A terrible experience. The air conditioning doesn't cool the room. Staff won't fix it or provide another room. It is impossible to get a good night's sleep at this hotel. It had the potential to be great, but sleeping while sweating is unacceptable for an establishment claiming to be four-star.
We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel The room was excellent, clean and comfortable, and the whole hotel was spotless. The hotel has a modern, business-style feel inside, even though the exterior doesn’t really show it. The location is fantastic, right near the Swiss border, making it an ideal stop if you’re travelling from Italy towards the UK. Free parking was a big plus — we had a space available immediately without any problems. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included in the price, which was very convenient. The breakfast was quite good, with both Italian and more typical European/English options, and everything we tried was tasty. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Overall, a modern, comfortable hotel in a great location, with excellent facilities and very good value for money. 👍
Without doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in over the last 4 years. Spacious rooms with mini bar and aircon, excellent choices for breakfast, friendly efficient staff. No disturbance from other guests. Best reached by car as it is a 10 minute walk from the local station and no restaurants within walking distance though their own bistro serves excellent evening meals.
Good Hotel, But Be Very Careful with the GPS Route to the Autobahn We stayed here for one night to break up a long drive. The hotel itself is well-managed, offering a quiet, welcoming room and a good breakfast selection. Please note that the car park is unsecured, and the property is frequently used by tour coaches, which means the lobby at check-in/check-out and the breakfast room can become very busy all at once. Navigating to and from the Autobahn is a bit of a labyrinth, even when using Google Maps. More importantly, we encountered a major issue when leaving the hotel. When joining the Autobahn to continue our journey, Google Maps navigated us to a ticketless entry point. Because we did not have a physical entry ticket to present at the toll station at the end of our trip, we were hit with an extortionate surcharge, bringing the total toll cost to €60. The hotel itself is a comfortable choice, but double-check your navigation system when heading back to the highway to avoid a costly mistake.
I would give 4 stars for the room cleaning staff, who did a good job. However, for the rest of the experience, I can only give 2 stars. The staff was unfriendly and rarely smiled. There were broken glasses in the breakfast area, which is very dangerous. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom pipes, and the odor could even be noticed in the hallways. The hotel was also very noisy, making it difficult to relax. In addition, the internet connection did not work properly. I would not recommend this hotel to people who are looking for a quiet and restful stay.
