Just awesome. From the moment we arrived, Violeta at the front desk reallly impressed us — juggling piles of luggage, several checkouts, and multiple guests all at once, yet still giving us incredible service. That level of care continued right through to the end of our stay. The chef and Khalid and staff at breakfast, lunch, and what became our favourite dinner spot were fantastic. Excellent value, an incredible location, and honestly, we loved everything about this place. The staff made it all work seamlessly — the rooms were spotless and everything ran perfectly. This was an incredible way to end a multi-destination European holiday. Thank you, DBH — we will definitely be back! A couple of quick notes: I kept "German holiday" out since it read a bit ambiguous next to "Europe" — let me know if you meant something specific there (like the trip included Germany) and I can work it back in.

This is a hotel I'm delighted to recommend. Little needs to be said about the unbeatable location, right next to the Duomo and steps from the lake. The room was spacious (something much appreciated in Italy), the bathroom very comfortable, as was the bed. But besides the view of the cathedral and the complimentary coffee, what I want to highlight most is the magnificent (and unexpected) breakfast experience. Personalized service, even a menu, everything was delicious. Stay at this hotel.

We are very happy with our choice. While it is not a cheap hotel, it is perfect. The location is the absolute best, situated right in the middle of Como and a short walk from anywhere. Our room offered a great view of the Duomo and the square, it was quite surreal to open the windows and hear buskers playing the violin, which added a wonderful atmosphere. The room itself was very clean and the marbled bathroom felt very luxurious. We didn't expect air conditioning in the room but it had it which was very important due to the recent heat wave. The staff were excellent, welcoming, and pleasant. After I informed them ahead of time, they even left a birthday note and a small gift in the room for my partner. Breakfast was served in the sister restaurant next door, where the staff were also very good. It was amazing to have breakfast every day with the Duomo and the mountains in the background. Thank you so much to the staff for the best trip we have ever been on.

The hotel is in a perfect location, making it easy to explore Lake Como and the surrounding towns. The room was modern, spacious, spotless, and featured beautiful high ceilings that made it feel even more luxurious. What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service provided by Violeta, the Front Desk Manager. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our trip special. She helped us organize our day trips to Tremezzo and Bellagio, arranged taxis, and was always available to answer every question we had. Her customer service was truly first-class and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The entire hotel was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. We felt right at home throughout our stay. I would highly recommend DBH Duomo Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Lake Como. Without a doubt, this is where I will stay when I return one day, and I will be recommending it to all of my friends and family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
