The host didn’t let us in and was demanding the additional charge for the late check in (after the 7 PM). Nothing about the additional charge for the late check in was listed on the Expedia listing. She is absolutely unadequate, yelled at me on the street. She has no idea what the service and hospitality is. Never book this place! She also refused to provide the refund. Truly horrible experience and could not be worse.
Had a great stay here! Loved the room and balcony. Elevator made it convenient for luggage and the location was perfect too. Highly recommend!
Great location and fairly comfortable rooms and bed. Our room lacked some space for opening of suitcases and bench space in the bathroom, although our daughter's didn't have this issue in their room. Signage at the entrance needs to be better as we couldn't find it when we got there which caused a bit of panic amongst us. The green door is the key to knowing where you after. It is very central to Como's centre, the lake and eateries.

First and foremost, we were met at the door by the manager (Yaiza) and she was beyond helpful. Not only was she very welcoming, she offered up great travel tips to see Lake Como and all of it's surrounding towns (see the best tip below). As for the hotel itself, the location is perfect. It is a short 7-minute walk from the train station or an 8-minute walk to the ferries used to explore the lake. Additionally, the bus route runs 2 blocks over if you choose to skip the ferry lines and make the trek north on either side of the lake. The hotel room was spacious, clean, and exceeded our expectations. This will be our go-to hotel for all future adventures to Lake Como. Travel Tip: Stay in the city of Como and travel to the other lake towns (Bellagio, Varenna, Lenno, Menaggio, etc.) on day trips. This way you do not need to carry your large bags on a cramped ferry or bus. Plus the other towns are small and able to be visited in a day. Highly recommend this hotel as your main location.
