lake Como without the bustle of crowds - it was so relaxing & George our amazing guide made it a lot of fun too! I had researched many boat tour companies & thought this looked the best & it was! The boat was super fast & luxurious & George’s commentary was very informative - we learnt a lot about Lake Como & some special secrets too! It is the best way to see Como!

We booked a tour for €230 per person, €690 in total!! (a 4-year-old child and 2 adults). For this price, I assumed it was a private tour. This wasn't the case, so beware. The worst part is that at the end they added extra people and only charges them €80 per person. This is a good price for a group tour, but they were able to offer this price by ripping us off. Mr. Luca is an extremely unhelpful man! He'll only do his best for you if he can make money. He also said, "Just write a review, I only have 5-star reviews." I understand that, since he's ripping off one group and then offering the rest a lower price. He's a very untrustworthy man! We also had to sign a contract for €455, which I didn't do. Then they changed it quickly to €690. This says enough. For this price, you can find a nicer boat with a private tour elsewhere. Even though mr Luca rood is we had such an expensive boat so we couldn’t expect that it would be private. Well mr Luca.. I don’t think you know a lot of boats then… So, you've been warned! Please don’t pay €700 just like we did! I think he will respond on my review with a lot of nonsense like he did today.

Gian was exceptional host! Great energy and made the trip so much fun! We did 3 hours tour. 10/10 would highly recommend.

A unique experience, and the captain was excellent in driving and explaining the places, and he was very funny. I highly recommend the experience.

First, they switched the boat without informing us, so we ended up waiting a long time for the wrong one. Then, when we boarded, we were handed a three-page document in Italian (which we don’t understand) and were asked to sign it quickly — they said they couldn’t depart until we had signed. Very loud music was played on the boat. It didn’t feel much like a tour — there was very little information. For €700, we expected it to be a private tour. It was extremely hot on the boat, and the only shaded area was already taken by another family. Pleasant overall, but definitely not worth the price.

The boat was very old, worn out, and small. This is not a private tour. Our guide was kind enough, but it was not an entertaining experience. I’ve done boat tours all over the world with Viator and this was the most disappointing. The captain didn’t offer to take any photos of us (which is very common practice). The prosecco was warm and we were not offered water.

This boat tour was so much fun! Our Captain, George, was great! He took us to the most beautiful spots and played great music. We had an incredible day on the water. I would highly recommend this tour!

We had a great time on our boat cruise! We highly recommend. It is definitely worth booking a small boat tour rather than just taking the ferry from town to town (we did both). Our guide, Gian, was fantastic. When he learned we had made an impromptu trip to Bellagio the day before our tour, he offered to let us skip that part of the tour and take us swimming instead. He was super friendly and accommodating and we got to swim in the lake's crystal water for about an hour. Truly an amazing experience! 10/10!

It was a lovely early afternoon on the boat and visiting Bellagio. Everything was on time, and our guide, John was super friendly and explained everything.

Incredible views. Gian did a great job navigating and explaining all of the local points of interest. Highly recommended. Very enjoyable.

Disappointed. Not enough seats for our group of 3 (2 members had to lay on the sun deck which was extremely unsafe and not comfortable while traveling at high speeds, not able to enjoy together). This apparently was a shared tour which was not clearly disclosed ahead of time (yes, the tour says Max guests is 5 but not clearly marked on site). The warm bottle of prosecco was also shared between 5 which left not a lot to enjoy and not what the tickets state. The water bottles were never offered by our guide however it was noticeable they may have been stowed on the side storage pockets of the boat and were pre used/open not in a cooler. The lake itself provided great views but the service provided was not fully as described by Viator. Better than taking the ferry but for the price we could have done an actual private boat with another company for same price. When you pay for a service you expect to receive it and not be tricked).

This was a great bang for your buck! Our captain George was so amazing. We learned a lot on the tour stopping at several key points but also got to listen to music and cruise around. We got upgraded to a 4th hour and got to get off and explore Bellagio and Varenna. This experience was definitely a highlight of our Europe trip!

Excellent trip! John was very friendly and took great care of us. We would definitely do it again! We spent just enough time in Bellagio, saw George Clooney's villa and the former Versace villa. Highly recommend this trip!

Great experience with the tour all the way to Bellagio on lake Como on the black pearl. Very easy to organise and communicate.

Was a nice experience overall. Loved the views and the skipper was nice and able to tell us about all the spots on the way. The only thing missing was a little hospitality. Weren’t offered any Prosecco or water. Weren’t asked if we wanted to swim, we did have a stop in Bellagio so not sure if only one of the two was possible. Just a little better communication would be nice. Felt more like a taxi ride with info on the way!

Antonio made our entire trip to Como! He was such an amazing guide for our beautiful boat ride across the unforgettable lake. On top of being very accommodating to all of our needs and requests-he was so much fun and such a delight to be around. We are beyond appreciative of this boating experience and wouldn’t change anything for the world. We strongly recommend this experience to anyone if they’re in the area! We love you Antonio!

Great 3h trip, amazing way to see the lake in a privilege and intimate setting. Anecdotes are shared throughout the trip and a stop is offered in Bellagio. Everyone loved it, from teenagers to grandparents. Highly recommend!
